I love the WRX engine sound, but the Audi quattro 5-cylinder twin-tone sound is the king of engine sounds to me.

People removed the equal length headers and more advanced twin scroll turbo , replaced with unequal length and a normal turbo decreasing efficiency and performance on the last wrx just for the brap brap!

I've had 3 Subaru's never had a engine problem ever. My last impreza had over 160k on the clock. It's how you look after them.

Actually I don't like the "blobeye" version.. I love the "meaneye" over every Subaru, but when I wanted to buy one I couldn't find a clean one. All messy or in bad conditions. That's why I bought a "bugeye" 😂

That's widely considered the least desirable STI version in the United States 😅
Dome Tr Switzerland has actually lots of them in pretty decent condition for the most part, just watch out for abused ones and for rust as we have snowy winters and salt that may cause rust

Dixon Normous kind of agree, but I don’t know bro. Look at the one at 22 seconds. As an STi owner, I feel like they rumble down low in the rpm range and then up top depending on your exhaust it can definitely roar

The burble is the same reason a V-8 sounds great. It'll never be _that_ awesome, but this puts it at the top of 4cyl sounds easily.
The old wrx’s are so hard not to fall in love with, and this new 2022 wrx is so hard to even…look at, I can’t believe how badly Subaru disrespected the wrx with that car

I used to a own a WRX. theyre such great sounding cars. i just wish they had more reliablity/upgradability. if you want 500whp, you better spend over like 6 grand just to do so but then your block may let loose. Get that sleeved is another Grand. so expensive for so little gains.
That’s because we never got the actual jdm motor which does hold up. You can order one online though which is what most people do.
@@imoffendedthatyouareoffended so youre actually wrong, the engine in my wrx was a JDM ej205. I dont think theyre THAT much stronger
@@snowysysadmin59 its more or less about the clearances from the piston rings and stuff, the block themselves are really good and i thought the ej207 was the jdm motor but i could be wrong, theres so much to remember.
