    I've eaten a tofu-based "ice cream" named Tofutti. Not soy milk based but good stuff anyway. I can't wait to make this. Ginger is my favorite, and this is simple. Thanks for sharing this!

    Hi Pat that was an awesome video ,and the ice cream looked delicious very creamy...I liked the use of honey instead of sugar...also loved learning how to say it in Japanese 😃

    Hello! Thanks for the awesome videos! I tried your matcha icecream recipe and it comes out so delicious!! Watched all your icecream videos!! Could you make a red bean ice cream ? I think there is no red bean ice cream vedio using icecream machine on TH-cam so far. Btw I also got the same breville machine!! So happy with it hehe. Thanks alot! -from Korea :D

    Looks good but why use soy and then cream.....might as well use normal milk. Could you substitute with coconut cream for a non milk ice cream.. not good idea to lick the finger nor scraper/spoon these days.
    However loved your kitchen and will try it without any milk products. Thanks.

      Hi Molly, I haven't tried with coconut cream, but I think it can, this is another option for vegan ice cream, no milk added :)
      I agree, these days, it's really not a good idea to do that :)

    Hi Pat!,, one question: This mix that you made, can be used for ice crean rolls? "sorry for my poor english " I live in México.

      haven't tried using it for ice cream rolls but I think you can use it. let me know when you try it!

      Hi Sira. You may try other plant-based milks like almond, rice, and coconut. It also contains much less protein compared to soy. Hope it helps!

    Do soy milk/ plant based milk ice creams crystalize more easily when you store them in the freezer?

      Hi! Yes, soy milk or plant-based milks have a high water content and low fat content, which results in hard, frosty crystals when frozen, according to my knowledge. Hope it helps!
