Just a note: You don't use the vignette filter under the exposure tab to get rid of vignetting, you should use "vignette correction" at the bottom of the transform tab.
One just adds white or black pixels, the other blends more with the surrounding colors.

@@jacobswing - Only a pleasure. And thank you for the tutorials. There's very few people doing Rawtherapee tutorials, even though it's a great program.
I don't understand this software. Most of the settings I change have NO EFFECT at all, including the color toning you're doing at around the 3 minute mark, sharpeing, ect. NOTHING is changing no matter how far I slide the sliders. I used photoshop for years so I am familiar with editing but this linux software doesn't seem to work very well for me. I don't know whats going on...Only the exposure section on the first tab above the histogram responds for me, nothing else.
Thinking you hav either max'ed out your ph pic size or you hav a 1k + mob. The night detail 'on a ph' is amazing. 100% tut also

The graduated filter gives some control but right now that option doesnt exist that I know of. I usually edit for different exposures amd things like that and then combine them in gimp. Hope this helps :)
Jacob is there any chance you could do a short video on " Cropping in Raw Therapee" for an oldie....Slowly lol.

@@jacobswing went throu your video but unless i,m missing something how do you confirm the crop at the end
The crop is confirmed if the tool is on. Rawtherapee is a bit strange in that it does not "confirm" the crop until you process the photo. And even if you look in the processing tab, the photo will appear uncropped, however, if the crop tool is turned on and you can see the dotted lined crop boundary, whatever is inside that boundary will be processed as the final photo.
@@jacobswing Thank you very much for clearing that up, does seem to be a long and confusing way but perhaps Rawtherapee will update it in the future.

Do you notice that when you correct for a camera lens (via the default profile) that sharpness/clarity suffers - how do you correct for that?
I havent noticed that myself but you can always increase the sharpness. But i would zoom in to 1:1 just to make sure that quality is really suffering (im sure u already have but i thought i'd mention it just in case)
Hello, can you please tell me, how can I apply settings (saturation or hue) on single/specific color in picture?
Go to hsv Equalizer an change it to min max or so. However, this will give you the possibility to change the color for every color in the picture. Same applies for saturation and value.
Strangely I want to eat fried chicken after watching this video.
Was done with this video as soon as you said Instagram, these videos don't really help anyone that actually does photography not cell phone point and click pictures but real photography.
