    Can undiagnosed ADHD lead to drug experimentation and or drug addiction later on in life??? Or can undiagnosed ADHD lead to any other mental health issue's like anxiety and such, later on in life?

    • @maxparviz18

      yes to everything

    • @HeadDetectiveLassie
      @HeadDetectiveLassie 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Undiagnosed ADHD may lead to drug experimentation due to not only the impulsivity that tends to be a facet of the condition but one's attempt to self-meditate a condition they are not fully aware of. They know something is off but not what. It leads to addiction in many cases and is an ineffective way to stimulate a chronically understimulated brain.
      Undiagnosed ADHD also tends to result on secondary conditions or commorbidities like anxiety and depression due to the daily struggle that results from untreated symptoms like executive dysfunction. In an easy simplification, anxiety from the mistakes and mishaps that occur often and depression from the shame and fatigue. Of course, it is more complex than that, but these do contribute to other conditions developing.

      There is a possibility, I think, that impulsiveness makes it much harder to create a social life and leads to feeling guilt after every impulsive reactions in certain situations. This can make one feel lonely and isolated, and their sense of self-protection leads to withdrawal. To ease the pain, people may start using drugs and alcohol. Of course, there are many other challenges associated with having ADHD, not just impulsiveness. Being undiagnosed means that person didn't receive the support they need to live with ADHD and learn coping tools. An individual can face a very challenging life.

      no it can’t and the fact you have to ask is sad, clearly showcasing what you clearly don’t know or understand but i’m here to educate with, no it doesn’t lead to drugs anyone can find themself with drugs and the fact you think a disability is the reason people want to so drugs is almost as gross as how low your iq is

    I have a rare Learning Disability, which means I can't learn even the "simplest" things everyone else can, even other LDs. I'm just too stupid! No one cares to help and they don't want to hear it, so FORGET IT! I won't bother to try to do anything at all! I'm done!

    Godless people giving you explanations that may have some initiative to the root problem but definitely is not the source prescription drugs do not solve any problems. Rejecting the truth choosing falsehood and lies leads to Greater suffering if you're honest with yourself and you allow the Lord to heal the liver set you free you can be just that free to know who you are in Christ receiving a new identity and overcoming with the world deems as a problem when all reality the Lord uses it and will use it for your good

      Do not bring religion into scientific issues. A long time ago people said that if they go to church it was impossible to get the plague because god would "heal them from gods wrath" these people died from the plague. In more recent times people take liberties and interpret corona-virus as a sign of the apocalypse and state that praying will rid you of "gods anger". These people are likely to get corona-virus and kill vulnerable people through spreading. Now we also have people like you, who deny experts of their well developed evaluations considered through layers of research you will never understand. You may think that every problem can fit into your view of religion, but it cannot. You must look at this from a scientific lens and not some misguided interpretation. Educate yourself and build of your education, not your biases.

      I can't even focus long enough to pray, pay attention in church, and read my Bible. I am a huge lover of God, but treating my ADHD is helping me build my relationship with God because I can give Him the attention he deserves.

      @@Jamse. you are the problem for many suffering and never finding hope or results. Your scientific rhetoric Is always false if it not connected to the true spiritual source God and His word. He is the final Authority in all things. We Trump your scientific rhetoric but use it in much. @@JOSHUAloves1 The mind is something that is deducible to basic principles. Scientific "rhetoric" is by definition not rhetoric. It is the innovation of knowledge through trial and error. It is interchangeable. The only rhetoric here is you spouting things that can not be deducible by empirical evidence. I have evidence, years of experience and knowledge on my side that builds a picture centered around logic. Rhetoric is argument with the absence of logic, which, given the fact that you have NO empirical evidence or principles to back up your thoughts, translates to your nonsense.
