Just want to point out some misinformation in this video and some misconceptions that can possibly throw some newer Shulk players in a rut. - _Both the "tap" and "scroll wheel" methods can give you i-frames, it's not exclusive to the "tap" method._ An indication for Shulk using i-frames is if you see him pose as his art activates and when you hear his voice shouting the art that was activated, but Shulk won't be able to have i-frames during a falling or hitstun animation. - While the scroll wheel sounds like it would function better on the ground and tapping your special would be faster in the air, the wheel can be much better to use most of the time both on ground or in the air since it can actually be twice as faster than waiting for your art to activate using the tap method if you're fast enough, while the tap method is better off for other situations. - _Speed art does not make his attacks faster._ With how fast he can dash, run, and walk in speed art it may seem like his attacks come out faster as well, but that isn't the case. - _Buster art does not lower his movement speed._ Most people think and feel like it does, but what people are really feeling is the increased hitstun Shulk's attacks have in Buster. - _Changing to Shield art right after getting hit from a single-hit attack that would kill you to prevent losing a stock is not ideal._ What you should do is switch to shield art before a single-hit attack connects to Shulk, switching to shield art is generally way better during a multi-hit attack.
Hey bro if you see this. Join my discord it's in the description of my newer videos. I'm planning on putting out a bunch of shulk guides this month and id move your help
I'm glad how these guides evolves! So far I really liked how you changed the timing and now there are matches in the background are REAL 1v1, but still using cpus for specific moments Looking foward for every guide!
I main shulk and he's always been my main character since smash 4 right next to sonic. Mastering the monado art usage and other advanced tech is what I need to learn #xenobladeforlife
I have a problem with accidently activating the shield monado art after getting blasted. This usually kills me because of the nerf to jump when using shield
For SO long I was a Shulk main but dropped him for Roy and made him one of my secondaries coz he was to complex lol. But after seeing this, I'm probably gonna start Shulk more so I can absolutely destroy coz, swapping between my Monado Arts wrong was my main problem
Some of the info was useful but the video itself is a bit rough. A lot of what is being said off screen is not being shown in the background video. Could use a bit more effort.
@@Kirusei that.... that is not correct, i expected more from you :^( dial storage is saving part of the dial start up (10 frames total) to use at a different time, so that the dial comes up quicker, opening the dial also replaces landing lag (think MALLC in smash 4). Dial flash is using a stored charge, like how you would with dial storage, but instead of switching arts, you simply close the dial. A frame perfect dial flash takes about half the time a frame perfect dial storage art switch does (frame 7 vs frame 13). (im not the best at explaining look at beefy smash dood's video on dial storage)

I know this for a fact, being a Shulk main myself, and I was going to point it out.

I'm really feeling it!!!
Shulk main here and I got a good rhythm going
Aight I've been summoned
Yes.
I'm pretty sure that buster does not reduce movement speed
Yeah buster doesn’t decrease movement speed.
Yeah it just makes you take more damage
This guide is wrong in major areas. In a couple of ways. The shulk discord already tore this apart.
RXXS shulk discord? 👀
Yo I’ve been trying to join but all the links are expired. Can you send the link?

« Shulk can KO at 50% at the ledge »
Shulk’s 15% kill confirm: hold my beer
I see you guys didn't speak to the Shulk mains before making this

There are one or two things that are wrong here. For example, Buster does NOT lower movement speed.
I have a problem with accidently activating the shield monado art after getting blasted. This usually kills me because of the nerf to jump when using shield
then switch arts again silly
@@banki0142 or cancel it 😂
Lol f smash can actually kill with smash arts at 18% if you charge it up all the way at the ledge
Yeah but were talking in game situations that really only happens in sheild breaks

Dial Flash, Dial Storage ?
Akyu Ackerman whats dial flash?
dial flash is just the flashing animation that appears for 10 frames of holding down neutral special before the art wheel pops up

This was a terrible video. Everytime you talked about something the video was showing something different
