This is the first build of any Diablo IV class & type that I've seen from a TH-cam video that actually works and is achievable without a ton of special or unique gear. It's a far superior build to the one that I was using before (that I happened to find on maxroll). Thanks for the great video and making your skills & paragon available. I'll check out your other videos!
Dude. This build rocks!! I switched at level 72 from another BL build where I had mana issues. Now there's no mana issues, more balls, and the attack speed is better. Gear is far from fully optimized. Thanks, you've got a new sub!

I just bought the game a few days ago, im so into it, i did this build at lvl 60, destroyed Elias in 5 seconds, arrive to world tier 4, rush into blood harvest, delete everything at lvl 60, this build is the best!!!!!
i've tried all these "other" ball lightning builds, and this is by far the BEST one. IF you are wondering "how come my build can't seem to generate enough mana or generate enough ball lightning" or wondering "how come i only have like 2 or 3 balls floating around me like a noob" then try this build. As soon as you get enough experience when to blow your CDs to help generate even more mana, you will be going through nightmare dungeon like everyone else!
you dont need all that. Thibault and rechearging should be good for mana. You can spam the 50mana from the pants pretty regularly. sure the 3 and 4 items (recharging, prodigy) help a lot but imo all sorc build should have some %mana reduction which is a big help in mana use.

Everything you said here is 100% true, you only need those (3) aspects on the amulet and rings. And focus more on cooldown and attack speed. Just a little bonus adding 4 Rank Ball of Lightning on pants will improve the build. Thanks for the great build man.
I've just switched to this at lvl 60 after not being content with any of the other builds and it just works, I don't have any good gear, just the codex and the lightning orb power and it just works.

I have tried and liked many ball lightning builds but this is over the top! Awesome build! I took my level 61 into a tier 48 with a friend and was going through mobs like nothing. He was 93 rogue. Now there were several occasions where I got one shotted, but that was due to my own fault. Thanks again for the build.
You were RIGHT - I looked at character sheet before I attacked at it was at 12% attack speed then jumped up to 34% when attacking cause I have a 22% accelerating aspect and removed Ravenous during the test. With Ravenous will hit 100% CAP - Nice! Even without ravenous my base ball lightning damage jumped from 41k to 62k base. My damage per tick and i get like 30-50 ticks per second is ranging from 100-200k before ultimate and 150-300k per tick - its pretty insane. So much funner having high lucky hit with Frost Orb! Thank you so much for the wonderful ideas.

I have to let you know. I've tried several BL Sorc builds the past couple weeks and this build is by far the best I've come across, with my current gear/level. I would either be tanky and mana starved or squishy as hell. This is the perfect balance and I have a lot of blue balls to spread around. Thank You
I was really struggling with mana regen on other versions of this build. Maybe because I am still lvl 63 only. However your build really brought the fun back into the game and it is really fun and works for lower levels. Really appreciated, my man! Thanks so much!

Good build. Been running Ball sorc the whole season, clearing 80-82 NM's. The Frozen Orb/Permafrost thing didn't work for me. Was having a hard time clearing 77s. I opted to put those points in CL and Spear then put Spear and CL as Enhancements. Spear stuns most everything before it even gets on the screen. Combined with CL it keeps everything Vulnerable and stunned the whole time. Then instead of undying you can put Dom back in and you can add Damage Reduc from CC back on your armor. Put me up to easy moding 84s. Playing with Glyphs atm, put Enchanter back on the Enhan board.
Holy crap... I just switched to this build and now I almost feel invincible. Just ran a level 89 dungeon for the first time and it wasn't very difficult at all. LOVE this build!! Endless mana!!!
You get +3 from amulet and the 40% dmg and 50 to mana every time you evade is crazy powerful and the 50 all stat is amazing. 40% dmg on unique pants is way more dmg then +4 to the skill
Roger, Wilco...really digging your approach to Vampiric Powers; been tinkering with different configs since 1.2.2, finding fun results, but overall, unspectacular. Along with this Skill Tree, I already see how harmonious your Vampiric setup is to a Blue Ball God...going to respec, right now. Thanks!

Gotta be honest, I was like "yeah right another one saying BEST BL build" and my Lvl72 Sorc tried this build nevertheless my gear is still kinda Lame and still no uniques but can confirm this one is fun as hell and rly f.cks any other build i tried so far. Definitely going to give your vampire powers a try. What I seem to struggle with is staying alive in NM+80 (I seem to have plateaued in my pushing to NM100) but i love this build so much been blasting since i got the key aspect at lvl 60ish

@@ultrarunnagaming Well after playing around with it some hours I can say that this build is pure fun. But something is not right in the Talentcalculator. On the 2. Paragon Board "Stastic Surge" I should use the Glyph "Territorial" which requires 25 Dex for the Bonus. On the Calculator you can get those 25 Dex but Ingame my Board looks different there and I´m unable to get the last 5 Dex Points. It seems that some nodes are different.
The mana generating aspect for chain lightning, and the ball lightning spiral aspect for certain. Other things I have tried are are solid armor aspects and especially bonuses to damage with barrier since you almost always have one.@@kuja5809
I thought my current build was broken but this build is even better and with the new spec ring we get tomorrow will always have up to 30x multiplier since we are doing lightning and frost damage always. You get up to 15x per element used
Any element at all will reset all three bonuses, so all you have to do is tag something with Flame Shield and you can maintain the full 45% on a perfect ring
Ever try it with metamorphosis/oculus/Tibault/raiment? Very fast. Alot of fun. Little slower on bosses but still does uber lilith and it can do NM dungeon 100 pretty easy.
I’m new to Diablo but based on the comments, it looks like this build works well. My question is due to the season ending, I know my level 25 sorcerer will be going to the eternal realm, so I won’t have access to the vampiric powers (and maybe other stuff in this video?). If I follow everything else in this video, will it still work well in the eternal realm with mana regeneration despite not having season 2 buffs?
Looks like a very powerful, broken, and OP build you put together! Can't wait to try it out. Hate to niggle, but the pronunciation of some of the elements of the build could use some work: "Conjuration" is pronounced "Con - ger - a - tion," "Sanguine" is pronounced "Sang - Win," Etc, Can't remember there might have been other words too. I am running Max rolls ball Lightning build I wonder how this build would be with god slayer crown, raiment of the infinite, Tibault's will, fickerstep. and Tal Rasha's loop going to have to try it out for sure

@@TheGregStrickland I believe it will be the same on eternal. It’s not necessarily a nerf it’s more of a bug fix that brings it back in line. Still a very solid build no doubt
The build link doesn't have any recommended aspects if you DON'T have the uniques... What would you put on for placeholding as you farm the uniques? Thanks & really looking forward to trying it out!
Focus on attack speed, mana cost reduction. That’s all you really need. Once you have good stats for both you will generate balls very quickly :). Happy hunting
Most of the uniques do one thing increase damage or damage reduction. There is a aspect that gives you 2 lightning spears every time u cast it, this is good example if u have lightning ball in your enchantment -> it will spawn a extra lighting ball on enemies So lightning balls will spawn on enemies outside your screen with lightning spears clearing mobs u haven't reached yet. This is good for bosses too as it will spawn lightning balls inside of them causing constant damage . The only thing you should focus on is how honestly the paragon board make sure you gave pragone board set up properly and you can use almost any aspects you want . Lightning balls does so much damage u actually don't need any extra perks for more damage so u can focus on other aspects for utility and damage reduction instead
i found at a certain point I could drop prodigy's aspect and rely solely on tibault's and recharging. I think I have control on my ring which would work well with your frozen orb
Amazing! I love my Chain Lighting sorc but she just couldn't compare to the damage i was seeing from Ball sorcs. So I tried a couple of builds, last one was promising. Powerful but mana drain until I could tweak my gear right. Switched to this and absolutely love it. Powerful and only run outta of mana a handful of times in deep fights where I spam, spam and spam. TY!!!
Got a level 70 druid, its okayyy. Just started a new character and chose sorc after being inspired by this video. Does this work well with eternal characters as well? I know we dont have the vamporic powers
Yes it will still be extremely powerful just focus on attack speed, mana cost reduction once you get those two stats high enough you will have blue balls for days :)

You don't want the +4 on your Pants?

Undying and resilience are quite helpful for T100.
I run meta as well, synergizes very well with tibaults and oculus.
My issue with metamorphosis is it doesn't stack with esus 😊 when you evade you get 75% movement speed

One thing I would change is use vampiric power Hemomancy once its leveled up its insane!!! otherwise solid build!!

i got two of that orb aspect during level 28-25, thank god I stored them in a chest!
The gravitational aspect can drop from any tier. I got it in WT2 while I was leveling, it's just a rarer aspect to have drop.

Frozen orb is an interesting choice. I've been going with firebolt for Devouring Blaze, but using frozen orb for Hoarfrost just sounds more fun.

Frost nova over electric spear. You are stunning them anyway 3s vs 2s
Fire shield you need 25% mana reduction vs extra point for 3% in convulsion.
I too am excited to have these blue balls!
Try temerity pants with the sanguine brace and the undying vampiric powers. You are practically immortal.

I'm sure at this point it's been said somewhere but you can get the gravitational aspect before tier 3. I got mine in tier 1 or 2.

I thought my current build was broken but this build is even better and with the new spec ring we get tomorrow will always have up to 30x multiplier since we are doing lightning and frost damage always. You get up to 15x per element used

Any element at all will reset all three bonuses, so all you have to do is tag something with Flame Shield and you can maintain the full 45% on a perfect ring
@@drkillbrew6387 and there is a vampiric power that applies poison which is pretty cool with the ring
Ever try it with metamorphosis/oculus/Tibault/raiment? Very fast. Alot of fun. Little slower on bosses but still does uber lilith and it can do NM dungeon 100 pretty easy.

I’m new to Diablo but based on the comments, it looks like this build works well. My question is due to the season ending, I know my level 25 sorcerer will be going to the eternal realm, so I won’t have access to the vampiric powers (and maybe other stuff in this video?). If I follow everything else in this video, will it still work well in the eternal realm with mana regeneration despite not having season 2 buffs?

Looks like a very powerful, broken, and OP build you put together! Can't wait to try it out. Hate to niggle, but the pronunciation of some of the elements of the build could use some work: "Conjuration" is pronounced "Con - ger - a - tion," "Sanguine" is pronounced "Sang - Win," Etc, Can't remember there might have been other words too. The Gravitational aspect can DEFINITELY drop in WT1. I found it at about L20 in a Blood Harvest about a week ago

For this build it’s really for mana regen mostly. It prices often because we are attacking so fast which is what gives you your mana back
@@ultrarunnagaming for some reason i cant find any ring or boots with resource regen stats. is this only in WT4?
@@JD-hm2wo no they can drop in any level. Remember you can also go to the enchanter and roll your gear until you get stats you need :)

I am running Max rolls ball Lightning build I wonder how this build would be with god slayer crown, raiment of the infinite, Tibault's will, fickerstep. and Tal Rasha's loop going to have to try it out for sure

Thank you and appreciate the support. Ball lightning imho is not worth it in Season 3. It has been given a hard nerf, it’s good don’t get my wrong but Meteor or Ice Spikes is much better in Season 3 :).

@@TheGregStrickland I believe it will be the same on eternal. It’s not necessarily a nerf it’s more of a bug fix that brings it back in line. Still a very solid build no doubt

Focus on attack speed, mana cost reduction. That’s all you really need. Once you have good stats for both you will generate balls very quickly :). Happy hunting

Could you elaborate a little on what Uniques you use in which situations? Do you ever use godslayers? Flickerstep?
Most of the uniques do one thing increase damage or damage reduction. There is a aspect that gives you 2 lightning spears every time u cast it, this is good example if u have lightning ball in your enchantment -> it will spawn a extra lighting ball on enemies
So lightning balls will spawn on enemies outside your screen with lightning spears clearing mobs u haven't reached yet. This is good for bosses too as it will spawn lightning balls inside of them causing constant damage .
The only thing you should focus on is how honestly the paragon board make sure you gave pragone board set up properly and you can use almost any aspects you want . Lightning balls does so much damage u actually don't need any extra perks for more damage so u can focus on other aspects for utility and damage reduction instead
i found at a certain point I could drop prodigy's aspect and rely solely on tibault's and recharging. I think I have control on my ring which would work well with your frozen orb

Amazing! I love my Chain Lighting sorc but she just couldn't compare to the damage i was seeing from Ball sorcs. So I tried a couple of builds, last one was promising. Powerful but mana drain until I could tweak my gear right. Switched to this and absolutely love it. Powerful and only run outta of mana a handful of times in deep fights where I spam, spam and spam. TY!!!

Got a level 70 druid, its okayyy. Just started a new character and chose sorc after being inspired by this video. Does this work well with eternal characters as well? I know we dont have the vamporic powers
Yes it will still be extremely powerful just focus on attack speed, mana cost reduction once you get those two stats high enough you will have blue balls for days :)
