    The tip about the piece of tape on the outside is pure gold, and the rest are just as valuable. Thank you sir!

    Good job. I have to reinstall my mirror because the mechanic put too much glue on it and I can't slide the mirror over the metal piece snaps. So, after watching your video I know exactly how to do it. Again thank you :-)

    The tape is a good idea. I've tried reinstalling my mirror 2 times with no success. I'll give it one more try...

    • @DIYwithWayne

      The tape does help but if you are having trouble with it not sticking, be sure you clean the windshield and the part that gets glued to it VERY well. Let it sit over night then try it. Good luck

    I just broke my rear view mirror down and you saved my life Wayne! You can really see your passion in the video for these projects. I would usually just watch the 5 second part where you showed where to find the glue but your welcoming personality had me watch all 8 minutes. I would never do that, you did it!!!!

    Thanks Wayne. How much do you scrape the back of the button? Mine looks like it has a film on there that is not easily removed. 🙏

    • @DIYwithWayne
      @DIYwithWayne  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on the film but I would get all I could off. The back needs to be very smooth because the glue is thin and won't fill any gaps you have. Good luck with your project and have a great day.

    I like the tips you offer in the process of the repair; they are insurance of doing it right the first time. The rearview mirror on my passenger side front door came out of it's frame. Do you have any tips on how to put it back in? I thought about using glue to put it back in but not sure.

    • @DIYwithWayne
      @DIYwithWayne  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have not performed that repair before. If I were you, I would go to a auto parts store and ask for what type of glue to use. They will most likely have been asked this question many times. Good luck with your project and have a great day.
