This is cool to watch as someone that joined magic around 2016-17. I built my first cube this year, and the difference in card choice/power is staggering! Loved to see it.
How can you cut away from Reid's cards? I absolutely love that you are showing a draft, but why cut away at least two or three times from us seeing his pick and possible picks? I don't need to see the back of Luis Scott Vargas head.
@wizardsmtg I really enjoy your videos guys, but a good amount of your videos have really low volume i have to set the volume all the way up just to hear the video. Great job on the production guys.
This is a difficult format to follow as a beginner, especially for a cube draft. You did not give a side-reel highlight to all of the cards, esp. at start. I would also love to have these drafts in playlists with vids of them actually playing. Poor organization.
Wish they ran this back now that Magic Online is more popular (bc of Covid19) but they’re too lame to do anything that isn’t Arena. Also, Reid should have first picked the Underground Sea
"Do you know who'll be drafting?" "I'm not sure, I was busy running from one place to the other" Was the Wizards R&D department in charge of this event?
Between the multiple times they focused on Reid's face rather than the packs while he was drafting and Zac and Marshall being the most horrible coverage team ever, this is pretty much unwatchable.
Hey Wizards, make sure you do another one of these in the future. Much more interesting than usual drafts

Imagine someone who built one this year, jesus
Please do more pro cube drafts Wizards
I might be in the minority here, but I miss Zac Hill. Always liked his upbeat commentary.
Zac Hill is the Voice of Magic for me
Now, this is Magic
Watching this back 11 years later, Zac really knew his stuff and I'm shocked at how Reid chose his cards!
This has gotta be my favourite tournament of all time.
they should do this again but with better production value
agreed
Man this shit brings back memories, really helped me build my cube
I actually really wish I could get another one of these
Please show more drafts when you can. Sooooo interesting.
Finkle is thinking, "I remember playing Tinker"
Cube meta has changed a lot since then
So much! Archetypes aren’t entirely different but the cards are much better. It’s a crazy difference.
Cube meta has changed a lot since this person commented this
Why did Reid not take any fixing early on :(
This looks so fun
surprisingly, drafts help me learn a lot of the game
thanks guys. Great job Rich and Rashad!!!
Yeah would love to see them play it out as well =/
I wish I could draft that cube. So awesome.
Why are these videos always so quiet, please start turning up the volume.
Finkel was trying to build his Worlds' deck.
The commentary volume on some of these videos is so low.
That sutcliffe glow up
Guys... push the sound up seriously.
way to go pall
making our self look smart and all
first time looking at it
am i supposed to get it from the first glance?
Why just show Reid drafting without later showing his deck in action? Did he get thrashed or something?
awesome. thanks for bringing up the cards eventually :)

Where is the card list for this cube?
Cube drafting is awesome. Just wish the camera was only on the packs and never focused on faces or from the other side of the room.
idk if you can help it but plz make the volume louder here on out or add subs. Keep posting drafts they are awsome.
idk if you guys realized the pun but he says " stay out of blue, despise " and look at the card to the right
marshall looks exhausted
@wizardsmtg I really enjoy your videos guys, but a good amount of your videos have really low volume i have to set the volume all the way up just to hear the video.
Great job on the production guys.
its weird but for a moment i thought this was uploaded a day after today (it's 29th of august 2013 today)
great video, but you guys really need to work on your volume control. Most of the videos i have seen are soo quiet.
Awesome!

anyone knows what kind of sleeves are being used?
search for "2012 Players Championship: Round 1"
i have to agree with you. they never have good sound quality. everything else is great though.
"Do you know who'll be drafting?"
"I'm not sure, I was busy running from one place to the other"
Was the Wizards R&D department in charge of this event?
VOLUME!!! PLEASE!
Difference between regular draft and cube draft?
@Caabooose It was a Liliana Vess not a Liliana OTDR.... Why don't you listen to what they say before criticizing them for not saying something???
wheres the follow up videos?
I apolagise but i confused draft with sealed pack, they only get the cards they picked
Stuff like this, Magic is actually going big like poker. Thousands of dollars on the table there.
the sound is always really soft
yea, i think it's 40k for first per pro events
do they get to keep those cards?
Lol marshall looks a bit rough
Dylan Kirkpatrick Marshall looks like creepy Rudy lmao.
How many cards are in this cube? Sorry if they said it in the video, if so I missed it. Thanks
Is there a rule that when you become a pro you have to constantly fiddle with your cards like a Wang?
I have all volume controls maxed out, I am wearing an earplug and I can't hear one damn word.
@25:30, they say he snags the parallax wave, but it looks to me like he took forbid.
damn that awesome
I later corrected this coment saying i had mistaken Draft with sealed pack. They only get the cards they pick
:O Young marshall sutcliffe not in his suit is so cute
Will the matches of this draft be uploaded on youtube?
He went 1 and 15 overall.
Have you already uploaded the matches for this draft or you are going too?
This is a phantom event, just like online? or do the players keep the cards after?
Yeah they get all the cards they pull
drafts way more interested than constructed
God this audio is terribly quiet...
he looks suprised in every pack
this goes 2 fast for me, do you have any videos that go slower? I'm just learning :D
You never keep the cards in Cube. They always go back into the cardpool so that your playgroup can keep having Cube drafts. lol
this game looks wierd
how is it played??!
They gotta have a talk with there camera guy....
Super fail at 6:20.
What sleeves are they using? Are these standard ultra pro?
Yeah those are amazing cards for such terrible sleeves
Do you get to keep the cards?
+TheDan Channel unfortunately not..
+TheDan Channel Probably not.
you can on cockatrice and tappedout
Hence why you weren't at that event.
he didn't take parallax wave he took forbid
He was so greidy
Are you sure? I don't think so. I mean balance is propably worth as much as the prize pool xD
WHY ALWAYS SUCH FUCKING LOW VOLUME
you, at mtg, should have a better sound
Thx for showing - but PLEASE show the DRAFT and not some random faces....
should have picked Elesh Norn
You don't get to keep stuff from cube... so that would be pointless
Why the fuck does Marshall look like Rudy in the first few seconds.
24 minutes in they forget to add in that Lillian of the dark realms can grab his scrubland, or any swamp to help lol /sigh
they're so stoned
I was kidding
is easy to learn but you have to play to understand
Is just for smart people
balance is a 1.50$
Thrashed is an understatement. Thankfully he made up for it by "thrashing" the entire next year, right?
Between the multiple times they focused on Reid's face rather than the packs while he was drafting and Zac and Marshall being the most horrible coverage team ever, this is pretty much unwatchable.
Maybe if you are just learning you should watch a more beginner friendly format, cube is a little complex. try standard matches.
29:30 i bet they have exalted.
unwatchable with this sound. :/
Vizicate
i was kidding XD
Sound sucks
Markus looks dead lmao
yeah that was making me cringe as well
