    It's ironic that you posted this. I am actually about to go get the camper that was left on my mom's property and the bank repoed and abandoned after my mom and her husband passed. She passed in 2016 and her husband died in 2018. It's just been sitting under a shed for years and my wife and I are going to title it and clean it up. The repaint is a great idea! My wife will insist it be teal color, though. Everything we own is TEAL!!! AHHHHH! LOL

    I worked in a truck and trl paint repair shop for many years. I found out that painting the lower half first and then the top half after lends itself to an easier time of masking off the first painted area. You can set out your masking paper by tacking it as you unroll the paper. Then come back around and tape the paper to close it up completely. Also if you are stripping I always painted the stripe area first. Again this reduces the amount of tape and mask time and material. Paint your 2nd lower color next, mask and then paint the top color last.

      Stripping, as in removing, or striping, as in placing different colors of tape? I need clarification, please. Thank you.

      Judging from the context of the comment, I believe that the word would be "striping".

    Always nice to see and older trailer being restored and that's great because todays RV's haven't changed much in decades. Save a lot of $$ this way and with the housing shortage it's an affordable way to add living space.

    • @pcofranc
      @pcofranc 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you look at my channel, I have a review of a generic one, which I highly recommend because it made some improvements which make it easier to break down and clean, and I also have a video on fully breaking down the Wagner, even beyond the normal amount where you take The needle and spring and remove it because paint can build up in there. It’s important to practice and really understand some of the settings to get good results but if you do that you can shoot latex that comes out so nice it looks like it was sprayed from a can.
