I appreciate the comparisons because I was actually going back and forth trying to decide if I really wanted to go a flagship route. Very helpful. I picked up the 53 5g for $350 off Amazon. Love it. It's a fun phone.
A lot of people buy the S22 Ultra because they have to have the "best" phone. I purchased the A53 because I couldn't justify the extra $600 for the S22 Ultra. The A53 is a great phone, huge battery, excellent display, photos are crisp, plus it has a slot for SD card which I took out of my old phone and put in this phone so I have everything that was on the old phone.
Would have been nice to have at least used the phones to show some real world difference. Reading off the spec sheet and running benchmarks tells me nothing
Buying the a53 tomorrow morning. I get it for $200 through boost upgrade. I only do music and social media stuff and some pictures. Haven't had a flagship in years.
@@nanamikento4205 who cares about updates when the original software on the flagship is better than the midrange. And not only that, has better processor, and cameras. The only advantages of a new mid range phone is battery life. But if you get a battery replacement which is cheap on old.flagships, you have the better device overall. Software updates usually are just bug fixes anyway and hardly introduce new features. And even if they do its probably bringing a feature the flagship already had.
But the cameras are going to be a lot better on the s22 ultra and I'm into photography so that's why I bought the s22 ultra and I do not regret it it's a very nice phone

Liked your video a lot. Thanks for sharing. I had the s22 ultra loved the phone. But did have issues with battery life and other issues. For sure fill it's way over priced for what u get. I got the s53 last night that I will set up today. Honestly already am happy about my choice. Thank u for sharing.
I believe the A53 5G has everything you would want specwise (with the exception of a built in Stylus) in that $450 price range. As a consumer? you can spend over a $1,000 for several Devices, but I don't see why you should (especially with the economy right now). I enjoyed the comparisons between these two Samsung Devices.
Not the same cameras... Nowhere close ..this is a reality... Real estate of screen size is substantial as wellanothee factor on too if performance...but ...4 those that want spent less money is probably an interesting option.
As a person who went from an s8 to the 53 5g phone...the 53 Lagos so much and gps stalls constantly. It may be a decent phone coming from a low range phone but don't go from flagship to this.
OK 1st, if you're someone interested in the s22 ultra you already know you're gonna pay a premium price & the a53 is just not a comparable phone if you're looking for the features of the s22 ultra. Likewise if you're looking for a good midrange phone you're not likely to be looking at the s22 ultra. Plus your carrier is more likely to offer incentives in the way of a couple hundred dollars off to get you to upgrade. Not on a midrange already less than half the price. 2nd you said the s22 ultra goes to 512 storage & at another point said its storage is not expandable but it's expandable from 128g up to 1tb & ram of or 8 or 12g. Finally you keep saying it has the s pen even though it's not a note but it is, samsung took the body & all the high end functions of the note and added the the upgraded camera from the s ultra and now call it the s22 ultra so you don't have to pick between them. It's definitely the note though with the ultra camera. The a53 is a very good midrange phone but not comparable to the s22 ultra.
I dont even know how to use my A32 5g fully and it was only 170.00. I know its a waste of money to buy a flagship at least or me. Its so hard to retain and utilize all the features.

It is fair. They aren't thiny of the a53 cause they don't know about it. Older people go for the flagship cause the want a really good phone, but they dont even game or anything. So the a53 would be a better choice for those people, and theres a lot of people like that

Kinda amazes me that people buy budget phones instead of refurbished flagship phones. For the same 200 you could get a Note 9/S9+/S10.
