U can follow nift arihant book, it's great for practicing maths for nift..
Math that you studied in 10th grade would be useful…basic algebra…profit and loss, compound interest and simple interest , distance and time …basics like that …we’ll soon be uploading a video explaining this

There’s no hostel for boys…most guys live in PGs or rent apartments…you can contact your seniors for it

Hey so am a FD student and i already have an ipad so do i also have to buy a laptop for certain software or just an iPad will do? Also my iPad's storage is a bit less . So what do you recommend??
See for first year a laptop is quite necessary
It doesn’t have to expensive but it has to be equipped with adobe softwares(photoshop,illustrator,inDesign) etc

We don’t know much about the NIFT Delhi hostel but we will let you know…I would suggest you to stay in the hostel atleast for the first year

You can get subscription to adobe software’s or get the cracked version …whatever your college allows

unfortunately, due to the pandemic the situation test wasn't held for us. Although, this year's question was about making a 3D model or a headgear. The topics were space, water and fire for the 3D model and chota bheem, harry potter and batman for the headgear. (you had to choose one)

Research more about it…doing a master’s course in your field would help you more…engineering and NIFT don’t go well together…NIFT does offer fashion management courses if you’re interested

I have also paid the admission fee.....and mailed them asking about the campus reporting time....they mailed back saying that you'll get reported via mail,website or portal.......have you tried mailing them?

2 I was like interested in FC but got TD in gandhinagar so is td a good course for future nd also tell about scopes....
I would suggest a laptop…and TD is a good course too since you can get into prints and fabrics…it’s the base for FD as well

You can also launch your own label
Plus there’s government jobs available too
So there’s alot of scope in general in design
