Sadly, right now I recently cut out all dairy bc of blood sugar issues & dairy/cheese isn’t good for low thyroid so it’s out at least for now😢
SO happy for you to be back at it~ cannot imagine eating any other way now myself. Although it's from the same peppercorn white pepper is from the inside of the peppercorn and it is lower in oxalates so people who can't tolerate regular pepper might be able to have a little bit of the flavor with the white pepper and much lower oxalates which is probably what they were reacting to

Fiber is not needed because the same bi product beta hydroxy butyrate you get from fiber fermentation ( short chain fatty acids) or saturated fats for short are produced by ketones which do the same things. If you want to feed your gut microbes from a food source then just have raw dairy. Raw milk kefir or yogurt

Roddas cream 🍦😋👌❤️ Electrolytes powders out there are not worth it, expensive full of unnatural ingredients, make your own instead salt pure water etc...
I feel like lots of people who go on it succeed due to the lack of toxins and synthetic ingredients entering the body. Temporarily it is a good start. However, it doesn’t heal your body long term. The day someone has success in healing cancer on the carnivore diet alone, that day we would consider trying it. Fat is important, but beans for protein and nuts and seeds for fat variety is much healthier long term. Glad to see more and more studies done on this. Sadly yes, there is ever changing and transforming information in the healthy and wellness industry. Remember it is an industry with marketing, and food should give you energy and make you feel good and allow your body to not be sick or have disease.
For me, I see the carnivore diet as a good elimination diet, it’s almost like fasting but not as extreme. It gives people a chance to find out what foods were making them ill. I hope to heal and then I want to reintroduce some foods and see how I react to them.
Legumes, nuts and seeds are the babies of plants and they don't want animals to be able to completely digest them, so they have antinutrients that can be very irritating for the gut, particularly for us monogastric animals. Most people do carnivore due to gut issues. The parts of plants that are less irritating are ripe fruits (without the seeds), but people that have metabolic problems have to be careful with eating a large amount of fruits because they have high levels of fructose, particularly the tropical fruits and dried fruits. Those that are metabolically healthy and exercise a lot can be more liberal with fruits
People probably feel better on this diet because it’s so restrictive and eliminates cakes, biscuits, crisps, chocolate etc. It’s no good long term, as bacon has a lot of carcinogens in it. If you just ate broccoli and cabbage everyday, you’d also get the same effect. Weight loss, increased energy etc. Meat, even organic grown “grass fed” still contains high hormone and antibiotic levels. I worked on both farms and trust me, grass fed doesn’t mean toxin free, they are still pumped with vaccines! I think people should know this before jumping into it.
If you’re talking about nitrates in bacon, it’s not enough to be toxic. We have more nitrates in our saliva and you can buy nitrate-free bacon. The food standards are different from country to country. Organic standards are far higher in the UK than in the US for example. We have to eat, we just have to do the best we can for what suits each and every one of us individually. If you ate nothing but broccoli and cabbage you would be filled with gas, you would feel starving and you would miss out on so many nutrients that are only available in animal products. That’s not to mention the oxalates that are in vegetables . . .
You need to brush up on your facts a little more. Just saying… no one needs to be eating vegetables. No one needs oxalates or bloating. Carnivore is everything we need as humans. It’s our species specific diet.
Thanks for sharing what you eat as a carnivore. Everything looks so good! Curious to know what your kids eat while you're carnivore. Do you cook regular food for them? Thanks!

You don’t need any type of plant material at all
@@ziggycorfield5904 so true!
If you are sensitive to oxalates, no beans, no seeds, no nuts and no vegs, see how u cure your body
