You were the only TH-camr that has 30 minute or longer videos that I actually watch the whole video and don’t get bored. All the other channels are shut off after about 10 to 12 minutes. Keep up the epic content brother.

I used to live in central Texas where fishing was easy accessible. Now I live out in west Texas where I am surrounded by desert by 3+ hours in all directions. I miss fishing regularly so much, and your videos help me live vicariously and will slightly scratch that itch. 11/10 quality entertaining content brother!
I've been watching you now for 2 to 3 weeks and over that time you have pretty much become my favorite TH-cam channel other than maybe the outdoor boys. I really appreciate your passion for the outdoors, your passion for our planet, your passion for fishing. I truly believe what we see of you is the real you. You are very fortunate to live where you do and have the possessions you do the land the boats, and it's refreshing to see someone who is humble enough to know that and make good use of them. You're filming and production style are fantastic. You do at times drive me crazy, always eating the same thing, that damn trout taco and grilled cheese in a tortilla LOL please learn to use some lemon on your fish LOL and sometimes you have the right tools and a great knife and then on the next one you don't have a knife and you are using your tools inappropriately LOL but besides all those trivial things I find myself wanting to be you so continue to put out the awesome content thank you truly.

Love the videos. Wouls like to see more fly fishing. I'm an avid fly fisher, and I anage to catch way more on the fly than any other method. Solo mountain backpacking vids are the best
I honestly prefer these solo winter backpacking videos especially the cooking parts which makes me very hungry :). They're my favorite videos of all time, would like to see more of them especially the 48hrs ones that last 45+ minutes! Keep it up mate favorite youtuber for sure!

I would have loved these adventures back then, launching into early twenties.
Love your style. That raw exuberance for the joys of simple life really strike a chord, and remind me of my younger self.
A trout enchilada is definitely on my list of to-do.
(I only ever camp cooked with a rasher of bacon, and a fried sliced potato.) And being hoggish, would often pan two or three legal sized to nosh and gobble. Fresh trout - nothing like it. Mostly rainbow, occasionally speckled if I was in the right place and got lucky.
A makeshift lean-to in the pouring rain, a blistering hot day in an overhanging shade, howling wind, swirling snow, so cold your front is sweating from the fire and your back is freezing.
All these and more - are trout times.
Done mostly as a kid, 10 to 16. Then I moved to the big city (and discovered other things.)
But this all brings back memories - but I only ever did day trips - out of town into the wilderness in 3 different directions, and back into town by sundown. And one other thing.
Learning that young in life how to go out in the woods, and feed myself, and encounter a solitude that introduced me to myself - that was special, that was magic. I will always be grateful for that opportunity. It lasts a lifetime.

Would Love to see you spend more time on the river near your property. Seems to be huge rainbows. And it can take us back to your property for the cook. I would attempt to practice my fly fishing every opportunity i get on that river, especially near the falls. Play around with all of your flies until you find what works. Id also be practicing my cast on land. You have all the space. keep up the phenomenal work.

Just keep making the videos you make. I subscribe because I like the mix of PNW and IPNW type fishing. I love the mix of van camping, backpacking, lake fishing, creek/river fishing, interesting to see you on your property every once and a while. We’ve been dying to try your fish tacos but winter has kept us off the water for a while but hopefully we’ll be back on the water in a week or two.

I don't know if you all get along, but you all pretty much do somewhat the same thing, and I think it would be fun to watch all of you together. Just an idea.

Would you ever consider a fishing road trip? Northeast Tennessee has some amazing trout waters and our winters are often a good bit milder than what you slept through in this episode! Plenty of places to camp and fish!
