We won't. We won the war against loot boxes, getting them pulled from EAfront and getting governments to pass legislation against them, but it came at a heavy cost. The cost of that victory was Battlefront 3.
The most nostalgic thing from this is having to land, take off and land again cuz one mfer will always stay in the ship, and if you leave him he'll decide to kamikaze the spawn point
yeah thats annoying as heck, man those were the days, when battlefront games were good, I'd play them online if the server hadn't gone down. if the developers have any sense they will listen to what we like in a battlefront game rather than telling us what we like in a battlefront game.
EA bf2 DESERVED these types of "starfighter deathmatches." No destroying a lucrehulk or defend the objective, just deathmatch with other targets and bordable ships
@@louisbrice1466to be fair how amazing would boarding a Lucrehulk be? Like it's just the extra massive capital ship in addition to two Separatist capital ships and you've got like 3 Venators Support ships for both sides Multistory interior and multiples of the internal systems to destroy I'd play 100 hours of that in a heartbeat
@@ClericOfPholtus my sentence was worded a bit badly but by "no destroying a lucrehulk" i meant the lucrehulk mission in starfighter assault, and on your comment imagine the amount of time you would be able to re-ennact the destruction of the lucrehulk in the the umbara ark
Great game! I used to win every space battle. My strategy was: Destroy all the frigates first. Land on the hostile ship and destroy their auto turrets and shield generator from within the ship. Die. Destroy all the ships hardpoints with bomber. Then mop up if needed.
I love that strategy. Take as many troops as you can, land in the CIS flagship, BOOM, you now have a spawn point in the enemy ship and now troops will spawn and cause chaos in the hanger area.🤣. BUT hold on there, slick. We aren't done yet. Now you gotta be a pilot and plant the bombs/primed explosives on the relay, generator, and shields. After this, all you gotta do is steal a fighter and do as much damage as you can. It's a good tactic. Highly recommend. It works 99.9% of the time.
Canonically a space LAAT (Which is a variant of the LAAT that is fit for space combat) pilot would just deliver the clone marines into the hangar and return to the Venator. It proves how much this game is different from the core canon. The communication and sensor relays and the life support system weren’t that exposed in canon and Clones could only a specific role in space combat.
One of my favourite plays in space battles. Land the gunship, order everybody out, leave the gunship there, sabotage as much of the ship's systems as possible, then steal an enemy bomber to finish the job.
As you saw at the end of the video, there are 2 transports spawning on this map. Land both of them in the enemy hangar and watch the chaos unfold. Almost all the bots of your team spawn there. Park on top of the spawn location of the 2 enemy transport and they never reappear
Cool strategy! Actually there’s supposed to be only one transport in the map but you can actually do this trick on Space Felucia, because there are 2 LAATs in the hangar at the start of the match
The one thing I missed doing playing Battlefront 2 back in the day was in the original one you could fly ships. I used to transport troops on Geonosis.
I honestly really liked Star Wars Battlefront 2 ps4. I got the game a few months before it was free on PSN Plus. So when that happened I just ran thru everyone. It was great. Kept playing for way longer. I think a current gen battlefront 3 would blow everything out the water. But EA are some big jerks.
I need these types of LAAT vehicles to return in a future SWB 3....if we ever get one
I didn't expect to see you here! Big fan of your content!

You can just leave that ship there it becomes a spawn point until it’s destroyed
Not as cool
It lasts for like 5 seconds after you leave the ship. Then an AI pilot will take off and crash it.

You should just add all crew to your squad, then they all will leave the ship with you without stealing it

At least I know how to land my ship... I mean, look at what Anakin and Obi-Wan did on Coruscant
A great car comes with a great responsability
every time i do this, one of these mfs takes off and flies into the ceiling
Land, take off, land again. Repeat till everyone exits the ship. Then exit yourself and you got a spawn point.
Every landing forces at least 1 passenger to leave
