Starlancer Mission 3

A mission to retrieve a data recorder from a destroyed friendly command ship.
This mission is clearly important, as the Alliance's top ace pilot, Klaus Steiner of the Vampires, will be taking command of the mission.
What surprises could there possibly be in store?

This might be my favorite mission in the early game, as you get sent through a wormhole to Venus and destroy the Coalition warp gate alongside a top Alliance ace.

Also, the part at 7:30 in the debris with all the mines and beeping is incredibly tense. I couldn't beat it that sequence as a kid.

09:51 must destroy that *before* getting sucked back into the warp otherwise the mission is a bust.

You should have just continued killing every fighter and ship transport before blowing up the gate (although you will have to deal with your co-pilot's constant rant of blowing up the gate).
