The video evidence leads me to believe that the power chord was definitely not properly connected to the servo base. I can clearly see that it is not in there as deeply as it should be in your recording. Even checking the connection a couple of times would not have fixed the problem because you have to forcefully shove it in there. Sucks you didn't get to experience it because it's a much better base set than G29/920 and has an ecosystem full of upgrades which Logitech can't match. I wouldn't let what happened there dissuade you from going the TM route. Especially now that they have a Load Cell pedal set. I own it, and it is fantastic!
I know this is an old video but I wanted to say thank you, this was literally the only set up video I could find that showed wtf to do with that mysterious metal piece that is apparently a mod. I'm going to give it a go on the accelerator because it doesn't have any resistance at all. Thanks again!

Yep. If not for this issue alone, I'd have bought a T300 ages ago. But the reports of failures put me off. I use a G29 as a result, which is not as good when it comes to the actual feel and FFB, but it's given me zero issues over a year of intensive use.

Yes you can
Is it worth it though? It’s pretty expensive. I want it but how many good racing games are out there anyways? Is it really such an amazing experience?
i thought the same when iordered one. but if you were the type to go for the racing games at arcades first you will be having tons of fun.
i think the coolest part is that you can take the skills you learned on the sim wheel head into a real car and see its not far off at all from the real deal
You only really need 2-3 racing games to have fun. Like maybe ACC and GT Sport or Forza etc.
your converter busted a fuse somewhere 😂
Very nice vid.Can you tell me if you can,how can install Th8a shifter with Tss Sparco Handbrake? Thanks
how can i connect the thrustmaster t300 rs logitech g29 shıfter
Can you guys help if it is worth buying this steering wheel in 2024/2025
Obviously reliability and QC are at an unacceptable level with TM, but itlf you get a good one the T300 is fantastic
Yep. If not for this issue alone, I'd have bought a T300 ages ago. But the reports of failures put me off. I use a G29 as a result, which is not as good when it comes to the actual feel and FFB, but it's given me zero issues over a year of intensive use.
@ Good choice! Karma struck and mine died shortly after making that post. Not buying a product from them aged again.
I've heard the exact opposite which is the funny thing
@@xxczerxx I read about their bad QC several time now... I guess I will have to pay for an extended warranty then.
I'll be interested to find out how long it lasts before it's bin worthy
Yeah definitely!
i have it for 4 days and to day i noticed that wheel joint is slipping even though i tightened it with a screw, it wobbles but the wheel itself is not coming off. Tomorrow i will try to remove it and check what is the problem.

I watched a video of someone who has used it for 6 yrs and had very little probs
Works great on my ps5! Load times super fast..graphics all to the max and yeah. I love my t300, T3pa, Th8a and soon to have tss handbrake...mhm love sim racing on my ps5!!! It is definitely the way!!
I’m looking at getting this wheel for my ps5, do you have any complaints and how well do you think it will hold up in the future?
@@emmettzaczepinski6565 zero complaints. I actually bought mine second hand so it has many hours on it. Works perfect on my ps5 and works great on my pc also. I plan to have it for many years to come. It’s truly a great wheel. If you are on the fence then jump and get the t300! Have fun! Enjoy!
@@billygames7107 ok thanks! This has definitely helped my decision. Also what games do you mostly play with this wheel? Right now I would play f1 and dirt rally but snow runner looks cool
@@emmettzaczepinski6565 snowrunner is horrible on a wheel. I play gran turismo. Project cars 2. Pc3 also horrible..all the dirt rally’s and currently addicted to American Truck Simulator! It’s hard to play anything else this game is so good. It actually got me into pc gaming. My ps5 is collecting dust because ATS is amazing! You won’t be disappointed with the wheel. 👍🏼
@@billygames7107 ok cool and thanks for the warning on snow runner
G29 is descent budget wheel. T300RS is mid range wheel. The fair play would be G29 vs T150
depends on where you're buying them. In my local markets both the G29 and T300 cost around 300€, while the T150 is around 185€
Hahahahahaha brilliant! great video capped off by a surprise ending.
ah noooooooo, like, i watch this clip, 1 day before I receive my T300RS GT, courier informed me they deliver tomorrow. IF mine bomb out I will post here. Man, got serious doubts now.
Seriously good luck...i hope you dont have this issue. Let me know.
How is it?
Does your wheel work?
Update?
I want to sell my G29 and get a T300 RS but it's hard to sell rn during pandemic especially in Canada
