- We wish all our friends a peaceful christmas. We just returned from our trip to the US where we shot this video in New York with our friends Mariano Wainsztein and Vassilli Katehis.

Schubert’s “Ave Maria” is one of the most beautiful of all vocal works. A competent rendition is enough to bring tears to anyone’s eyes...and this one did just that.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

This is the original version from Franz Schubert. The Latin version was a later invention to use the traditional text of the "hail Mary full of grace".

I am not quite sure it would fit his voice: He certainly has the range, but it was written for Farinelli, a soprano castrato, while he has often been compared to Senesino, even by himself. It would certainly be interesting to hear though.
