How To Actually Remove OLD Carpet Glue From Concrete

- I tried chemicals and a razor scrapper and then a power washer. I still had stubborn spots that would not come off. This ended up being the only way I found to get the rest up, without renting tools.

That's a joke if he thinks I'm going to remove this glue with his little chisel like that on a 3000 ft Church it would take me 10 years

Your supposed to power wash first.
Last time i cleaned my porch with water it went down into the basement right where the porch met the door. I wish I could use a power washer. My poor little hands are swollen.

Get a grinder with a surface grinding wheel
I thought of the same idea, but it didn't work , because the old glue just got hot and smeared. It might work with different types of glue, but sure didn't for me.
Add water to keep it cool.
Couldn't you just pour some concrete leveler over it ?

I thought about that too. I purchased model home and the seller used the garage as their guest room so they installed carpet on it. Then when I bought the home, they converted the guest room back to the garage and the garage floor is a mess with the chemical they used to install the carpet
