Thank you very much. Finally a video that is easy for beginners. I'm 67 and retired and decided to start modeling again. I learned quickly that its not paint by numbers as in the 60's. A have a few visions in my head but didn't know how to properly execute it until your video. I'm just learning about washes, pigments, resin, modpodge. Now I can give it a try with confidence. Thanks

i watched this after i finished watching a crude model making video from india. the difference is like night and day. it's amazing what technology can do to elevate your skill. your technic is meticulous
Smugglers Cove model scenery layout by Geoff Nott Mike Flack has some of the model best water I have seen. The river craft are also totally top notch. The trick with the 2 part resins is to go a step above in the source chain for a better deal. That stuff is deadly expensive at the best of times. There is another single part silicon way to do water thats very cheap. A sort of Hillbilly Bunnings method.
This popped up in my recommendations and I am so happy it did! The whole video left me in awe of your talent! It was amazing seeing the whole transformation. I found it oddly relaxing to watch it all being put together. You have earned a new subscriber :)

The color used to frame the edge of the scene really finalizes it. Look like you went to some miniature world and cut out a piece of it with a knife! The details!
My goodness, this is utterly stunning! The effects you achieve with your techniques are amazing, especially with your river and the ripple effects. Those banks with the roots look amazing as well!
