Was anyone else like “stop talkin’ and eat that ice cream”? Hahaha. A couple takeaways from this trip 1) never open your mouth when you’re about to take river water to the face 💦 lol. Even in slooooooow moooootion! 2) I am definitely not part of a Yacht Club either Nat. 3) Rookie Nat made for a Quiet Matt. Such a gentleman. I had fun rollin on the river with you guys!

The white water trip was awesome I have done white water rafting in Maine a few times and yes I fell off it was awesome. Grew up in Idaho. Sadly everyone is moving there now but great adventures on the snake. Anything huckleberry is fantastic. Use to pick them right off the bush.
What an awesome boat ride!! I only got to drive through Idaho from Spokane, WA to Kalispell, MT, but what a BEAUTIFUL drive that was!! I can’t wait to go back and explore the state more someday. I tried a Huckleberry milkshake while I was on that trip (in Montana), and I thought it was so good!! Like you said, it’s KIND OF like blueberry, but it really is just its own flavor. Definitely a must-try in the northwest-it’s everywhere!! 😂💕 loved the vlog as always!!

That jet boat looks so fun!! I had no idea anything like that even existed, but it seems like a less life threatening alternative to white water rafting! Such a great day in Idaho! Love that the lunch included beef jerky 😂

The potatos looked so delicious. 😋 The jet boat race looked amazing! I have white water rafted but never on a boat! Huckleberries are my absolute favorite and I love picking them and making jam, pie, pancakes… you name it!! 🫐 I am also an honorary memeber of the redneck yacht club!! 🛥 Let me know when you guys come back to Idaho because you would absolutely love the Coeur d’Alene area. I just found you guys because I was looking up the Durango Silverton train in Colorado for our upcoming vacation and now, thanks to you we are adding Kilgore Adventures to our list of must dos and y’all have a new subscriber! Thank you 😁
We did this jet boat ride several years ago when they had a record year for snow melt and the river was about 10 feet over normal. It was really scary and engines were working over time to get us up river! We also did a raft trip down the Salmon River. Same thing, very deep and treacherous! We got there the day before our raft trip was scheduled and checked in at the raft trip office and was told we were getting a different guide because our guide and all her guests got dumped out and beat up on the rocks since the river was so high. They said we’d be putting in below the spot they dumped out. I was petrified, but I got talked into it anyway. Thank goodness we made it ok.

Wow! How cool! Lived in Idaho for 4 years and never did Hell's Canyon. Not sure how old Kilgore jet boats are, but probably weren't a thing 40+ years ago! lol Looked it up and they are kind of pricey, but looks totally worth it!!
