No , vinegar can’t be used here , we are using lemon here to avoid the crystallisation of the sugar syrup , but if u don’t want to add the lemon u can totally skip this step and should try to make the caramel fast or both the parts together so u can mix them up .

Secondly, take another boiler add remaining half cup of sugar and let it melt and immediately turn off the gas once it melts and starts bubbling , but don’t stir it too much , it may lead to a thick syrup. Finally , add the water+sugar syrup in the caramelised sugar and stir . Add vanilla essence to it for the flavour and store in a air tight container.

Hello. Ty for this video. I made it but white I melting the raw sugar I added little bit water water only one tablespoon & water dries within a second. After making all the procedure when I tested it, I found that syrup's taste is bitter, not sweet. Please let me know my mistake

I am sorry for what happened But it shouldn’t have happened May be sugar got overcooked and that could lead to a little sour taste Or may be the lemon was sour in taste , so you can avoid putting lemon in it from the next tym ( but for that you have to make sugar syrup + melted sugar together so that the syrup didn’t get crystalised )
It shouldn’t have happened, may the measurement was inappropriate . It’s runny when we cook but don’t worry let it stay for few minutes or an hour it will thicken automatically .

So try not to overcook when adding the sugar syrup in caramel , but in case if you accidentally overcook or thicken your syrup , add more hot water into the mixture in order to keep it runny😊

The syrup definitely hardens as it cools. You can eat it after you reheat it, just be careful as hot sugar can burn so quickly

Dear , You have to melt the sugar in a separate pan and make a water+sugar syrup in a separate pan and also take care of the quantity using.
