    Thank you for this! I just bought a used one, same exact model, but all black. I was looking for a tutorial video to show me everything so I could get more familiar with all of the features. Your video quality is exceptional and really clear. Your audio was mostly great except for when you weren't close to the mic, but I could still hear you. Great job Mike!

    That is cool you do not need a power seat to raise the height. My wife needs a cushion now in her vehicle since her non power seat does not change height.

    Just bought my first Toyota on Friday. 2017 RAV4 XLE AWD. Metallic Currant. Awesome machine. Nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Highly recommend! This must be the base model because my XLE has everything (except leather and PB start)
    Great review! Thanks🙂

    Thanks for the video. The RAV4 is quite a good vehicle for its price. I bought one for my niece last week. I drove her Rav 4 today to check it out. It has a few new features than my Porsche Cayenne S. The new Toyota safety sense is pretty good. I need to learn how to use it so, I could show my niece the actual function. Question for anyone who can help?! I heard a few beep sound 🔊 whenever I exit from the freeway and I hear the few beep sound when I merge into a lane. Not sure what the beep for.. can't explain it Tommy niece yet. As she is not really into car. Drive and use it for transportation type of gal. 🤣 🦅🦅🇺🇸
    The new Rav 4 is pretty quiet, improved over the 2014 model.

    • @MikesCarInfo
      @MikesCarInfo  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Does it still beep when you use your turn signal?
      If not then it could be the 'Lane Departure Alert' (LDA) system.

    • @AlisaAllen29
      @AlisaAllen29 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Frank Kwok It's the lane departure warning . Mine does it if you don't have your turn signal on when you get off the interstate and of course if you go across the lines on the road.

    Nice in-depth review Mike....Why does this vehicle's interior look like it was cheaply made? Plastic everywhere... Looks like a typical toy car.

    • @MikesCarInfo
      @MikesCarInfo  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks :)
      Regarding the plastic interior: I get this type of comment frequently and it is perplexing to me. Modern vehicles have plastic interiors... all of them. So it is interesting to hear that the standard some people have for "cheap" is the sight of plastic. I filmed a Porsche, Masarati, Jaguar and other expensive vehicles and they all had plastic interiors. Some have soft plastic over hard plastic or different looking plastic but it's plastic. Plastic is a great material for vehicles because it can be made to withstand extreme temperatures, direct sun exposure for years, extremely durable, lightweight, impervious to water/mold/corrosion, easy to clean, and most importantly it can be flexible and have a predictable contour during a collision making the car safer.

      Thanks for the reply :)
      I've been considering getting a new vehicle.
      I guess the multiple video frames of smooth, shiny, "Made in China" kind of hard plastic look are what made me concerned.... The entire backseat door? All plastic, not even a bit of wood, chrome or fabric. It's like they didn't even try to design anything in there, given the price range. Also, the gas cap shouldn't really exist at this point (more plastic there). In this day and age, "capless" gas tanks are out there as standard.... I drive an older SUV (2004 base model Chevy) and it is not that "plasticky." Remember, a new car has to be appealing for it to be bought. However, I think I'll have to go out there and see each vehicle I have in mind for myself.
