    Doesn't like normal mirrors for when filtering. Adds bar end mirrors. :P

      Haha, you've got me there! I didn't like the stock ones, but after riding with none what so ever i realised it would be benefical to have something for quick checks etc. Therefore the small bar end mirrors are perfect!

      EvolutionMotovlogs sure it buddy 😂 spent the last 2 years on a CBR 125 2006 plate and because of its age I had nothing but problems for 2 years so finely saved the money for a 2017 MT picking it up tomorrow can't wait :D

    • @CallummanTwoNation
      @CallummanTwoNation 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is there anything you could tell me about the bike anything I need to look out for or keep an eye on ? My CBR used to be a pain on burning oil and petrol like no tomorrow due to a 11 year old carb I'm heard nothing but good things about the MT and yzf but went for the MT for something a bit different to my CBR

      Sorry for the delay response, just seen this. Common faults are: The swingarm is prone to rust near the chain cover, the shock absorber is prone to rust and the coolant pipes get corrode away easy! Other than that, just keep on top of maintenance/servicing and you'll have NO issues what so ever.

    • @EvolutionMotovlogs
      @EvolutionMotovlogs  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      My old videos on the RS50 was recorded with the Drift HD. Video quality was lower and I seemed to have an audio/stutter problem with my old edition software. As time goes on, I am always trying to enhance my editing/production values! :)

    i need your advice mate! im getting my first bike in about 2 Months and i cant decide between the yzf r125 2016 ,the mt 125 or this ktm rc 125 ,i just love the looks of the sport ones ,but i Think the mt might be much more comfy and Easier to drive.what is your opinion on That man? love your vids keep em coming

    • @EvolutionMotovlogs
      @EvolutionMotovlogs  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your spot on there! The RC125 and YZF-R125 are stunning motorbikes. Look much larger than a 125cc. But if you want something with a more chilled riding position and less fairings than the MT-125 or Duke is the way forward. Drop me a PM if you've got any other questions :).

    @EvolutionMotovlogs have you got anything on taking the tank cover off ? i need to replace one of my fake air intakes after i slipped out on crap on the road didn't damage the bike to bad but i'm just wondering how to take it off.

    • @EvolutionMotovlogs
      @EvolutionMotovlogs  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't, but it's really straightforward and self explanatory. Only small allen bolts if I remember :)

  • @kevintaylor9330
    @kevintaylor9330 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi mate. I have an 2016 MT125 and want to fit bar end mirrors. What did you use to get the original bar ends off? Do they just pull off? I ask cos the metal nut inside the end just looks circular. Cheers.

    • @EvolutionMotovlogs
      @EvolutionMotovlogs  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The bar ends are held in with 1 allen bolt.
      You'll need a very large Allen key to remove them, if you've got the right tool it takes all of 30 seconds.

    how hard was it to take off the plastic tank and the fake air intakes? I am thinking of installing one for my bike. Even my thickest winter gloves that can be annoying when using the signals still fails to keep my hands warm lol

    • @EvolutionMotovlogs
      @EvolutionMotovlogs  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The fairings are very easily removed, several bolts (alen key) and a nut for the fuel tank. You'll need a small socket for that one.. I agree, I don't like thick gloves for the fact I loose all feel off my clutch, throttle and such.

    • @T.K.9
      @T.K.9 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Okay thanks, I am gonna need to install one set. Its just way too cold when I go at speed.Literally even the bulky winter thermal gloves I use (Spada Enforcer) gets really cold inside with the early morning ride to work then going home at night. And damn this youtube google+ notification is replaced by this crappy youtube notification :( lol

      Interesting, have you been on a dyno before/after?

    • @derp872
      @derp872 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ive got the graphs somewhere but i remember my 2011 r125 got 12.8 peak RWHP with the full carbon akra race exhaust with the power commander zeroed. After tuning to get the AF ratio perfect i got 13.5 peak RWHP. It wasnt worth £300 for the power commander V. If you put a bigger Cam on the stock engine you would get more power but it wasnt worth it in my mind.
