Great chat . Most recent purchase - Rolex Reference 126710BLRO - why not ? - bought it after-market because it’s just the most stunning Rolex and there was just no other way to get it besides paying premium - bucket list item . I have to admit I also bought a Steinhart OCEAN 39 double-GREEN Ceramic premium - wanting to have the Rolex ‘ Hulk ‘ but financially tapped out due to Pepsi$$ - when it comes to homages , very impressive quality ! Cheers
You guys are great! Best watch channel hands down and I watch most of them. Weirdly I just discovered you guys. I really like the format. Thank you so much for the content.
Hey guys ... enjoyed the chat. The last one was a Blancpain Leman Flyback Chrono LE (Cannes Boat Show) .. I honestly thought I'd got to a stable place with the watches I had but ended up buying a BP Leman Chrono (another one) and I loved it so much a sale began to look further into this fantastic brand :)
Royal Oak steel chronograph panda dial. Never purchased an RO before, but went into the AP House and they had 3 different steel versions to choose from available to buy there and then! A lucky day (ps it’s a real one obviously!). I got this one as fell in love when saw in Singapore 4 years ago... always regretted not having enough cash to pick it up then.
Could you make an episode about FP Journe please? It's a brand a discovered recently and I think it's an interesting brand. And I would like to learn more about it and maybe hear some anecdote of you guys with that brand. I really like your podcast by the way. Have a nice day.
It had to be a poor fake that you have spotted it so quickly. Some fakes are so good that it’s very hard to spot them without a genuine watch next to the fake one. Worst thing that could have been for that person that he paid the Second market prices and got a fake royal oak.
My latest watch purchases was an V.C Overseas 4500V/000R-B127, because I feel I get more of a watch compared to a daytona with oysterflex. I never use the chronograph function anyways, thus I think the overseas is a more versatile watch. I also wanted to try something els than Rolex, so this is my first move in that direction.
Last watch I purchased was the new two tone rootbeer. I would have preferred a steel GMT but was offered the two tone from my AD. Love the watch and it was cheaper than buying the steel versions on the gray market.
The VC 1921 is absolutely stunning
just pulled the trigger on the 36.5mm version. I'm in love.
Going to do the same. 👍

Great watch, the platinum one is on my radar.

1921 is nice 👍🏼
Watches must be worn rather than kept in a safe.
U still wearing that American Historique?
