Aside from Daphne and Duke Simon's undeniable screen chemistry, I love Bridgerton siblings chemistry too, they look alike, the casting in this series is perfection.

I surely hope they do, as it would be so wonderful to see this in the character of Eloise. She is a “searcher” you see it so clearly...she is open to exploration of all that she thinks and feels. She wants the same “rights” as any man-and by god, I would love to see her explore that side of herself. 😉

Which is why I took no malice towards your comment. I just made my point more clearer. I am all for diversity, which is what drew me to this series in the first place.
We are seeing so many female writers taking control of the narrative this season and it has been so exciting to see.
I also notice that a lot of international movies and television have been introducing bi sexuality into their storylines, it is becoming very integrated and thus making it a more open dialogue of communication and discussion. It exists, it has always existed. Sexuality is a spectrum, it is fluid and you can be anywhere on that spectrum. I think it scares people to know that there are no clear lines when it comes to sexuality, which is why it’s not talked about.

Eloise should be allowed to explore her sexuality, but if the writers go by the novels, she will marry Sir Philip, a widower with 2 children. Personally, it would make the story much more interesting and diverse-if she were to be in love with a woman.
Either way, Eloise is a very interesting character. We have all fallen in love with her wit; her outspoken nature, and I look forward to her story.

To be completely honest I didnt expect to love her story with Phillip that much. But now it is probably my favorite together with Anthony’s. Im gonna be so sad if Phillip is set aside just so Eloise can be a lesbian huhu. But there are still more seasons to go so maybe she can explore her sexuality before she meets Phillip. Maybeeee.

I would disagree eloise being gay. I think she is terrified of having kids and knows that is what is expected once she marries so she would rather avoid it at all costs.
Benidict I don't see as gay at all just open minded to other lifestyles unlike many of that time. I could be wrong but I think what was shown in duke and I will be the most we will see.
Either way they would both end up married and most likely have kids. As shown there were no other options and if books are to be followed that is 100% for sure going to happen.

Exactly. I wish people would understand this. I'm straight and would live the same rights as men and not as feminine. While I get everyone is entitled to their opinion on the character, her wanting to be free from societal rules does not mean she is gay. Simply that she wishes for the same things that all of us would want whether, straight or gay.

I love how in the books, they end up living within an hour of each other. Benedict lives in “My Cottage” and Eloise lives at Romney Hall. Also, Sir Phillip ends up saving Benedict’s son’s life 😭

They are my absolute favourite characters (and Lady Danbury of course). So looking forward to Benedict's season.
Each gender and their birth order is who they are close/more interactions with,(if that made sense)
I only mean
First born- Anthony(boy) and Daphne(girl)(protective and responsible ones, learning from each other)
Second born- Ben(boy) and Eloise(girl)(my fav duo)
Third born- Colin and Fran. (haven’t really seen them together bonding as much)
Last- Gregory and Hyacinth(bickering all the time)
The third ones are utterly terrible. Almost no interaction whatsoever.

I started watching the series without diving into the books, and thought right off the bat that Eloise was for Penelope as Benedict was for that Painter dude. Turns out I was very wrong. 😂
My favourite Bridgerton is Daphne who is musical, intelligent and a diamond of the 1st water followed by Eloise who is honest, a reader, intellectual and beautiful who hopes for something different. Them Lady Bridgerton who knows the ton better than her sons.

I wish the show made the Bridgeton siblings as close as they were in the books. The siblings in the show seem more formal toward each other as compared to their behavior in the books.
