Nicole, progress report: none! Toll Bros rep said in December on signing that they would break ground in May. Not! Rep phoned me once May 26 to say permit application would go in first week of June, then left message saying it wasn't done. Venice, Florida. They don't return calls or reply to emails!
@@nicolenieves finally! Toll Brothers permit application filed July 21, 2022 late afternoon. Found it today. This is the start...of our new home. Perhaps we will break ground by October? Fingers crossed.

I want to check they are using the correct sheathing material ( we are so much earlier in the process) and builder is not responding :-s , so want to check whta is actually submitted to city for permits :) . That's so good to hear, I hope they're helpful! I've found a lot of great information from searching my county name plus "public records," " real estate assessment," and "permits search." I still have tabs open daily to monitor the progress with the county! It's definitely crazy how much information is available, but it can be a little tricky to track down. Once you find the database you'll be able to search by your address, lot number, or subdivision depending on how early on in the process you are. Best of luck with your home!
They only charged us once and let the other times slide since it was taking so long but it was $250 per change normally! So it could add up really fast

NO I'm so sorry! Communication isn't that much to ask for, to just not return your calls or emails is ridiculous and beyond frustrating

Closing pushed to August, 2023. That is 19 months from contract signing. Promised 14-16 months. Our supply chain is being sabotaged in every area.
