    We camped here a few months ago and it was a perfect two night stop as we crossed West Texas. Not much else to chose from!

    I remember going as a child back in the late ‘70s till the late ‘80s. Back then it was always full of people, the smell of barbecue and just seeing people having a good time. Then for almost 30 years I have never visited the park till yesterday. Yesterday I took my son and the park still looked the same. I was blasted with so many memories from my childhood and it sadden because the memories made with family from my childhood are no longer alive. It was time to make fresh ones with my son. It’s a nice family park.

    Growing up in Snyder I have many memories of C-City State Park. We've stayed at the cabins for our family vacation along with many boating trips on the lake. My most fondest memory is wakeboarding with my family and eating at the Sportsman's Lodge. I've spent many hours on this lake.

      It’s a beautiful park and great for boating. The cabins were really nice. It’s a great weekend getaway in West Texas.

    That looks like a pretty nice park. Loving those little cabins and I feel like that's really cheap for cabin rental. Great park tour!!

      Yes we thought the same thing. I talked to some locals and they said the park usually empty, but it’s Labor Day Weekend. I was surprised the cabins had AC, I’m used to seeing screen shelters. Thanks for stopping by and watching :-)

    Cool cacti! Love the footage with the pretty sky. Gorgeous lake..... Prices are quite reasonable. Cabins are so cute. Another one to go on our list! 😀

    That BBQ pit at the group dining hall was awesome. That's a lot of prickly pears, just seeing those makes me thirsty. Those cabins look nice, and the rates are good, just sad they won't accept dogs. That water looks refreshing, I want to just jump in. Thanks for sharing, y'all rock.

      This place is great for a family reunion. The Cabins are worth checking out and surprised how affordable they were. If you enjoy fishing, camping and water sports this place for you. Not much hiking at this park, but worth checking out. Thanks David for swinging by and commenting.

    Hello! Been watching some vids to plan our summer and I like your to the point style and bits of history. One bit that I would like to see on parks videos is a clearer idea of location. Maybe a quick shot on a full Texas map. I’m finding that East Texas and West Texas etc...can mean something totally different depending on who delivers info 🤪 thanks much will watch more!

    • @MrSTravelQuest
      @MrSTravelQuest  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think that's a great idea! Yes East and West Texas are very different. It would definitely help folks who aren't from Texas. Which parks are you interested in checking out?

    • @Kayakmom9
      @Kayakmom9 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think we are going to check out Huntsville and I have made reservations at a State Park on Waco Lake. We live in Fort Worth and all last summer went north into Oklahoma, but for spring we are going South. We bought rig mid summer last year.

      @@Kayakmom9 How’s Oklahoma? We are thinking of venturing out there during spring break to check out some parks outside of Texas. I love Fort Worth and DFW area. Have you been to Lake Mineral Wells? It’s a nice park near the DFW area. Mother Neff is a great camping park near Waco as well. Congratulations on getting a rig!
