Made this and it was delicious! My new favorite icecream! I used allulose for the entire recipe, and used a stand mixer to whip up the heavy cream first to a soft peak consistency, then added the prepared pecan mixture to the whipped cream and used a paddle to mix the whole thing together! I made this and the vanilla. I used Allulose in both (swerve for the butter pecan) not sure why, but the butter pecan came out very hard and needed to be unthawed for half and hour. The regular vanilla came out nice and creamy right out of the freezer. Both are delicious. Thank you so much. I was able to enjoy cake (mug cake) and ice cream on my birthday!

Thank you, this really is a great substitute for ice cream, I don’t use sugar or sweeteners but I followed your instructions exactly and it’s too sweet for my taste, but I’m simply going to make more minus the sweeteners, mix it together and enjoy! This is AMAZING! For the pecans I used half Lakanto and half BochaSweet and for the ice cream I used half BochaSweet and half an allulose blend because that's all I had. It was so soft and creamy. Absolutely delicious! I don't think I'll ever buy ice cream or use my ice cream maker again. I used my mixer and mixed the cream to a soft peak consistency and then put it in a square glass storage container for easy dispensing.
I do not have any pecans, but I have a bag of walnuts. I will make it with that and add a teaspoon of maple flavor instead of vanilla. Can not wait. Also, here is another tip, do not watch this at night or you will be hungry! Stay healthy and happy.
Just delicious and does stay soft enough without being rock hard. It is the first time that I have used Allulose. I usually buy Rebel but this is just as good and a lot less expensive. Of course I had to make a double batch.
Made this morning and it is delish!! I used two drops of stevia extract to add to the heavy cream. I also used two tablespoons of confectioner’s sugar instead of three. It was just right. I can even cut back on the stevia next time. I also used a jar that housed jelly bc i didnt have a mason jar. Texture and taste was perfect and tasted better than store bought. I have a Breville ice cream maker but always had the ice cream freeze rock hard after putting away the extra despite the fact that I always make the traditional base of creme anglais. But with allulose, it stays as creamy as store-bought stuff. Thank you! 😁

I made this ice cream today. Instead of vanilla extract, I used maple extract. I used 3 squirts of Syrlo syrup in heavy cream mixture. It was so good. Thanks. It tasted better than the store bought and it was cheaper to make.
I made this yesterday and it’s taken me a full day to come back here to review it!!! THAT’S how long I’ve been eye rolling and toe curling for 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. My non keto hubby took a taste, closed his eyes and threw both his arms up in the air saying “ holy fuck!! That’s 100/10” my kids had a taste and love it. I placed the rest in the freezer thinking it’ll be a hard mess today! Well I dunno how but it’s soft and perfect and even better than yesterday. How the heck is that possible? I found laying the mason jar on the side so the mixture is thinner and able to chill through faster ( and stirring once after about an hour or so) allowing it to freeze very quickly (2 ish hours) vs 5.

I couldn't get it to double in size so it ended up very sweet. Too sweet honestly. But what a treat! I'll try this again in the future! Maybe try a cold jar next time? This is a keeper! One thing I miss the most about keto

Timely since I just received some butter pecan extract in the mail today from Amazon. I must admit that I never use a Mason jar and my ice cream always comes out delicious and I've never had one last for an entire day yet.
@@justtheanodelay1119 I use what is like a large coffee cup, broad but not tall that I got from the dollar store. Works great. I don't shake it but use an immersion blender, a mixer, or just a spoon. Also, this is great used before it's really hard by adding some milk or almond mike and making a delicious shake.

I use maple extract, heavy cream, melted butter and sugar of choice. Pour into dish, put in freezer. 2 hours and done.

Timely since I just received some butter pecan extract in the mail today from Amazon. I must admit that I never use a Mason jar and my ice cream always comes out delicious and I've never had one last for an entire day yet.
what did you use instead of the jar?
@@justtheanodelay1119 I use what is like a large coffee cup, broad but not tall that I got from the dollar store. Works great. I don't shake it but use an immersion blender, a mixer, or just a spoon. Also, this is great used before it's really hard by adding some milk or almond mike and making a delicious shake.

Adding a bit of xanthum gum powder or gelatin will make it richer & creamier.
