Viewers PLEASE do not be clouded by this video. I just spent a month motorbiking in Vietnam and spent my last few days in Phu Quoc. Don't go to Vietnam if you don't want to truly experience it. Don't show up to the island and go directly to a western resort to surround yourself with pricey amenities. This video was in pursuit of pampering and focused on the antiseptic parts of the island while minimizing the rest of it. Please don't make the mistake of arriving as a westerner who says the motorbike ride between north and south is "rough" because it rained and she is wearing new pants. Or, implies the "imbalance" of the island needs to be fixed. Sunset Town and Grand World are mesmerizing and you MUST go there. But you can also support the locals and get a fantastic little bungalow with a pool and personal service for $30 a night. You can enjoy an incredible assortment of restaurants, cafes and local interactions. You can get the authentic experience of Vietnam with all of the little villages. And you can do it all on a cheap motorbike with very easily traveled roads. I got a flat motorbike tire on a isolated road at night on Phu Quoc and it added to the fun of the adventure using Google translate to find a repair shop. Go enjoy all of the island. Just don't wear you new pants.
@@bhavyabatra1152 Absolutely. We stayed at the "Phu Quoc Bungalow, Yen Thanh"which is in a great area just a few minutes north of Phu Quoc City. Less than $30 you get a neat little bungalow with kitchen and AC and a pool on the nicely kept property. They have scooters to rent and will pick you up or drop you off at the airport. Better to pay them than a taxi. If you want a busier place there are many options in Phu Quoc City and even for the same price in Grand World or Sunset Town if you like the manicured environment. Wherever you stay, everything is easily accessible while slowly cruising around the island on a cheap motorbike.
I usually go to walt disney world every year for vacation. This year I am going to Phu Quoc mainly because I want to actually relax and not have to deal with long lines, huge crowds and very annoying tourist. I can't wait.
Beautiful video and you always have a smile on your face. You are a happy girl. Have a great holiday. You also need to visit Sunset town at night and see the Kiss bridge. Watch the water show.
Great video! We're also planning a trip to Phu Quoc this year, and I'd like to bring a drone for some aerial footage. Did you need a special permit to fly your drone there?
Thank you for watching! I am happy you liked it! For the drone, you do not need any permission as long as you respect the limit of 120 meters. I am not sure about the big drones but for the small ones you do no need permission 🙌

Thank you for watching! This is actually a very good question. As far as we managed to find out, these cities were built as a replica of Mediterranean cities, not having as a purpose to fully accommodate people. In the same time, the construction took about 7 years and it was finalized only 4 years ago, so we were thinking that the project is still quite new and not many businesses had time to be set there.
@@MalinasvibeCompleted 4 years ago but still quiet 😮 Is it an area for millionaires? There is an elite area in Jakarta, namely PIK, the building is not finished yet but many people have ordered it
Hello! First of all thank you for watching! I hope you enjoyed it. In regards to your question, yes it’s same visa for Vietnam, you do not need a separate visa, exactly how you go from Hanoi to Saigon for example, even you do not need to go trò the immigration office when you are flying because you are flying domestic 🙌
I hear that foreign tourists don't need visa if they only stay on the island but if they want to leave the island to go to the Main Land they do need to obtain visa.
If you're a foreigner then you're going to hate this concept of course because you as a western you do not want to visit western concepts when you come to Asia and it’s totally normal, but most Vietnamese and Asian can’t afford to travel to Europe so I think this is cater to them
@Malinasvibe no I am asian. I prefer authentic environment. Not the fake feeling of going to a theme park. Example Laos has temples like thailand. Bali has hindu influence. But if I enter ba na hill and phu quoc, what do I see? Theme park right? And a "safari". So not my cup of tea.

There is an elite area in Jakarta, namely PIK, the building is not finished yet but many people have ordered it
Now there are only a few hotels and restaurants, I do not think the people started to buy the apartments, I think they are very expensive
@@Malinasvibe Very expensive means it's not their market, simple 😉
Easy. Like ba na hills, phu quoc is built for vietnamese to enjoy European settings. Not many vietnamese can afford going to Europe due to cost.

Does Grab operate in Phu Quoc?
Yes, but not on the whole island
Free bus ride!
Any update on the garbage issue at the beaches , please ?
Resort owned beaches are pretty clean, public beaches can be a bit polluted. Same as everywhere in VN actually.
Did you get a permit when flying the drone?
European have to promote Sun Group and Vin Pearl without background! Very wise! The future generation!
Do they have bike rentals?
I got our scooter from +84 32 722 3366, you can contact them they have the best prices
