@@michaelnaisbitt1639 that is the premise of the show. Two and a half men was pretty good but, friends was half decent but seinfeld blew chunks. Even if it was the only thing on i still wouldn't watch it. Seinfeld is about as funny as a 3rd heart attack.
I was really young when I first saw the show and thought it was the most boring thing ever. Now that I understand it, I get how it ran for so many seasons.
It's funny how different things look when you get older. When Fawlty Towers was first out on TV, 10-year-old me thought that Sybil was the difficult character...
Mr Reeve did a remake of Rear Window after his accident. I wonder if someone saw this clip of Reeve's voice as a shut-in and put two and two together to get that role for him.
Such a clever conceit. And a joy to find out some of their names! Must have been great fun for these celebs. What a pity Frasier has left the building.....
@@hughvane I never understood why she didn't have a bigger career. She's one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. She has perfect comic timing and she had a really likeable personality. Top that off by being a good actress too. She's hardly even aged too! Although I do blame her for me now being attracted to women way outside my league.
LP SP the boring voice caller is Henry Mancini, who wrote Moon River, which they used riiiiight after that call to try and fix things with Frasier’s dad and the woman he was dating. Pretty fun! And yeah, 90s Peri Gilpin is my absolute fashion goal (Jane Leeves’ early Daphne outfits, too)
My favorite celebrity caller is Gary Sinise as Sid, who can't talk on the phone with strangers without writing down his answers beforehand... cracks me up every time I see that episode. Season 2 Episode 18
The Jay Leno call is hilarious! Often, Jay Leno would include a lot jokes about Americans being overweight, and constantly expanding waist lines because of fast food. Frasier's line about the heat lamp is genius!
His advice actually did help me too. And Frazier's advice hit me especially hard emotionally because my first name is also Claire. So it felt like he was directly talking to me. I'm glad it helped you too though!😁
This is why I like watching Frasier on Amazon...it shows who is in the scene. One episode had Henry Mancini calling in as a character, but they played Moon River after that...I only noticed that the 4th time (over the years) I went through all Seasons. Such a wonderful show!
Cockoff Gewgle The episode (or scene storyline reference) titled "The Ex" which refers to Lilith calling into the show. Because he makes the remark of Lilith being a "celebrity" when all the characters were voiced by celebrity callers, as well as a fourth wall joke to the audience who may have known Lilith from "Cheers", of which Frasier was a spin off.
That call with Linda Hamilton in the beginning made me think about my own potential relationship when things didn't work out. It made me stop and think about how hung up i was on a guy who i was never gonna be with and who i was gonna be.
The "I hate my voice" brings back good memories. I used to do that to my sister, only my voice is naturally high-pitched and hill billy twangy. She said it was like an ice pick thru the temple.
Rosemary Clooney was amazing ... true, first time I heard of her was when she did guest spots on 'ER', but then I found out who she really was, and my God, her life story is something else ...
Wow Henry Mancini?! I met him a long time ago. Such a wonderful and amusing man. I chatted with him for a bit. He was amazed that someone as young as I...at the time knew who he was. High school band Sir, high school band. I was 25 when I met and talked with him
Frasier’s greatest folly was to never quite appreciate what an attractive woman he had sitting right next to him everyday at work just because in his book, she wasn’t as smart or sophisticated as his high brow standards demanded.
why was linda Hamilton's Voice used? Was there significance to this like I see in the other Voices eg Piper Laurie's is an obvious reference to her role in Carrie.
@0:29 Oh My GOD!!! I just discovered I plagiarized this bit. After my brother's wife passed and he couldn't get over it, I literally said this to him. Not the part about Lupi Valez but the other part.
Not gonna lie, that could totally be Sarah after Kyle died, but before the ending of her accepting her fate and driving to the storm that's coming. Like set few weeks after destroying the T-800, in need of some mental help, she uses a fake name and story to try and get some help.
Thank you very much I'm glad you like it in the Barbra Streisand should do the Super Bowl yes that voice that angel silky smooth beautiful can you imagine it'll be something Unforgettable cell have a peaceful life and a blessed one thank you
I was actually at the filming of the first episode. I even got to shake Kelsey’s hand afterward. What a fun night. A great show indeed.
WOW; Lucky you.!!!
I love Kelsey, I love them all!
Frasier was the best adult comedy ever produced in televisions HISTORY. Nothine before nor since its final show compares..
I Agree Sir.
"M.A.S.H" and "Cheers" come to mind....and that's just two before the first "Frasier" episode.

The thunder in his voice as he delivers the line: *Oh, they know you.*
Yeah that was straight up sideshow Bob. When he gets hit by The rake
Don’t you love hearing the audience recognize Lilith’s voice. Gets me every time. 😂
Perhaps one of my all time favorite sitcoms.
God, I miss this show! Best TV comedy ever!
I will 2nd. that!
I 3rd that!

I feel like Linda Hamilton wasn't acting but, rather, speaking from the heart.
That’s how good acting works.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Frasier! The most genius writing, plotting and acting in any sitcom by far. Classic comedy.
These days intelligent humor is a lost art.
They don't make em like this anymore indeed! Pure class acting way better than all those modern family like sitcoms
I still use intelligent humor.

That's pretty cool that Ben Stiller was on the show right at the start of his career.
Ross'z character added meaningful flavour to Dr. Crane's!!!!
Rupaal Singh I agree, and I love Ros and Niles banter also.
There are so many hilarious lines in this, but the call with Claire was something that stuck with me during my own break-up.
I'm glad Linda Hamilton actually guest star in an episode instead of just having her voice on the show.
"Oh they know you."

Rest in peace Christopher Reeve, still the best Super Man there ever was.
Lol! I thought Bruno Kirby was Joe Peschi.

"Frasier" is permanently on my Amazon Watch List (and I've always liked Lilith!).
If Frasier were on today, I would venture to say that he'd set some social media influencers straight about stuff.
Always thought Niles was a better psychiatrist
Lilith is hot - in an extremely icy kind of way... ;-)
Find out why everyone's talking about Pittsburgh! LMAO...And Niles' outrageous reaction in the car... he did a Lucy there!
What's a "Lucy"?
I would had love to hear Tom Hanks reprising his Sleepless in Seattle character.
Love when they put the reference to Bebe Neuwirth in the callers
