    One of the best mods I've done to my rig and wouldn't be without them now 👍😄

      how long have you had them and any issues?

      @@retaxed- 3+ Months - no issues at all! highly recommended 😁

      @@retaxed- sorry for not getting back sooner. I only have the two one front and the other under the seat and I fitted them at the start of last year. Not had any problems with them really other than every now and then Windows changes what it thinks the nobsound is normally after a update 🙄 wouldn't want to drive without them now and really notice when I've forgotten to them on.

    Just got this installed, loving it! However, confunsed now how I can get sound out of other speakers or headphones at the same time.

      Glad you are happy with them! So your base shakers should appear as a USB2.0 device and are configured using SimHub - then on windows audio just default to your speakers or headphones for the audio, don't select the base shakers on window. If that doesn't work let me know and I'll double check my settings!

    Will the neibours wonder whats happening when vibrations go through floor boards to next door? How do you connect the amp to your pc?

      no complaints, yet! 🤣

    As you mentioned budget, what would a premium one have that this don’t? Think this setup is awesome. Maybe the amplifier could be better????

    • @TechRacerTV
      @TechRacerTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Budget in terms of in comparison to the “off the shelf units” that cost £350+ and honestly don’t really offer anything more than this kit!

      @@TechRacerTV yes ur right your kit seems like it has it all.

    Ever since i had small motors on my old V3s i've always wanted some haptic feedback, this seems like a great and cheaper alternative to the butt kicker too. Do you find that it vibrates the floor a lot or is quite loud?

    • @TechRacerTV
      @TechRacerTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      I've had this same setup on a previous rig and been very happy both times! My rig is upstairs, when in the 'games room' it doesn't bother me, but if you are downstairs it can be a little loud. Simple solution is to raise the rig using feet or place rubber matting to stop it transferring the vibrations into the floor!

    Can the amp just be plugged straight from the audio out that is running my speakers like I would with a subwoofer or a second set of powered speakers?
    Or do they need specific setup to work?
    I was hoping just to use just one on under the seat for PS5.
    Thanks

    • @TechRacerTV
      @TechRacerTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! I’ve not tested the setup with a PS5 so can’t say for certain. It connects using USB rather than audio Jack cables, so without the SimHub software I can’t imagine the PS5 would be able to detect the device?
      If I had a PS5 I’d offer to test it for you! Hope you figure something out 👌🏼

      @@TechRacerTV thanks heaps for the reply, I didn’t know if it would work on the audio alone like a home theatre if I ran one from an amp with an audio input.
      Obviously won’t be as realistic as through sim hub but might ad something to the experience.
      I’ll let you know how it goes anyway, i might order one and give it a go

    I have these...bottom line... THE BEST MOD YOU CAN MAKE TO A SIM RIG in the 100-150 range...period. I now have 2 50w X 2 amps and 4 Shakers...2 BST-1 dayton audio and 2 more smaller dayton audio for shits n giggles. the 2 BST-1 should be minimum. One front and one rear/seat. I have one small directly on my brake pedal for slip/ABS of front wheels...priceless!

      Couldn't agree more! I'd had the same/similar setup on my previous rig with the pedal mounted versions but haven't got round to getting them again for this one! 😆
