i havent played magic in a few months but this video and the educationally-driven commentary inspired me to update Arena, enter a Tinkerer's cube draft, and punt it thoroughly. unironically love it
Its really fun to have the commentating on the playing, though I also love the current style used in 1v1 content, where the players have their banter and its more clear to see what's going on. I know it goes against the idea of a cube where you have interesting rare promos and special art cards, but for a video (and for cube newcomers) it really helps to use the basic original art as much as possible, so everyone can clearly see what's going on. Having all the players go a little more into their decks and how they designed it is a fun aspect that can be explored a little bit more. One of the most fun aspects is the draft, where you design some kind of fun deck. (even though it doesn't always work out) Loved the video and thanks for pointing me to it, Ill keep my fingers crossed for a future potential cube video.
that was really fun to watch ^_^ i hope you repeat it some day, esp. with older videos not receiving so much attention i think its worth to try older ideas with the new viewerbase :D cheers
We often use this video as an example of why we shouldn't do draft videos, but maybe it's time to revisit the concept :) who knows, maybe it would be successful now
This was absolutely awesome and needs to get enough love that you guys'll do it again. Also, legacy cube is underrated and had some super fun gameplay. Mengu's deck was the most boring of the four though
That was fun.. (Vintage Cube would have been even more awesome, Proxies for Power etc maybe?) Did they mention who finally won (3-0)? I would guess Arne...
noooo. I so wanted her to notice that equipping the Fervent Champ was free. If she just casts sword, grim lavamancer the treespeaker, equips and connects with the fervent champion, not only might she mill the craterhoof, but she has the faster clock on board. Damn Love the cube coverage. Late to the party, but MOAR please
Vintage Cube is the pinnacle of magic imo and legacy cube is pretty close. I would love more cube content. It looked like red was super open this draft as well, Laelia wheeling is a big signal and there were tons of other good red cards late.
Sad that the length stopped this video from catching on. I'd love to see you guys do this again. Maybe split it into multiple videos so people aren't put off by the length
Definitely enjoyed this type of video, The only thing I think that could be improved is actually having a camera on the player's hands to see what's in their hand. Other than that I thought it was really well done
A few years ago someone ordered a judge reward Spellseeker from me on cardmarket and had it shipped to the cardmarket headquarters. Seeing a judge reward Spellseeker now making its rounds in this cube draft I can't help but wonder if that is where it ended up.
We talk about this with Andrea a lot. This video took 3 times as much time as our other videos and cost 3 times more, but got half as much views as the other content we did at the time :/ we love drafting and would like to do another cube of regular drafting video but we cannot commit that kind of resources to something most people don't want
Her only way out would be to use the Lavamancer's ability while the Cratterhoof's ability is on the stack to kill the flyer. I believe that would give her anothe turn. Then she would have to wait to see if Andrea missplayed and didn't use Garruk´s ability on the Cratterhoof.
Hey, Jamin, why is it called a cube? Does it have 6 sides or something? What would it mean to participate in a pyramid draft? What about a octahedron draft? *Gasp* oh my.... What about a dodecahedron draft?!?
If you want to reach Jamin, you should write us on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. TH-cam comments reach me (Carl). To which I answer that a dodecahedeon draft is a draft where you start with a pile of 45 cards and gradually, card per card, neatly add them in order of rarity into little booster packs that you pass around a table and seal in the end.
You can find Andrea's deck here: bit.ly/3NOAkUj
More cube please! And what a blinged out peace of work. :D
Awesome coverage of a draft! Best way to watch a paper draft
Couldn't agree more!

Glad we inspired you!

Each card in that cube is more expensive than my ENTIRE cube haha
I love this video, great tips for drafting from Andrea, that cube looks amazing, more cube content pleaaaseeee
This was super nice to watch. Love the commentary and real paper magic! More!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This was so fun to watch, can you guys do another one?

Live cube coverage 😍 More of this please!
Let'see!
I always wanted to learn more about how to play and build cubes.
This was absolutely awesome and needs to get enough love that you guys'll do it again. Also, legacy cube is underrated and had some super fun gameplay. Mengu's deck was the most boring of the four though
Thanks!
excellent video! would love to see more cube coverage
Noted!
Yeah. We built our own Vintage Cube with our playgroup during Corona and since that we are addicted to Cube Drafting.
wow great job with the production
That was fun.. (Vintage Cube would have been even more awesome, Proxies for Power etc maybe?)
Did they mention who finally won (3-0)? I would guess Arne...
Great video. Please do more cube
This is great cube content. Thank you!
You're very welcome!
So much fun ✌🏼
Always!
Is there a deck list for the whole cube?
Damn, the power of the player at the table is so high

Came here to say exactly this. Yamin and Harry didn’t seem to realize that either

Such a long video, nice for the weekend ay ;)
It could be nice to see some play with a budget cube too. Awesome video!
Great suggestion!

46:08 Carl frozen in terror to face Andrea. Doesn't seem too far from normal to me.
LoL JK, love ya Carl ❤
Definitely enjoyed this type of video, The only thing I think that could be improved is actually having a camera on the player's hands to see what's in their hand. Other than that I thought it was really well done
I've never drafted before but this looks quite interesting. High enough power that would keep me interested

It's highly possible that that is indeed your spellseeker! :O
yesss cube draft lets goooooooooooo
is there a list of the cube? maybe even on cubecobra? :)
This is the current cube:
cubecobra.com/cube/list/11ww
But it might have changed quite a but since then ;)
@@CardmarketMagic thanks!
GO ARNE!!!!
Awesome video
Is there a cube list somewhere?
#MenguCube let's go!
Yall should do this more.

@@CardmarketMagic that makes sense. Also thank you guys for replying. Huge fan of the content.
@@Obsidianandstone thank you! :D
Also fave archetype is wild wacky combo a la Caleb Gannon 😁💯
Lets goooo
Game three hoof gives +5/+5 (it sees it selve and 4 Others creatures) so it would be 24 dmg

No link to cube list? 😢
Can we have the cube list please 🥺.
Damn look at all that bling in the cube. You could probably buy a car for that.

More cube. More mengucci.

Really interesting content; hope to see more in the future.
