Thumbs up! Went 2/3 today after work. Caught an egg wagon with over 2 qts of riverine gold in her. I smoke a lot of steelhead, spring ones are pretty dry because of egg/sperm production...all the fats and amino acids go towards reproduction. Smoking them with some brown sugar and a little whiskey or rum on them helps defeat the dryness and adds some flavor.
The irony is I'm sitting here watching you cook fish and right in front of me on my table is a bottle of red hot. If we were neighbors, I'd share. Lol

Great video as usual. I love hooking logs too. You just know its gonna be a nice fish. I've only hooked 2 logs but i remember each one with a smile. If you're fishing I'm watching so keep up the ice fishing vids too.

Fish fray! I’m 25 y/o and from Michigan. Currently in nursing school. We should link up sometime to slay some chrome. It’s hard finding people my age with a passion in this style of fishing. Mostly fish on the east side due to how time benefits but love the west side bites.

Steelhead don't taste very good to me. The smaller ones taste ok, but I would only give them a 7/10.
Dont pan fry it yuck lol take the skin off the fillets throw lemon pepper and lemon juice on them n wrap them in foil n bake them in the oven at 365 for 15 mins a pound
Tasted good to me, baking as you described sounds great as well
