The audio should be fixed now! I was having some technical difficulties this morning lol BUT we are on to our next adventure, friends!
Well done Libby what an achievement I have to say it took me nearly 40 years to get rid of my saved clothes , photos and memory items from my fiancé who ended his life at the age of 20 I m now 64 and it’s been a slow process be very proud of yourself for how far you’ve come ❤️😁🇬🇧
so sorry about the years of pain that you had to endure from your fiance's suicide.I am happy for you that after 40 years you went thru his things take care
So sorry about your loss 🙏 Such a great job to let go of things. I am struggling with it but trying to make progress to declutter items of decades ago. I feel it's time to let go but it ain't easy
At 15:44,an entire box of your son’s father’s clothes, why would you keep them, especially since he didn’t care to be in your son’s life? Maybe if you can talk through this thought process for our benefit and yours,it would help? You are going forward to build a new life for you and your son,in a small apartment, we know that you don’t want to waste money on another storage unit and you certainly don’t want to crowd your new nest with boxes that just fester old wounds. Since you mentioned that you go to therapy, please address this issue with your therapist.( Even keeping the suit worn to two funerals, what a sad “keepsake”, maybe because you also lost your dad and wish you had more time with him,so you wish you at least had more of his stuff?). You are so sweet and we all want the BEST for you!❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
Congrats on the apartment. Would love to see a series of you decorating and decluttering as you move in 😊
Oh, absolutely!! Theres still so much to do 🫠
I actually clapped for you when you spun around the empty storage unit! Good job!
You are too kind!! ❤️
Hi, a word of advise, if you don't mind? If you have any furniture where you are at, and want to keep, please don't buy anything until you have finished decclutering what you no longer need at your new place. Ideal would've been if you did not take any of his stuff (ex) to begin a new life with your son, but it is what it is. Know that the more you keep on holding to the past, the less chances you get to begin a new life with someone who is worthy of you. You are a beautiful woman I'm sure inside out. All you need is for people to see the beauty you hold within and bring it out. The right deserving guy will see it and will want to help you shine. You are beginning to shine but still have to work to get the best of you out. Until then, live the present, enjoy every moment of your life with your son. Cherish your mom, she is awesome and be greatful of everything God has given you. Get ready to receive the best the Lord has instire for you.
You are doing a great job decluttering. Sentimental items are hard to declutter and you have done a boatload of emotional work!! ❤️ so proud of you for heavy lifting.
Thank you Libby for letting us be part of your healing journey.
I was watching you opening another box of clothes and I thought : these clothes are neatly packed, but what for ? When you put them away in these boxes years ago, you didn't know it would be such a chore to go through them again, only to declutter the biggest part of them. Sometimes we keep things not knowing we should make the decision now, instead of making things more difficult for us in the future.
You can be proud of yourself, because you accomplished a lot ! And I'm happy for you for the new place, even if it's not big. At least you'll have a roof over your head, it must be a relief.
You get comfort in the memories not the things great you figured it out also giving items to those who really need help makes you feel like a wonderful person that you really are😊
I totally understand holding on to your sons fathers things. But I would suggest talking to your therapist about it? Dig into those thoughts. Is it good for you? I have been through a similar situation I decided to keep one item only for each of my kids and myself which I will give to them when they are grown if if that seems appropriate in the future. They have a few things they know are from him like a stuffy. I am allowing one or two reminders because it is apart of our story but I am carful to keep my reminders (bad) to a minimum. Unfortunately bad memories are always such big dominating thoughts! Hoping to not think about this everyday! It holds me back. Materially I think I have made a good decision. Next step is to put restrictions on my thoughts. But yes like you said..I do obsess with remembering so it never happens again. Would love to hear more from you on this topic if your comfortable sharing
Hooray! Love seeing the empty storage unit! I'm so glad to hear you have an apartment lined up! :)
It was so cool to see it empty! On to the apartment ❤️
Congratulations! I like the money going into your pocket! Sometimes we just have to do what we have to do - time doesn't allow us to be gentle and nurturing with ourselves - time jumps up and down and yells and tells us to get a move on - so I'm very happy you brought along a support team to help you through.
How exciting you got this finished AND a new apartment 💜
I see you keeping a lot of stuff because you know it, not because you like it or want it or it has value to you.
I think if you can tell yourself that this is a bad reason not to let it go, you can make big progress! Would love to see you with this mindset go through the stuff again, being realistic about your new flats size and wanting the easiness of not having to manage clutter all the time. Sure you can use it sometimes, but someone else can too! This all is robbing your energy..
Just subscribed! I’ve been watching your videos all afternoon. Single mom closing on my first house in 10 days. ADHD, depression and anxiety, also. Seeing you accomplish these tasks has reminded me to take it one step at a time and it WILL get done❤
Great work on following through to completion. Congratulations on your new apartment. This will be a great chance for to envision what you want your new space and new life to be like and keep only what will bring you closer to that goal. From your first storage unit declutter video to the last, there is a change in your demeanour. It feels like you are processing a lot of the grief and trauma. Have you heard of trauma bonds? I think sometimes we can create trauma bonds with items. Working through the trauma can help us release the items. But also, releasing the items can help us release the trauma. I am so happy for your progress.
This is so healing to watch as a mom struggling with trauma and hoarding thank you for making these videos
It is my absolute pleasure.❤️ thank you for being here+
You're doing a fantastic job! You've built up your decluttering muscles and they're getting stronger. Have a wonderful week!
Congrats on finding an apartment!!!! That's a great feeling right? You're going to create a warm, cozy, happy home for you and your son. A brand new day! Yay!!!!!!
Yay, Libby! How fantastic to be of an expensive unit. I'm so happy to hear you found an apartment. Small or not, it'll be yours and you and your kiddo can settle in and hopefully find some contentment and peace. Can't wait to see your next video.
I heard you say one bedroom apartment and my daughter and I were also in a one bedroom apartment for 4 years. I had a dinning room area that I put a curtain up and made my room and gave my daughter the bedroom. Not sure if that’s an option but if you are looking at units as you said and get to pick one like that, it’s just an idea. Congrats on getting one! Big step.
I am thrilled that you will have a place to live in and that you go your storage unit cleared out. You’ll probably have to get rid of more stuff, but I know you can do it❣️❣️
Libby so proud of you & my oh my what an inspiration you are to us! I am siting here in my recliner with a painful torn hip & bursitis on it ,so I get to enjoy your decluttering ! Mine will have to be out on hold for awhile. So happy you & your son have a home now ! Libby be proud of you ! Have a lovely day see you on your next adventure !
Amazing mama! So many things to help out so many babies look cute and grateful momma and daddy will appreciate you donating what you did ❤
Thank you! ❤️ It really helps to think that way 😭
Yay you got it cleaned and you got a place to move to.! How exciting!😊
I am in Colorado and have had several large storage units as large as the one you had. It is always tough to clear out and especially decide what to really keep and what to donate. You did a terrific job clearing out the unit with help. Looking forward to seeing your next adventures moving from house to an apartment.
Awesome job!! I’m glad you found a place to move for you and your son. May God continue to protect and guide you.
I’m so happy that you weren’t affected by the tornadoes but sad to see the people that were. Weather is so unpredictable and the damage it can do is frightening. On a happier note, I’m happy to see how well you’re doing with your decluttering. I find baby clothes one of the hardest things to go through. My son is a grown man now and I hadn’t looked through his baby clothes in years. He’s now married and his wife is so happy that I have kept some of his clothes. They’re in great condition and she looks forward to hopefully using them for their future children.❤️🙏
Your snapper’s broke LOL That was hilarious 😂
You did awesome!!!🌸
🤣 when i need them to work the most lmao
I need to do same thing my house closes on June 21 and I plan to look for new house but I will be staying with my oldest son. My house has taken a long time to sell and my first jerk realtor told me it will sell fast to put everything in storage. So I have to go thru both storages while I’m looking for a house. Lucky I don’t need to work off for summer and there is a Goodwill in the same parking lot.😅 watching u and another declutter person has really helped me ahead of time. My X destroyed many sentimental things so I don’t have to worry about that at least😮. Thank you
People with ongoing trauma
Usually collect way to much material stuff
That’s why so many people are hoarders
Gorgeous doggie!! 🐶💖
You did it! I'm sure it is a great relief. Now to tackle that move! 🌻🍄
It feels sooo good!! Lets get to moving 💪🏻
Awesome work!! Wishing you the very best on this next chapter. Look forward to following along. ❤

Cheers from Italy.
Dan ❤
Well done girl. Be proud of yourself 😉👍
I most definitely am!
When I lost my house a year ago it was so hard going through the storage when I finally got out of homelessness. 90% was my sons stuff and it was so hard to get rid of things.
That is so hard and a lot to process. Im so proud of you!
You've overcome so much and having to get rid of things is insanely hard. ❤️
Another tip for silverware is to count out a certain number that fit comfortably in your hand and then just grab that many, whenever it's convenient while you are doing the dishes, mountain of silverware not a thing.
Great job!!
Dear Libby, I really loved your energy in this video. It was a pleasure to watch and I cheered when you finally cleared the storage unit. Congrats to you new apartment wishing you and your son all the best... btw your son is such a cutie. What a lovely little guy. 🤍

Sound now working, yay xx
okay good!!
Technical difficulties are fun lol
Have you considered making a quilt out of pieces of the baby clothes you kept? Just a suggestion. 😊
Box management is a thing.
Congratulations!
So proud of you. You did so good. ❤
Doing great 👍
Why cant you let go of your sons fathers stuff? If he was never around, why is there such an attachment to them? You can give them to his family or donate them to a men's shelter. Stop holding onto them. They dont belong to you or your son. Theyre not needed. Time to geal from that part of your past.
👍
Regardless of the *luxrul* bag or any other factors, I ardently hold that without proper expertise, one would fail to distinguish variations in the sack's appearance or metal parts.
That is a way I could empty my house out - put it all in a storage unit :-D
Can you show us when you take all of the items to get donated?
No!🙄😵💫😖
👏🤩
Since your son didn't have little to none relation with his father- all the clothes, boots and plush toys from him are for your keepsake or your son's? Does he want to have all this stuff from his father or he doesn't care about it?
This is exactly what has been puzzling me too.
Grief and death are complicated. Some people like me also, have a hard time letting go. Even if the memories aren’t great. Guilt. And all kinds of feelings, regret. Sadness. It’s a process. She’s in therapy so I’m sure she will eventually let them go.
Hi dear Libby Hope you can get the sound on somehow as sadly I can not hear you but i am watching nevertheless please dont feel bad about this XXX
It is working for me, is it still off for you?
It's working now thank you for fixing it I just had the pleasure of watching it again 😜
Make a blanket out of his baby clothes r a big cushion cover
I just came across your channel and watched a few videos. Although I like your content it's very hard to follow with posting dates being off. It would be much easier if you would just # them like other TH-camrs do who don't post right away. Like Meaty Mama numbers hers and it's great. Just constructive criticism. Please don't take it negatively. Thank you for listening.
Libby, be more careful with covering your license plate. You need to stay safe.
Thank you! I should have just put a piece of paper over it.. 🙄
Im sorry but that nonsense on nailnpolish expiring is bs. If its still thin enough to pain with its fine, thats all manufacturers just wanting you to buy more, same with make up. I have nailpolish that is 20 yrs old and i still use.
Hi, for your son's biological donor you can call him the unmentionable. That way you don't have to call him anything.
I haven't got any sound to this video x
It should be fixed now!
maybe just say Bio-dad and then ex -to your current situation
I have no sound
It should be fixed now!
So you have one or two children? I thought you said two, but you always say my son.
why don't you sell the baby clothes at the yard sale people buy baby stuff.
There is something wrong with the audio
It should be fixed now! thank you for letting me know!
Now it works 🎉
Awesome!! Thank youuu!
People rent and leave storage units daily. This is not a life changing "journey."
A break up is huge. And now she is a single mom with son. It is huge to her.
Wtf? Nail polish is the chemical and does not expire 🤣
It dries out though.
Great job!!
Thank you!
