    Thank you so much for asking & it just shows just how kind I’m certain that you are for asking, “what’s up everybody?”, because it’s been a long hard week already and it’s only Tuesday can you imagine that but since you asked, “what’s up everybody?” I will certainly tell you that things could be better but then they could be worse also and isn’t that always the case with life ha ha no matter what’s happening it could always be worse and no matter what is happening it could always be better, although there was one time, in fact actually there’s been a few times in my life where when somebody ask me “what’s up everybody?” I could actually tell him that things couldn’t be better, “what’s up everybody?” is that things are going so well but then I stop and think you know I suppose something else great could happen and things could even be better so to answer your question “what’s up everybody?, I’ll begin by saying things are actually looking up kind of like Paul McCartney wrote that “everything is looking better” and then the severely negative John Lennon wrote, “couldn’t get much worse“, which means obviously that Paul McCartney was an optimist and John Lennon was a pessimist and we all certainly all know that therefore if you were to ask them “what’s up everybody?” considering they are two people which certainly fills out the definition of guys plural, they would say what they said in that song which they wrote many songs in their career but can you believe they only wrote Beatle songs or actually all the Beatles songs they wrote were before they were 30 years old which really is astonishing therefore if you were to ask them “what’s up everybody?” they would have been all over the road from the beginning to the end of the Beatles career yet you ask me “what’s up everybody?” and I can tell you that things are looking pretty good, I’ll come back later to finish answering your question but thank you so much for asking that question.

    Honestly, i got a charbroil infrared grill a few years ago and love it. No flares, cooks great, side burner with a cast iron griddle. I love it, half the price of a weber. When we go on vacation, they have webers that get eaten by the salt spray...and are usually dirty. One of the first things i do after unpacking and setting up is check that grill and gas...and burn it off.

      Wasn’t a bad little grill for sure.

    Thank you CJ, I have also always only used charcoal and even though i have cooked so many steaks in my life I was nervous to try on a propane grill, I just got my first one! I will be trying this method as the results you gleaned looked perfect. I am happy to subscribe to your wonderful channel.

    Great cookout brother, question, did you close the grill to get that indirect heat on the steaks? Or was the heat from the side enough?

    • @CookingWithCJ
      @CookingWithCJ  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks! Yeah I closed it down on the indirect cooking.

    What temperature was the grill and how long did they cook before the final sear?

    • @CookingWithCJ
      @CookingWithCJ  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Burners were on medium. I cook the steaks indirectly until the hit around 100f, then sear them for a min or so on each side. Usually gets it right to med rare.

    So how long did you cook the steaks my friend?

    • @CookingWithCJ
      @CookingWithCJ  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Took about 20-25 min. Time for them to come up to temp before searing.

  • @HJeff
    @HJeff 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I like how the grill marks aren’t burned and black like every other video. Just curious, how much higher does the internal temperature go during searing?
