- I worked on this cinematic short as my final year project for my university work for over three months, from pre-production to post-production, on my own.
What motivated me to make "Mecha King Ghidorah" as my major project? It's because no one has ever altered this character's design in CG over the past 31 years. Allow me to be the first to update this legendary character's design to fit the current "MonsterVerse" theme.

Maybe the robot version is smaller but made to be stronger? Having all the weakpoints reinforced, like the necks, tails, and "fingers".
considering its wingspan is 800ft and 521ft tall that room is probably a good halfmile across being just as tall and deep.

Also in the heisei era Mecha king Ghidorah was weaker so it means that monsterverse Ghidorah will be weaker because no regeneration it can get killed by Godzilla's atomic breath

This is fantastic and definitely what a monster verse mecha king Ghidorah could look like. It would be cool to see it with organic parts like the heisei one, but we all know why that technically wouldn't be possible bc his body was destroyed (burned, crushed, and exploded!)
I would like him to be this style with mechanical wings.
Well, because he reacted to the hollow earth energy, imagine if he was exposed to that, the grew organic parts around the metallic parts

@@lucasfraczek4320 it's my opinion though, especially after the American Godzilla literally strayed off from the '54 Godzilla origin into a nuclear captain planet and it's plot is kinda wacky and the only good in it is its CGI. Singular point and Shin Godzilla is the closest thing we have to the '54 Godzilla and have a better plot compared to the 2014, Kotm, and KvG

Originally, I thought this is what they had planned for the Monsterverse, because they only had one Ghidorah head. I knew that something “mecha” was coming, but I suppose the writers had Mechagodzilla in mind first.

man, I remember when I watched KOTM and, after seeing KG's severed head I thought... "bro, MKG is going to be the next MV villain", but nah, we ended up getting MG. This video kinda brings me back those sweet memories of a Mecha King Ghidorah making its entry in the Monsterverse.

Love the detail of Ren Serizawa still piloting it - you can hear him say "engaging uplink"
He has to be one spearheading Ghidorah's return. If you wanna destroy Godzilla, but your previous mech made in his image failed, of course you'd turn to the one other "alpha titan" who's proven capable of beating him. Ren could even team up with Jonah to find more Ghidorah skulls hidden around the world. They provide the resources & manpower, him the brains.
Nice try, but Godzilla will kill him. Why? because he would go at him fresh (unlike being 50% drained and with mecha-G plot armor just waaayyy to messed up and just BULLSHIT) and with Kong and other Titans just all coming together to literally rip this robot to pieces. And, Yes, it would be this way being that ghidora is the biggest evil piece of shit punk out there. YUP!!! people would just simply LOVE TO SEE GHIDORA ripped apart and destroyed AGAIN. Well, jonah supporting ren to make another anti-titan weapon doesn't make sense.
I mean, Jonah wanted titans to rule the world, and Ren wants exactly opposite.
@@himankgola In order for Jonah to get what he wants (a world ruled by titans, no humanity) the current alpha, Godzilla, would probs need to die. He's ushered in a new age of *coexistence* between man and titan, and it'll likely stay that way so long as the global collective (not isolated groups like Apex) don't do anything to piss him off
By using Mecha Ghidorah to supplant Godzilla, Jonah can finish what he started in KOTM and command all titans to wipe us out, this time without inadvertently destroying the planet
@@himankgola Jonah doesn't see Mecha-Ghidorah as another "anti titan weapon" like Mechagodzillla. He sees it as an *anti-Godzilla* weapon. The key to resuming the global genocide he orchestrated in KOTM but better, no longer tainted by Ghidorah"s secret agenda of ruining the planet.
@@darkhumour741 GvK exists. And we saw there that Godzilla can punish humans too.
And possibly, the true origin and intentions of ghidorah are known to everyone (we were shown in credits scene of KOTM that monarch releases its information to public, possibly including that of ghidorah). Hence, Jonah won't likely favour Ghidorah after knowing that he's gonna do worse than humanity.
Hence, it doesn't make much sense for Jonah to help someone in killing Godzilla.

Something id like to see:
Ghidorah inside of mechagodzilla starts to regenerate and ends uo destroying mecha because of this, cresting mecha king ghidorah, twi normal head and one thats conected to the mechanical head, his body is has fused with the mecha so his chest is broken necha parts that are actually a part of his body, his legs are completely mechanical, his missiles still work, and his arms are part of his wings now

Now he has three tails, his two normal ones and the mechanic one, allthough he has complete control of then three and the mechanic one can be used to stab because of the 3 knifes st the end

love the design, really going for the mechagodzilla monsterverse look with details similar to the classic older version
Technically this isn't Mecha King Ghidorah, as MKG is a cyborg with a vastly different look. This much more closely resembles Hyper Mecha King Ghidorah from Godzilla Island (tho HMKG still has organic tails).
Personally I don’t know about you guys, but I want a Godzilla movie where Godzilla and Kong fight a bunch of Mecha versions of the other monsters they fought in the past

Absolutely awesome looking, my only critique would be that the scale feels a bit off, he looks kinda human sized.
This Should be The Titan Introduced at the End of Godzilla X KONG.... then they Take everything to Space where Most Titans gets Mechanized for Godzilla and KONG to fight......... And Aslo MechaKing Ghidorah is supposed to Have more Skin on his Head and Neck to give him infinite Heads Regeneration..... This is the Titan i Kinda Saw in My Dream and Back on 1 of the Godzilla vs Games on GameCube in early 2000's

This is what everybody thought was going to happen in Godzilla vs Kong.
Morning I am just being a massive Kaiju nerd and I am basically just debating how powerful I think a fully mechanized Ghidorah would be I am basing it off of the perspective of the legendary universal or and physics as they currently stand during the time of my comment meaning that this could be changed later
To figure this out I'm going to start off by pointing out the power difference between mechagodzilla and Godzilla this will help because it'll give us a rough idea of what this would be like because Mecha ghidorah would be made with roughly the same technology but likely slightly improved upon
Mechagodzilla if you do the calculations at the moment scales around Continental while Godzilla on the other hand scales at around multi Continental
This is keeping in mind that mechagodzilla was made with some of Godzilla's weaknesses in mind and supposedly he still would not have been strong enough to defeat Godzilla
Now if we apply similar logic to a fully mechanized get Dora and then also take into account that his technology would be improved upon and he would have the combined consciousness of all three of ghidorah's heads dr. Ren as well as the supercomputer that mechagodzilla was running on at the time cuz that's already Cannon that mechagodzilla isn't Kevin
This means that a fully mechanized Ghidorah would likely scale top of Continental or bottom of multi Continental
This means he would likely be stronger than mechagodzilla but weaker than Godzilla at his current peak
Now Mecha Ghidorah might have a few weapons specifically meant to counter other monsters that are stronger than himself so please do keep that in mind
However I think the only way for Mecha Ghidorah to be at his full power would be if he still had some organic parts
Think about it the only creature as of right now that could actually defeat Godzilla songs Godzilla wastes a little bit of energy first is legendary Ghidorah because it's confirmed that legendary Godzilla is the strongest he's ever been in 2021 potentially stronger than they'd nerfed thermo-nuclear form that we saw (because canonically the thermal nuclear form would have been stronger but it was not and most of that power went into making Godzilla stronger permanently so long as he stays at full power)
this means that if you basically just mix and matched the mechanical organic parts of Ghidorah where it would be necessary to make him stronger and gave him the ability to hook himself up to an immense power source then a partially organic mechaghidora would be able to surpass the current Godzilla until he Powers up again and becomes even stronger
Keep in mind this is all in theory in my long-ass comment

Since Monsterverse have the rights to make more Godzilla series, people been saying in the comics Ren is indeed possessed by king ghidorah. So I am guessing king ghidorah will be the true main antagonist of the entire series of Monsterverse movies. I have a feeling mecha king ghidorah will be the last villain maybe he might bring in more powerful villains to help him like Orge, Billante, Space Godzilla, Gigan, and ladies and gentlemen, Destroyah himself. If he recruits all those most powerful and deadliest villains by his side then, Godzilla and King Kong need to recruit a lot of allies, I can see the humans making mecha monsters to aid Godzilla, King Kong, and the other monster allies. I just hope I get to see Kiryu, Mechagodzilla 2, Mogura, and Jet Jaguar
Really, this would have made more sense than Mechagodzilla given they were using a head of Ghidorah in it.
