If viola is made fun of so much and people know violin exists and violin is one of the most popular instruments with massive repertoire then why do people choose to play Viola?
@@Tenchi707 Twoset violin is joking about the horrors of viola. There's good reasons to pick the viola, from the deeper, richer sound than the violin to the fact that there are relatively few violists while every orchestra and string quartet needs them - the supply to demand ratio is much better than the violin so if you get good at viola it is easier to find groups that want and need you. Kind of like playing bassoon, oboe or french horn compared to flute or clarinet. If you want to play professionally in an orchestra, viola is a good instrument to pick. And violas do sound very nice. I once accidently toppled my note stand during a performance (I'd blame myself for this, because I have a kinda heavy score folder on a thin foldable note stand). To make it even worse, I sat in the front section of the orchestra (it was a Chinese orchestra and I'm playing a Malay traditional percussion for some repertoires, so they put me in front to highlight the Malay element). Dude, fml 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I'd love to do that but for some reason our room for band has like flat floor and then it goes up (repeat a little) which my teacher hates because we don't need it and the stands can fall on other people's heads (which almost happened to a horn next to me when a percussionist almost dropped their stand)

Lol but still gross
3:57 THE OFFICIAL LINGLING WORKOUT
A new player joins the game.
Viola man. He screams.
As a French horn player, I can say that’s an Accurate French horn depiction
trueee😂
As a fellow French horn player, I agree
100% accurate, and it happens too often
I'd love to do that but for some reason our room for band has like flat floor and then it goes up (repeat a little) which my teacher hates because we don't need it and the stands can fall on other people's heads (which almost happened to a horn next to me when a percussionist almost dropped their stand)
FRENCH HORN !!
Number one rule before any concert runs even though you are not in the quartret.
REHEARSE
Seeing a polish comedians in this video just made my day XD They're one of my favorites. Grupa MoCarta are also good musicians. I just love them❤
0:21 - The fact that this recording is from Frankfurt Sinfonie Orchestra surprises me a bit. And Andreas is conducting too. XD
The screaming is the best. Would love to do that during an actual performance. Just go nuts.
do you know which piece it was? I'd love to see the full recording LMAO
@@okay-oliver sorry for the late reply. It should be Widmann Viola concerto. Not hard to miss with the thumbnail showcasing him knocking the Viola. (I haven't watched it yet, so idk how it is.)
@@SACworks wow, thank you so much!!
@@okay-oliver no probs! :D
3:05 Oh _yeeesss!_ That's MozART Group (Grupa MoCarta) from Poland! I love them! ♥ They're _soooo awesoooome!_ You should definitely check them out, their shows are amazing! ♥
sylwioszekbajki I can’t tell if your name is gibberish or an actual Polish word
@@slen9658 It's a combination of 'sylwioszek' and 'bajki'. 'Sylwioszek' is a diminutive variation of the name Sylwia (not that anyone is using it as such, it's just a nickname my classmate and I came up with years ago); 'bajki' is a plural form of 'bajka', and mean 'fairy tales' and 'fairy tale' respectively.
I tell you, all the Northern Europe countries’ languages is a whole other planet once you travel there. Also now I'm a fan of this group.
Czekaj jesteś z Polski? Ur from Poland??
I was cringing during the whole time during the flute part. ( I play the flute, I was dying watching that )
Edit : thanks for all the likes ❤️❤️
IKR, Also #FluteGang
@@ChristinaJ01126 I play tin whistle. Can I join you ? :p
Corne de Bruine Why Not? :)

When I saw this comment I was like, “it can’t be that bad” then I saw it and now I just wanna die lol
7:58 this is what happens when a primary school orchestra does not require auditions, takes everyone who applied, can let students choose their own seats and never really rehearse
An entire orchestra of Chinese kids and no one said anything?
Scychopath hahaha 😂 it says on the board it’s from ‘Wuhan’ (whoops coronavirus!!) so I think they just assume it’s a chinese school haha
Woo hoo! Yippee! Go Caucasian grade 6 students in Canada! The way an orchestra should sound. Fun fun fun!
I actually encountered a similar situation as the 7:55 one. I used to be in a Chinese orchestra, and one time we went to a competition. We thought we did bad, but then the next ones came on stage and the exact thing happened. The conductor seemed like he was really enjoying(or at least trying very hard to) it too
Just a casual viola player dropping in and realising her instrument is very much loved :3

We violists are so loved
When we are noticed that is
CreativeArtist 111 woah did u draw your profile pic
I’m a violist and I know how you feel. We’re always forgotten and criticized
just another viola player dropping in and realising that his viola is a good castanet
Is it bad I actually thought the balloon was a viola?!
The Kleptomaniac wait it wasn’t? Couldn’t tell
That’s just sad
As a viola player im slightly offended but i thought the same thing 🤣
No
Yes it is.
Viola sounds way worse, c’mon
1:03 Looks like Voldemort getting the Elder Wand

I'm a drumset player and you often have 3 score stands and if you need to flip the pages, you're outta luck. Get up and reach or memorize that song well enough to know where the rest is.
0:34 And here, we see the mating dance of the lone Viola player, desperately searching for reassurance that his orchestra aren't laughing at him. Note the limp hip shimmy, a sign that this particular specimen is already resigned to a long and desolate love life.
"At least someone's following the conductor for once" 😂😂😂
I AM DYING!
I lost it at the French horn 😂😂😂😂😂
And as a flute player I'm not only triggered but also amazed how they did it, I think I tried it once (alone not with another person) and failed to make a nice note/tune (idk how to say, sorry)
Yesssssss! I'm a violinist, and I love watching the way these people make it work!
That's because you only have one mouth!
@@IcyMidnight what if she was conjoined😉
9:22 is that Hilary!? Ye it is
Guy doing the ping pong singing and playing is from Grupa MoCarta (MozART group), from Poland! They're a string quartet comedian group that specialises in musical humour and I've loved watching them since i was a little kid!
I love them!
10:20 Itzhak Perlman and Peter Schickele
WinFailFunny they killed me
Ling Ling would be able to tune his laughter to the notes of Mozart's 4th Symphony.
Justin Y. For once you are actually early
I really have no idea why you got popular, I mean, the comments arent even funny
