A shower thought I've always had about aliens: "If aliens do exist out there, who's to say they aren't just as terrified at the thought of us existing as we are at the thought of them existing?"
There's a gazillion species on our own planet and only ONE that realizes other planets exist, and wondering if there's life on any of them. If there's life on other planets, who's to say they're even intelligent/evolved enough to wonder the same? Aliens are always depicted as humanoids and about equally smart or more advanced, but what if there's just a planet full of Earth's equivalent of goats or giraffes or some shit 😅

I'm not gonna lie when I say your voice is litteraly the only thing that makes me fall asleep. my whole life I have been a rough sleeper, i've tried oils, apps, meditation, diets, but they only thing that works is listening you a looped playlist of your videos.

For real tho, cause I'm doing the same exact thing. I always put his videos on to fall asleep. I also mean it as a compliment. He has a comforting, safe sounding voice! He also doesn't add obnoxious sound effects or have the music too loud so the audio levels are always perfect!
I am personally not a fan of romance movies/shows, and I had a realization about why, and I feel that it counts as a shower thought. Watching a romance film or show feels like I am being a creepy neighbor that spies on the couple next door, but instead I am using a window to pear through their fourth wall.

Discussed this with my phisics teacher already and you can make an antiflashlight but it will only work for a frequency set light in a controlled enviroment. You could theoretically make a room where you have two lights. If eighter one is powered on but the other isnt the room is illuminated but if both are powered on or both are inactive the room would be dark.
actually the real reason why you wake up after you die is not because your mind doesn’t know what death is like but when you die in a dream it sends adrenaline through your whole body which makes you wake up and if it is true that you wake up because you don’t know what death is like why EXACTLY as i am about to sleep my mind suddenly like alright time to fall makes me feel like i am falling which makes me COMPLETELY awake then gets really mad at itself
I actually dreamed of dying once and didn't wake up. I was riding one of those cart things down an mineshaft, and it was totally out of control, and I was heading towards a massive rock wall, and I knew, when I hit that wall, I'll be dead. Then I hit it, but I felt nothing, everything just exploded into a blinding bright light. Then the light gradually became weaker and smaller again, until I recognized it was a big bright hospital lamp, and I was a newborn.

On the teeth question, your brain doesn't care what your teeth taste like because it's too busy processing the feeling of your tongue on your teeth. I know this from firsthand experience. If I don't get enough sleep, I get migraines. My specific lot in life is to get COMPLEX migraines, which are the kind that make parts of my body go numb. Usually I lose one arm or the other and some part of my face. I lose no motor functions, just sensory perceptions. I'm also lucky enough to get blindspots, so I'm the fun kind of person who is driving down the interstate at 75mph, completely unable to see out my driver side window, oblivious to my side view mirror, blind to my speedometer, and unable to see my left hand - and my brain has no idea where my left arm is and can't feel anything from the shoulder down, so steering is completely based on muscle memory. One of the fun parts of losing feeling temporarily in parts of my face is that I lost feeling in my teeth a couple times. It's nothing like the dentist. I could feel my tongue, my gums, my lips, my cheeks, but my teeth were oblivious to the world. That's when I found out that yes, your teeth do indeed have a taste. They taste like teeth. It's difficult to explain otherwise without sounding like a crackhead so bear with me for a sec. Remember when you were a kid and you were losing your teeth? Maybe your parents forgot to keep up the tooth fairy charade and your tooth was still under your pillow in the morning. How many of you licked it? Remember the taste? That's what teeth taste like. And they taste the same when they're alive and well inside your head, they're just warmer. To those of you who didn't lick your severed skeletal fragments, I *know* you put one of those smooth pebbles in your mouth at LEAST once. It's similar to that taste, but more like skin. And when you can't feel your teeth and you run your tongue across them, it's an incredibly disturbing feeling - it feels like someone else's teeth are inside your mouth - and it tastes like... teeth. The only explanation I can come up with for this is that the touch signal the teeth send from being hit by the tongue overrides the taste signal the tongue sends from running across the teeth. But yeah, your teeth taste like teeth and your brain doesn't care as long as it can feel your teeth.
I came up with this ATLA theory while watching memes. It’s no shower thought, but it’s close Water benders freeze objects by bending them on a molecular level. Think about it. Heat scales off how fast particles move. When water benders boil water, they are making the water molecules move even faster. When they freeze something, they make the molecules slow down noticeably
That one at 3:00. Yes, I do remember that. Every New Years until 2019, I carried the hope that this year would be better than the previous year. And I got my expectations up only to be disappointed by the end of the year. After every year got progressively worse for about five years in a row, I was done. So at the end of 2019, I told myself I was going to keep my expectations so low I couldn’t possibly be disappointed. Then 2020 happened and I realized my expectations couldn't possibly have been low enough.

I had a feeling 2020 would be worse than 2019, based on the downward trend I had noticed, but I never could have predicted that it would be that bad. With COVID-19, the Asian Giant Hornets arriving in North America, the Australian wildfires, and several other notable tragedies, after a while, it seemed so absurd that it almost became funny, especially when I thought about what I had said to myself before that year started.

I died in a dream once and didn't wake up. It was terrifying. I was lucid dreaming and did it out of curiosity. It was the kind of lucid dream where I had complete control over everything, so I put myself in a white void, manifested a gun, and had it shoot me through the head. Blood and bits of skull and brain everywhere, tiny scraps of skin, just floating in the air, slowly drifting away from me as the gun sped off into the distance from the recoil. I lost all control. I couldn't wake up, I couldn't change the dream anymore, I couldn't even move my body or close my eyes. The only relief was that I still knew I was dreaming. I don't know how long I was actually like that, but it felt like I floated there dead for hours, trying to wake myself up and then eventually just trying not to think about it and wait it out. When I woke up it was the scrambly kind of waking up from a nightmare where I grabbed my head and stared at everything and flailed around just to prove that I could move again.
What if we get a radio wave spike from space and when you convert it to sound it says. "Be quiet, or else they'll find you." We would never make spacecraft again lmao

Discussed this with my phisics teacher already and you can make an antiflashlight but it will only work for a frequency set light in a controlled enviroment. You could theoretically make a room where you have two lights. If eighter one is powered on but the other isnt the room is illuminated but if both are powered on or both are inactive the room would be dark.

I actually dreamed of dying once and didn't wake up. I was riding one of those cart things down an mineshaft, and it was totally out of control, and I was heading towards a massive rock wall, and I knew, when I hit that wall, I'll be dead. Then I hit it, but I felt nothing, everything just exploded into a blinding bright light. Then the light gradually became weaker and smaller again, until I recognized it was a big bright hospital lamp, and I was a newborn.

I know this from firsthand experience.
If I don't get enough sleep, I get migraines. My specific lot in life is to get COMPLEX migraines, which are the kind that make parts of my body go numb. Usually I lose one arm or the other and some part of my face. I lose no motor functions, just sensory perceptions. I'm also lucky enough to get blindspots, so I'm the fun kind of person who is driving down the interstate at 75mph, completely unable to see out my driver side window, oblivious to my side view mirror, blind to my speedometer, and unable to see my left hand - and my brain has no idea where my left arm is and can't feel anything from the shoulder down, so steering is completely based on muscle memory.
One of the fun parts of losing feeling temporarily in parts of my face is that I lost feeling in my teeth a couple times. It's nothing like the dentist. I could feel my tongue, my gums, my lips, my cheeks, but my teeth were oblivious to the world.
That's when I found out that yes, your teeth do indeed have a taste. They taste like teeth. It's difficult to explain otherwise without sounding like a crackhead so bear with me for a sec.
Remember when you were a kid and you were losing your teeth? Maybe your parents forgot to keep up the tooth fairy charade and your tooth was still under your pillow in the morning. How many of you licked it? Remember the taste? That's what teeth taste like. And they taste the same when they're alive and well inside your head, they're just warmer.
To those of you who didn't lick your severed skeletal fragments, I *know* you put one of those smooth pebbles in your mouth at LEAST once. It's similar to that taste, but more like skin.
And when you can't feel your teeth and you run your tongue across them, it's an incredibly disturbing feeling - it feels like someone else's teeth are inside your mouth - and it tastes like... teeth.
The only explanation I can come up with for this is that the touch signal the teeth send from being hit by the tongue overrides the taste signal the tongue sends from running across the teeth. But yeah, your teeth taste like teeth and your brain doesn't care as long as it can feel your teeth.

Yes, I do remember that. Every New Years until 2019, I carried the hope that this year would be better than the previous year. And I got my expectations up only to be disappointed by the end of the year. After every year got progressively worse for about five years in a row, I was done. So at the end of 2019, I told myself I was going to keep my expectations so low I couldn’t possibly be disappointed. Then 2020 happened and I realized my expectations couldn't possibly have been low enough.

I died in a dream once and didn't wake up. It was terrifying. I was lucid dreaming and did it out of curiosity. It was the kind of lucid dream where I had complete control over everything, so I put myself in a white void, manifested a gun, and had it shoot me through the head. Blood and bits of skull and brain everywhere, tiny scraps of skin, just floating in the air, slowly drifting away from me as the gun sped off into the distance from the recoil. I lost all control. I couldn't wake up, I couldn't change the dream anymore, I couldn't even move my body or close my eyes. The only relief was that I still knew I was dreaming. I don't know how long I was actually like that, but it felt like I floated there dead for hours, trying to wake myself up and then eventually just trying not to think about it and wait it out. When I woke up it was the scrambly kind of waking up from a nightmare where I grabbed my head and stared at everything and flailed around just to prove that I could move again.

I stayed strong BC after so long of trying to go to anything else but god they all failed me so I held on to god as the reason let me skip to now and say I started off faithless now I'm so faithful in god I started off worried for my future now I know its something gods gonna handle I'm not feeling depressed anymore the whole year of 2022 was hard but with god I made it threw!
Now I learned so much and love my relationship with god I know he loves and cares for me AND HE LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU TOO! I remember I was depressed and believed god didn't love me or care for me but that what the devil telling me lies and I had so many demons but now its 2023 I'm free!💗💕 give god your life today he can do things unimaginable👑😇
