Thanks! Just wondering, what do you feed your kids?
Thank you so much!! I make them meals from scratch (not carnivore), I’m currently filming a video showing all the dinners I am giving them this week. I should have it up on my channel soon 😁
Just had to say I love your egg holder. I've never seen one before.
Oh thank you!
I do the same thing😊 oh I forgot to mention, I’ve lost5 dress sizes since July 2024! I luv this way of eating. Now I need new clothes😊
Omg!! 5 dress sizes since July! That’s incredible. You need to treat yourself to a whole new wardrobe. You must feel so good 😁
@ Yes I do. I’m amazed myself that this program actually works! I luv watching your podcasts. You’re very encouraging!😀
You’re so kind, thank you 💕
I use heavy cream in my coffee but buttercino looks amazing
So good!
Thanks for sharing your carnivore week of eating!
You are so welcome!
Paying room rent and food every month for 10 people isn't enough?/? Why you two fools make another mouth to feed for 18 years? You don't have the Money or Time to babysit that many kids after 8 hour sleep, work, cooking, shower, working on to do list etc One kid costs like $100,000 dollars from 0 to 18 years Don't fork or con, d0m
Why watch a video like this if those are your opinions?
I havent seen anywhere sell beef liver in ages
I’m not sure many supermarkets sell it anymore but they have it in butchers and farm shops usually.
How much cteam and how much cheese to make the sauce??? Do you never eat any vegetables??
If I’m making cheese sauce just for me I use about half a cup of cream and a small handful of grated cheese. I don’t eat any vegetables on the carnivore diet as they have oxalates which are toxic.
I just discovered you and subscribed… so glad I found you! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us!
Thanks for subbing! 💕
Does the carnivore diet affect your breath? Can you only use salt as a seasoning? No pepper?
My breath is good, no bad smell. Just like my body odour has gone. If you’re a very strict carnivore you will have salt but I like to add pepper too.
@ thanks so much for your reply- no one ever answered me before!!!!!! Yay!!!!!
My pleasure x
Be careful going off and on carnivore. I've done it several times, and each time I notice my healing ability seems to lessen. I’m now 2 years into carnivore and after multiple slip-ups lasting weeks or months over the years, each time I restart, the benefits seem to diminish. I did the same as you- came off it for a week or a month after 90 days or so. Initially, it’s as though my body’s healing was already in “high gear” after years of dealing with carbs and processed foods (I think it's in this mode by default for all high carb eaters). Carnivore seems to eventually de-activate the "high gear healing" and shift into “low gear” as there’s no more dietary insult. Nowadays, if I stop carnivore for a month and then return, I see fewer benefits each time (because I'm in low gear healing). I’ve also noticed that going back to carbs not only brings back old health issues but can trigger new ones, like gout. Carnivore diet may not work well with intermittent breaks- it's best long term I think. Just wanted to give you a warning, as I know you’re planning a week off soon and another month off at Christmas. A cheat meal might be okay, but stopping for a full month might be more damaging than if you hadn’t started carnivore at all.
Thank you so much for your words of wisdom from experience, that’s so helpful. I am beginning to see that it’s best for me to continue with this way of eating. I won’t take a whole month off, maybe a couple of cheat days at Christmas. As much as I’d like to stuff my face with all the Christmas food I know I would feel so bad after.
@@largefamilymama i'm the same! Christmas is a downfall... It just sucks that this seems to be an "all or nothing" diet. Let me know if you get a similar experience as I did. I wish I could get the amazing feeling back when I first started carnivore...
Love this. Not many British people in the carnivore space, can you tell me where you buy your lamb riblets from?
Thank you! I buy the lamb riblets from the local farm.
Although it's from the same peppercorn white pepper is from the inside of the peppercorn and it is lower in oxalates so people who can't tolerate regular pepper might be able to have a little bit of the flavor with the white pepper and much lower oxalates which is probably what they were reacting to
That’s great info, thanks, I’ll be using white pepper from now on!
Yay it's back haha did they sort the issue ? all that meat looks delicious. I love your jumper btw xx
No they didn’t 🤨 I deleted and re uploaded and then it worked fine 😃
Hi its Victoria from home educating the mad lads on my othwr account. Your voice is very calming im glad you are back to vlogging. I cant believe our little ones our 3 it doesnt seem five monutes since we were both pregnantxxx
Oh thank you! Yes 3 already, what the hell!!! 😆
I did lion for 6 weeks and i felt amazing. I had so much energy and no body pain. But slowly carbs came back into my diet. i feel worse than ever. So im preparing myself to go back onto it. Im going to try and do lion straight up again but i do love having cream in my coffee. Ive tried the butter but i didnt like it that much. But maybe mixing it like you do might help.
The lion diet sounds intense. Did you try the carnivore diet? Cream in coffee is so nice!
@@largefamilymama I started on Lion and found it quite easy. I introduced dairy and found that it started to affect me. I seem to be fine with cream in small doses and I have to watch how much cheese I eat and milk seems to be an issue. So when I do lion I'm just going to still use cream in coffee and just go from there. I have low ferritin so going lion will help with that also
What do you feed to your kids?
I feed them good home-cooked, from scratch meals (not carnivore). I’m currently making a video of a week of my kids’ dinners so that will be out soon.
Roddas cream 🍦😋👌❤️ Electrolytes powders out there are not worth it, expensive full of unnatural ingredients, make your own instead salt pure water etc...
💯% agreed 😁
It’s really good to see you so much more recently
Thank you. It feels good to be back 😊
I’m so happy to hear someone debunk the myth about fibre 🙌🏼 Great video. As well as watching Dr Berry, I also take advice from Dr Elizabeth Bright she’s a great advocate of taking iodine. Where do you do your shopping?
I’ve watched a couple of her videos and I thought she was so good!! I get my iodine from mussels. I buy my meat from the local farm
Fiber is not needed because the same bi product beta hydroxy butyrate you get from fiber fermentation ( short chain fatty acids) or saturated fats for short are produced by ketones which do the same things. If you want to feed your gut microbes from a food source then just have raw dairy. Raw milk kefir or yogurt
Thank you for sharing these beautiful videos with us, and for all the time it takes to make them! I hope to start a channel myself soon ❤
Please do! I would love to see your videos, keep me updated 🤗
I just discovered your ytbe channel and subscribed. I love watching videos that are clear, calm and carnivore topic. I just watched this plus the "what I eat in a week " video so far. I was recommended intermittent fasting two years ago then binged watched all the videos then discovered the ketovore/carnivore people and rest is history. I know what to do if I refrain from carbs and have gained and lost many times. Thanks for your inspiration.
Welcome aboard! 💕 I’m glad you like the videos 😁
hello, I noticed you keep your eggs outside of fridge, how long do they last? beautiful bread. thx for info on carnivore. would like to try it one day soon, probably just after Christmas.
We go through eggs so quickly in this house so they’re never older than a week but eggs do last ages out of the fridge. Here in the UK eggs are not kept in fridges in the stores either. If you are interested in the carnivore diet, you might want to see a recent video of mine where I shared all the carnivore meals I ate for an entire week th-cam.com/video/z2wLDhEEupg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mdTb_kTA_D52nUTy
@@largefamilymama thx! I'll look at it for sure!
People probably feel better on this diet because it’s so restrictive and eliminates cakes, biscuits, crisps, chocolate etc. It’s no good long term, as bacon has a lot of carcinogens in it. If you just ate broccoli and cabbage everyday, you’d also get the same effect. Weight loss, increased energy etc. Meat, even organic grown “grass fed” still contains high hormone and antibiotic levels. I worked on both farms and trust me, grass fed doesn’t mean toxin free, they are still pumped with vaccines! I think people should know this before jumping into it.
If you’re talking about nitrates in bacon, it’s not enough to be toxic. We have more nitrates in our saliva and you can buy nitrate-free bacon. The food standards are different from country to country. Organic standards are far higher in the UK than in the US for example. We have to eat, we just have to do the best we can for what suits each and every one of us individually. If you ate nothing but broccoli and cabbage you would be filled with gas, you would feel starving and you would miss out on so many nutrients that are only available in animal products. That’s not to mention the oxalates that are in vegetables . . .
You need to brush up on your facts a little more. Just saying… no one needs to be eating vegetables. No one needs oxalates or bloating. Carnivore is everything we need as humans. It’s our species specific diet.
Thanks
Thank you so much. My first ever Super Thanks!! 😁💕💕💕
@@largefamilymamawell I hope it will not be your last

Buttercino 🤣🤣🤣 love it
Yes indeed!! 😆
Really nice to see an English mother on carnivore! And you home school your children. Brilliant.

@ I homeschooled my now grown up children, am 100 days on carnivore, did it for IBS and I have the same kitchen cupboards as you 😂.

What kind of work does your husband do? I love how calming you are! When my 9 grandkids are at my house it’s pandemonium. Always cleaning and cooking. Two big dogs in the mix. Wish I was as calm as you. Love your videos.
My husband does a driving job. I may seem calm but I don’t always feel it 🤣💕

I'm a mom of 8. 3 who are grown. My youngest is 4 mo old. I also take them me and n the morning to just sit and think about things. I usually do a brain dump and write everything down on paper. Then put things in some kids of order or list. It mainly only makes sense to me but it helps me feel ready for the day
Oh yes, I can definitely relate to that!! 😁
Great info thanks 😊 where do you get your diced lamb please 🙏
I get it from our local farm
I cook pork belly, lamb, beef belly in my new electric pressure cooker.
Oooh yes! I love using the pressure cooker 😁
Can i use olive oil?
You can but I wouldn’t on this diet as it’s from a plant. I use ghee, butter, lard and tallow.
Hi. Can you have heavy cream in the coffee?
Yes you can! I often do.
@ thank you!
SO happy for you to be back at it~ cannot imagine eating any other way now myself. Husband & I have been meat based 9w/coffee0 for about 4 years now, & it's been absolutely life changing, to say the least. Every single aspect of life, our health & wellness, has vastly improved. I eat slightly more fat than my husband, & he eats about twice the protein I do. It's amazing how our bodies begin to tell us exactly what they need, as time goes on. It simply gets better and better. I have always been a heavy researcher, and your statement about it "all being a lie" has been completely true, imho & experience. Knowledge is everything. ~Samantha in AZ
It’s good to hear that being meat based for that long is working so well for you and your husband 😁 And yes I really wasn’t joking about everything we’re told to believe being a lie. Just when you think there can’t be anything else . . .
@@largefamilymamaspinning ball earth ( lie, too). How deep the rabbit hole goes. 😐
You could use the 33% cream, too
True
I’m allergic to all eggs and coffee messes with me, makes carnivore hard-ish on a budget tbh. 🙃 But I feel really good!
I completely get that. I guess you just have to keep telling yourself that your health is worth the price, more so than pretty much anything else.
I do the hm electrolytes too but I also add iodine to get it all in ❤
Iodine is so important so that’s brilliant. I get mine from mussels.
I make a butter-chai it turns out 😂❤
Sounds nice 😁
This was great Alex. Its mostly simple and always delicious.
Hi Sarah 💕 It has to be! I wouldn’t be able to do it on top of everything else if I didn’t keep it that simple 😆
@largefamilymama I know what you mean lol.
I feel like lots of people who go on it succeed due to the lack of toxins and synthetic ingredients entering the body. Temporarily it is a good start. However, it doesn’t heal your body long term. The day someone has success in healing cancer on the carnivore diet alone, that day we would consider trying it. Fat is important, but beans for protein and nuts and seeds for fat variety is much healthier long term. Glad to see more and more studies done on this. Sadly yes, there is ever changing and transforming information in the healthy and wellness industry. Remember it is an industry with marketing, and food should give you energy and make you feel good and allow your body to not be sick or have disease.
For me, I see the carnivore diet as a good elimination diet, it’s almost like fasting but not as extreme. It gives people a chance to find out what foods were making them ill. I hope to heal and then I want to reintroduce some foods and see how I react to them.
Legumes, nuts and seeds are the babies of plants and they don't want animals to be able to completely digest them, so they have antinutrients that can be very irritating for the gut, particularly for us monogastric animals. Most people do carnivore due to gut issues. The parts of plants that are less irritating are ripe fruits (without the seeds), but people that have metabolic problems have to be careful with eating a large amount of fruits because they have high levels of fructose, particularly the tropical fruits and dried fruits. Those that are metabolically healthy and exercise a lot can be more liberal with fruits
New subscriber here from Kentucky USA. I also have been following the carnivore lifestyle since 2022. It’s so simple way of eating. I have looked at recipes off & on that I could eat as a Ketovore. But after reading all the ingredients I always feel exhausted in even thinking of making the recipe…..Simple carnivore suits me just fine😁. Your cheese sauce looks amazing, the stuffed burgers with cheese YUMMY!! Your video was so well presented. Thank you❤

Been carnivore since Jan of 2024. I still don't get tired of it. Even though I can't even eat black pepper. The longer you are on it, the more you'll see what works and what doesn't. For instance, aged meats like charcuterie or just plain shrimp causes me to have allergy symptoms like itchy eyes. It's a great way of eating.
It's a great way of living. It's a lifestyle. And of of course it ultimate eliminating diet, so you can directly see your reactions for sertain foods. An so minimalistic!!! I love it
I can’t wait to see more improvements, I know I have a long way to go and these are still the early days for me 😁
I needed more fat to be in ketosis. I had to cut out butter& switch to ghee or browned butter to get rid of the milk fat. Butter was making my blood sugar spike.
The recipe for pancakes can be made into waffles easily bc you don’t separate the eggs. Same ingredients just whisk all together. I add cream cheese(2 oz) if I’m eating dairy. Sadly, right now I recently cut out all dairy bc of blood sugar issues & dairy/cheese isn’t good for low thyroid so it’s out at least for now😢
White pepper has low oxalate. You may be able to tolerate it if you want.
