i just beat xenoblade chronicles definitive edition. first time every playing the game. loved it. now grinding shulk on ultimate out of respect. this video has been super helpful. just subscribed : )
I've been fascinated with Shulk since Ultimate came out, and I always knew that if I was going to add a swordie to my repertoire, it was gonna be him. Great guide!
I started maining shulk as a secondary after I didn't have anyone to play cause my friends didn't have dlc. Now I'm thinking about making him my main instead of a secondary. Thanks for the guide!
Awesome video, subbed! I just suggest when going over "situational" combos (IE like you did w/speed art) to just demonstrate several of the most optimal combos, as opposed to many possible combos- that makes it way easier to digest for small brain like me :^(
By the way, the dial you get from holding B makes no sense. There’s this thing called dial storage where you activate it before the arts come out but then cancel it so the time still gets stored, and it also lets you cancel landing lag which lets you do some weird ass wavedashes.
I hope I am correct from remembering. Sorry if I am wrong. But a while back, I was wondering if you can Monado change during combo strings. I believe you can. Not sure. But it would help to gain more options in combos and situations.

Actually the bar decreases by how many times your hit with a hitbox it's not based on damage

i feel most comfortable in shield art, i use it offensively from time to time to punish long end lag on some moves
