The lady is Black Widow. She has a major role in many of the films.
The suit isn't making Tony sick. It's the reactor in his chest (that he can't remove) that's making him sick. But the suit itself is harmless to him.
Nick Fury is the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., which is a secretive elite branch of the US military in the MCU. They have the best people and the most cutting edge tech available in the world. It's like special ops/black ops on steroids.

I love how this movie introduces Black Widow and that struggle for Tony finding a substitution core for his Arc reactor. Also, I think Don Cheadle was better as Rhodey than Terrence Howard was.

A lot of times in these movies, there are references just for comic book nerds. Don't worry if you don't get them. The movies work just as well for non nerds. They will eventually tell you all you need to know. Nick Fury, for example, is an important character from the comics. But you will learn more about him in future movies. So just sit back and enjoy the ride.
I really appreciate what you thought about Pepper from the very start. It's definitely one of the story arcs in the movie.

Tony wouldn't admit, due to his ego lol, that the suits and his basement lab are coded for three people: himself, Virginia (Pepper), and Rhodes. So Rhodes couldn't have stolen a suit; Jarvis would've already been coded to let him use it, and he keeps it.

Ivan Vanko in this is a combination of two comic villains: the Crimson Dynamo (a Soviet version of Iron Man) and Whiplash. In the comics he is just Crimson Dynamo. Rhodey kept the suit he took from Tony and becomes another Marvel hero: War Machine
Elon Musk got a cameo in the film because he let them use the SpaceX factory as the set for Hammer Industries.

It's actually The Infinity Saga, but I've heard it referred to as the Avengers franchise. Acceptable considering the 4 Avengers titled movies are the definitive core of the story, and most of the other individual films are members of the Avengers - Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Ant-Man.

The kid in the Iron Man mask @33:55 is Peter Parker...who will be Spider-Man in later MCU films. He was played by Max Favreau, Jon Favreau's (Happy Hogan) son.
And.... if you have not already seen "Thor" (2011) as of this date 26th November, might I suggest watch the Marvel One Shot on the "Captain America" (2011) DVD/Blu-ray. It a kind of bridge between IM2 and Thor.
I always hated this retcon. He was never meant to be Peter Parker but was shoehorned in to fit after the fact.
To Tara or anyone else who may know this may be a little off topic, but I follow a few people's reactions on TH-cam including her sisters. why does she need the copyright watermark in her reaction videos?no one else does it and frankly I think it's quite distracting.
A lot of people tell me it’s distracting, but in my opinion, the point of these videos is not to watch the unobstructed film… it’s to watch my reaction to it! lol You can still clearly hear and see which parts of the film I’m reacting to… but having it there means I can keep my reaction videos longer and include more scenes of the film and more reaction, that others might have had to cut out due to copyright claims.
@@TaraTunesIn I agree with you Tara, and in your defense...you are not the only Reactor who does this, I can name quite a few who also do something similar (and probably for your same reason too).
It's not simply about her reaction, but about reliving the experience with a new friend. Imagine taking a friend to a movie you've already watched and then you spend the whole time looking at them that would be creepy, and now imagine that the screen is blurred...that would be just annoying.
@@blackpowder99 I hear what you're saying, and I do understand. If you go back and look at some of Tara's earlier Reactions, she had to make quite a few sacrificing choices during those Edits, which did include blurring out the whole screen sometimes. She has come a long way since then, her material quality has gotten so much better, but her Channel is still "small" compared to several others (even her own Sister's) who can get away with a lot more in their Edits.
Reactions are not there for people to watch the movie: If that is what you want to do then watch the darn movie.
If the copyright watermark prevents multiple postings because of studio idiots who still don’t understand that such reactor create buzz for their products, then fine! We got plenty as is to know what she is reacting to which is all that is needed.
