There are still old school motorheads who cling to European or American brands regardless of excellent choices found in the global market. But the paradox is that most Euro brands are already produced in the Indo-Pacific region. Think Royal Enfield, Benelli, Moto Morini, certain Ducati and Triumph models, etc. Unfortunately, mechanical gremlins are still bugging these brands. I'm sticking with the Japanese Big Four manufacturers for practicality and reliability.
I'm holding out for the CFMOTO 500SR Voom (only available for the Chinese market). Hopefully any R&D that's still needs refinement will be addressed during the Chinese market period and then maybe they come to Europe and the US.
Instead of simply replacing the defect display on my delivered new chinese moto bike I have to go to the dealer for the fourth time to measure some nonsense instead of replacing the part. That’s the problem with chinese manufacturers, the support doesn’t exist if they by their own made a mistake. With an orderly end control they wouldn’t have delivered a motorbike with a defect part and in this instance nothing has changed with China🤷🏻♂
I am not afraid to try something like this but the real problem here is that most of these bikes are only available in few or certain countries. I have only seen two chinese bikes available in my country.
i cannot afford anything like HD or triumph and i like the reliability and durability of japans motorbikes and thats why i ride a bandit 1200s these days
They improve a lot…. Is like Hyundai in the early years…. Was cheap and no one wanted but now is as expensive as Honda and toyota:… soon these Chinese bikes will cost as much as Honda and Yamaha … and offering more
I bought a small Benelli (TNT135) two years ago and I can say it's a fun ride in the twisties. Suspension and brakes are great. Problems I've encountered are dealer network (too few), parts availability and fuel metering issues. The bike hiccups at steady throttle in slow-moving traffic. This emerged under warranty and a new oxygen sensor was ordered but it took four months to arrive and it did not completely remedy the problem. The bike still bucks and snorts under 25kph but it shines when running at full throttle.
Forgot anything!!! Chinese products are cheep , not reliable and most not more then a copy from an German, Italian or other motorcycle manufacturer… I never , never would buy such a fake…
"china made is junk" is for old people thinking. Perhaps to some china made it's true, but there are many quality china made and brand now a days and in fact better than the big four from japan which pinoys dont notice because of the mind set. Nong nagsimula ang big 4 dito sa pinas, tinangkilik ba sila kaagad ng mga pinoy? Di ba hindi? Di ba it takes years to establish a name.
Thank God I will buy some for myself
