I'm actually very pysched with what CFMOTO is doing. Affordable cool looking small CC bikes is an overlooked market that is finally getting some love!
Gotta check it out in Europe, 300-800cc market has become our biggest one in the past decade, there are so many bikes in that category now, more than any others tbh.
@@motomax_99 love it - roads aren't race tracks so bikes that are smaller CC less than 100 or so HP just make sense. smiles per CC!

It can't, it will cost twice the price of a Ducati V4, remember the US increased Tarrifs for China goods by quite a tall sum :D now everything will be expensive by 10 folds
@@mannyechaluce3814 well good thing that CFmoto has become a very popular brand across Europe then, we are a huge market for them since they teamed up with KTM and they sure are way cheaper than all their competitors apart from the other Chinese manufacturers but those are mostly quite crappy in comparison, the only other good ones don't make sports bikes like this one, so they don't need to worry about them for competition though.

This actually looks very unique, I currently own a 450SR but I might actually consider getting this in the future

Okay.. Now this looks nice! The CFMOTO Papio XO had a very nice design and I always thought it was wasted on minibike. Glad to see the design language is now carried over into bigger CC bikes.

I've been checking periodically for updates about the 500SR ever since i first heard about it in late 2023. Nice to finally see some of it, however i really wasn't expecting the "neo retro" look, especially after the initial prototype that was teased looked so different
Maybe they will sell the 500 cc engine with 2 different looks

Yep. I’ve happy with my IBex 800T and so far no issues with it. If this comes stateside there’s room in the garage for it. Love the Papio SS and glad to see this design on a bigger bike.

@johns1139 I'm inclined to agree. I work as a cfmoto dealership technician. The NK850 and CL-X are sub $10,000, I do think this would be around that if not about $9k

Domestic Market for now... I'd buy this the second it hits U.S. soil. You had me at the looks and then you sold me at 16,000 rpm 4 cylinder! That is exact niche the market has been missing ever since the old Honda fireblade 250rr.

This is so damn cool and really important for regions that have sub 500cc insurance bonuses. This bike would be way cheaper to operate where I'm from.
If you look at the seat it looks very Ninja style. You will be positioned upright in a touring stance it seems. That pillion seat could easily handle bags for a bit of touring.
I'm going to say 88Hp. 32Ft lbs of Torque.
