Please please please, Dr. Idriss, I'm begging you to make a video on how to build a skincare routine for sensitive skin with rosacea, which actives to look for and which to avoid. It is especially tough to find proper well-aging products for such skin, it's also combination skin for me personally, but working with acne-prone skin and sensitive skin is so complicated :( Love your videos and have gotten a lot of hints on products to look for, but would loooove a separate video on this subject. 😘
Yes and acne in rosacea, not the pustules caused by rosacea, just regular acne when you have rosacea. Because the products that are strong enough to get rid of that acne are often too irritating for rosacea prone skin but then the ones aimed at rosacea are too gentle to get rid of the acne. Azelaic acid has not been able to get rid of my regular acne.
Requesting a video about hand treatments, extending the face treatments for back of the hand, Vit C, Serums, Actives, Retinol, SPF, etc...What to use to reduce age spots and fade them....maybe a night treatment. I rarely hear of Derms spending any real time on the hands in videos but it is where we show a lot of our aging and we shouldn't neglect them, we spend so much time on our face skin care. I personally have started using what actives I have on my face at night and applying it on the back of my hands in the hopes that it reduces some of those age spots and thinning skin. (I am in healthcare so during the day my hands get washed many, many times and I wear nitrile gloves during patient treatments...aged 47 for reference)
Unfortunately there aren’t any sunscreen mists or sprays, as of yet, that perform well when applied over makeup. The amount of sunscreen you need for the face in order to be properly protected is approximately 1/4 teaspoon. You really wouldn’t be able to get what you need out of a spray, as you would take your makeup off trying to equal that amount with the product. So put your sunscreen on, apply makeup and wear a hat for additional protection.
I bought the Vanicream vitamin C because of your recommendation and it is so good! I have tried several vitamin C serums in the past and my skin (which tolerates Rx retinoid) hated them all; I figured I was just not tolerant of vitamin C, but was bummed to miss out on its benefits. So glad this one hasn’t irritated my skin. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us ☺️
I use my red light mask before any skincare 4-5 mornings per week. I alternate Tretinoin & exfoliating (4-5 nights tret/week and 1-2 nights exfoliating/week, and usually one night off where I do a mask and extra moisturizing steps).
I found this channel a month ago and am obsessed. It has actually made me vigilant with my skin care routine for the first time in my life! I am already noticing a difference. My boyfriend mentioned the other day that my face looks smoother. Before this channel, I never thought about the texture, but it absolutely looks so much better!
I've searched all the Sephoras near me for Dr Idriss products and it's all sold out. While that's a bummer, so proud at the same time. I've been watching from the beginning and so happy for all her success!
As far as I am aware, you have never mentioned Bakuchoil as an alternative to retinol for those who are sensitive to acids. I would love to know your opinions on it.
She has said in the past that she used it while pregnant but she recommends Ole Henriksen Glow Cycle Retin-Alt which is a bakuchiol product for those who want to try it out
I would love to see a video where you talk more about skincare and haircare. For example, shampoo/conditioner recommendations, best hair oils and how to use them, choosing body wash and deodorants, how to protect my hair in the summer and more 💓
A sunscreen round up is a great idea. My biggest issue with sunscreen is that it irritates my eyes. I would like to find a sunscreen that works well without the irritation. Thank you!
The Round Lab Birch Juice sunscreen in the 50 ml tube is phenomenal. It has replaced my moisturizer and primer, very hydrating, cosmetically elegant, no white cast and doesn’t pill under makeup. I’m 52 and had never found an spf that didn’t irritate my face or cause breakout, until now.
Please, please more reviews and advice on sunscreen cushions for on-the-go touch-ups! Thank you for all of the valuable info! Love your videos and suggestions💕❤️
Dr, thank you for your videos. I do enjoy them and learn so much. I would like to see skin care advice for women in their 50’s - both hi-end and budget when it works as well as hi-end. Thank you so much.
Wow! Your brand will be in Sephora! Congratulations 🎉 thank you for all the knowledgeable you share with us. I wish you so much success, you deserve it ❤
I am 62 and recently had Mohs surgery. I have rosacea and pretty sensitive skin. I've been trying to find a sunscreen >50 that does not make my face look white, like some mineral types can, but I also want to avoid the chemicals. You mentioned doing a sunscreen video. Yes, PLEASE! I see by the comments that some others are in the same boat, so hopefully we can all get some great information.
I tried the Cetaphil Serum and it is nice but not great. The Cetaphil Healthy Renew Peptide Eye Gel however is spectacular. I layer it under my eye cream as I have dry skin. Love that one. Slightly different ingredients than the Face Serum. Thank you Dr. Idriss for another wonderful video😊
Hi Dr. Idriss, I loved how swiftly you popped out information about the products but what I missed with most of these descriptions was your personal take on that specific product. Have you used any of these yourself consistently? How did you like their performance and how they sat/absorbed into the skin? Do you think any of them can have marked results? Thank you 😊
Yay!!!!!!!!! International!!!!! I so wanna try that glorious vit c pump of dreams…..I’m going to try and order it! Thank you for your videos and all the info I’ve absorbed over the last few weeks. The knowledge I have on ingredients now has helped me so much and my skin has improved so much because of this. Thank you Shereene 💕
🎉🎉🎉super congratulations on the expansion of your products. Please can you do a video explaining the different peptides that are listed as ingredients and what benefits they give? I often see peptides listed with different numbers but have no clue as to what they do. Many thanks x x 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yes, would love a sunscreen round-up. Especially looking for a power form with a little color. I live in hot humid weather, so staying power would be great 👍 Thanks for sharing your knowledge 😊
So happy for you! Hope your line is super successful. Thanks for the great eduction! I'd love an in-depth look at retinal and Vit C with all their variants and names. I think they can get really confusing!
Yes to an SPF roundup! I live in the Caribbean and need a very effective SPF for my oily, sensitive skin. Something that doesn't sting my eyes when I get sweaty please.
One minute ito this video and I’m all for your skincare line simply bc you said you’re scared! Live your dream, do your best very excited for you…really anyone who realizes their dream. Best of luck
Sunscreen - yes please! I've been using sun bum face mist directly on my face (eye lids, hands and ears included) every 40 minutes whenever I'm getting any kind of sun (especially in the car). Do you think it's good?
Thank you Dr. Idriss! Would you be willing to make a video regarding the efficacy of blackhead/pore vacuums that can be used at home? If you recommend them, and if so which brands? Would LOVE that information☺️!
somebymi suncreen actually, the orange one. i see it's getting more and more people using it, i don't know if its really good or not. and thank you for your video, it really helpful!
Hi Dr Idriss, how are you and your family doing ? Let me start with appreciating you being honest and straightforward about skincare and how it works. I am a 22 years old international student in Canada, a big fan of your informative videos and you obviously. Dr idriss, I have a specific request to you. Please make it possible for us to shop your products internationally in your website or make it available in Canada please. Love and hugs for you and your family. Be healthy and happy. Take care ❤
I would really appreciate a sunscreen video going over different textures and their pro's and cons. I'm really enjoying Beauty of Joseon's sun serum at the moment - so smooth❤
It would be interesting a video about best sunscreens on the go. Many of us want to apply perhaps twice or three times per day depends on where we live. Easy application and a small package to carry in our handbags. Thanks I love your glowy skin 😊
I'd really appreciate an in-depth review on sunscreens. I've noticed that whenever I've used a chemical sunscreen I'd get breakouts, redness, and itching but not when I use a full mineral sunscreen.
YES to sunscreen update! I haven't been wearing much makeup since I found out it messes up the sunscreen film and most pills when I apply the correct amount. Would love water-resistant sunscreen recommendations that's great under makeup. With some US picks in there since I like their water resistance regulations better than eu or asian.
Please can you do a run down of best top up sun screens - Namely when your out and about with a focus on sprays....Also smaller size so they can fit in your handbag!!!
I definitely want to hear more about sunscreen before I make an expensive purchase. I have bought and then hated sunscreens every year. Either too greasy, to white casting or too tacky.
Thank you, my dear Doctor, for this and every video! Please allow me to bore you with this but I really would like to know if I’m in the right path here, mornings and nights I’ve been using the rose water, water and glycerin mist (thank you for the recipe:) after I use Florence Vitamin C serum, Nacomi 15% Niacidemide, and 50+ sunscreen, and and night I change the sunscreen for a Nacomi 0,25% Retinol (which I’m planing to slowly move it up a notch every bottle I finish) and moisturizer (some nights I slug it with baby butt zinc oxide based cream I found in my Mercadona that I feel is THE best thing that ever happened to my face and chest and hands and all my dry parts, again, thank you for this;), and once a week I change my retinol for Nacomi Glycolic Acid 10%. Florence is Italian and Nacomi is Polish, both brands that I love and are really the budget friendly I could get my hands on, and I’ve seen slow but nice changes on my fair sensitive skin and all thanks to you ❤❤❤ I live in A Coruña in Spain and we barely have any sun here but I always wear MY-DAMN-SUNSCREEN 🤣🤣🤣 (I love it) I wish you could come to our Sephora or at least have access to your products here in Europe, I wish with all my heart you go up the sky and beyond with your skincare business! Thank you, thank you, thank you ♥️♥️♥️
Would love it if you could possibly expand on information briefly mentioned in some of your other videos. I'm 70 yrs old, use your Major Fade products (love them!) and also some of the products you have recommended (Vanicream Vit C, No. 7 Retinol complex, and your lip basting technique). I am very interested in more information about CoQ10 ... I like the Eucerin cream for night, but too heavy/greasy feeling for daytime. Timeless has a CoQ10 serum I've been thinking about trying but not sure if it's effective. I do take 1 CoQ10 dietary supplement daily. Could you clarify the best practices/uses for Matrixyl 3000 and Matrixyl Synth 6 (Timeless brand)? And, of course, best type of sunscreen (spray on?) for use under makeup without tons of smearing/pilling. Thank you for all you do for us late blooming nerds!
Doctor can you please do an updated video on pregnancy and products that can be used for aging, hyperpigmentation, acne or a goos routine for women in late 30s
Thank you Dr. For your time and the video. Could you please teach about skin routine for people of colour, how to treat dark spots, hypigmentation including sunscreens as well. Much appreciated
When will it be available in the UK. Also plz note, i love your content. Its honest n kind to people that you don't push people to buy a million things.
I have a sunscreen recommendation for you to try! It’s from Then I Met You (Korean skincare brand), and has HA in it. You can get a mini version with some tonic water and an oil cleanser for $20 also.
Thank you for making those beautiful products!!! I have such a trouble picking out products that works and also feels nice on the skin. Your products just hit ALL the spots !!!
Thank you!! And yes please do SUNSCREEN, I had a TERRIBLE reaction to the neutrogena dry touch, 10 day very itchy blistery rash, I have tried every sunscreen I can get my hands on, they are either too white, too greasy, too expensive, finally I found the larocheposay anthelios tinted spf 50 but it is very expensive....help me dr idriss, you're my only hope
I’m really lovin face republic full bloom sun tint!! Been repurchasing it. It’s got zinc oxide & titanium dioxide, and it doesn’t have a white cast too since it:s tinted. I’m also not a huge fan of chemical sunscreen, so this physical sunscreen has always been my go to for 2 years
Hi there! I absolutely love your videos and I was wondering if you could discuss how to choose skincare for someone with constantly red and highly sensitive skin, as well as enlarged pores. 🤕 I'm particularly struggling with the issue of enlarged pores, but with my sensitive skin, it's challenging to find a suitable product that effectively addresses this concern without further irritation.😪 I would greatly appreciate your insights on this topic. 🙌
I'd really love you'd add a durable sunscreen to protect outdoors sweating for hours other rather than just the kind to use under make-up. I am a slow long-distance runner and spend hours outside each week. What is best if we really need it to work and last and do not care about white cast, etc at the time? Currently using thick mineral creams such as cereve mineral and vanicream mineral products.
I would like to know more about active ingredients in Make up, Is it worth it ? Does it have benefits ? Does it work ? Thank you for your videos and the knowledge !!!!!!
Please try Ole Henriksens Truth Banana Bright Mineral Sunscreen - it has tetrahexyldecyl in and my biggest question is, if I use this, would you still recommend using a separate Vitamin C serum in the morning before? Thank you for your videos - I have learned so much ❤️
I’d love a video on more recommendations for eye creams for anti-aging pls pls ❤it’s so hard to find most products in Europe , even Amazon doesn’t have it …
Yes We would love Sunscreen roundup And please do a Video for Indian skin tones ( I am most likely similar to Tiffany❤ skin tone ) and trying to Find best Physical and chemical sunscreen to add to collection
Would love to see more videos on "body" sunscreen, ones that come in larger bottles more suited towards applying the whole body. I've been doing my own research and theres so much content on "face sunscreens" but very little on affordable body sunscreens. I've been intrigued by the sum bum daily lotion with SPF since I'd like something i could apply daily without feeling like I'm covered in grease.
Hello Dr. Shereene, congratulations on expanding your product line to the rest of the world, I wish you much success in this adventure, I am sure that you will have excellent acceptance because we trust your experience a lot. Congratulations and I wish you much success. A hug from Chile 😘😍🥰🥳🥳🥳🌷
I’ve been using products recommended by Jiranium and wanted to try out other brands. This video is super helpful, thank you so much
Please please please, Dr. Idriss, I'm begging you to make a video on how to build a skincare routine for sensitive skin with rosacea, which actives to look for and which to avoid. Exactly my thoughts !!
I have the same problem 😢

I agree with you, the hands quite often give away your age.
Yes, please do a tutorial on sunscreens, especially for women, elderly women and a sunscreen that works well under make up without pilling🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I need a video on reapplying sunscreen over makeup and recommendations.
Cassandra Bankson has made one th-cam.com/video/rWRAJXx4GLI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=lXvlloylkJf1oMht
She has a few. Buy a spray 50+ SPF
black girl sunscreen has a spray!

@@nd2705 La Roche Posay invisible dry SPF 50 spray works perfectly fine, over make up. I've been using it for years.
I would love an evaluation of tinted mineral sunscreens
Me too
Agree :) Please include Ciele Tint & Protect. Thank you
Would also love recommendations on tinted mineral Korean brands!
I agree ! Including Paula's Choice tinted anti aging mineral sunscreen
Yes please do a sunscreen video! I'm also curious what are good sunscreen sticks for reapplication especially during the summer?
Go through her page, she's done several sunscreen videos :)

Can you provide information how to incorporate red light therapy into a routine that includes retinols and exfoliating
I use my red light mask before any skincare 4-5 mornings per week. I alternate Tretinoin & exfoliating (4-5 nights tret/week and 1-2 nights exfoliating/week, and usually one night off where I do a mask and extra moisturizing steps).

Yes, sunscreen!! For face. For sensitive skins. No fragrance, non-stinging! Not greasy. Thank you❤!! Love your content.
YES! Please do a sunscreen video!!!! I have rosacea and I feel like some flare me up!
As far as I am aware, you have never mentioned Bakuchoil as an alternative to retinol for those who are sensitive to acids. I would love to know your opinions on it.
i think she has, in one of her youtube shorts
She has said in the past that she used it while pregnant but she recommends Ole Henriksen Glow Cycle Retin-Alt which is a bakuchiol product for those who want to try it out

She briefly mentioned it in a video a while back. She didn't say too much on it, bad or good
Thanks Dr I! Yes a program on SPF would be great

I’m really lovin face republic full bloom sun tint!! Been repurchasing it. It’s got zinc oxide & titanium dioxide, and it doesn’t have a white cast too since it:s tinted. I’m also not a huge fan of chemical sunscreen, so this physical sunscreen has always been my go to for 2 years
Can u plz make a video about gym girl’s skincare (skin, hair, body) routine ?
Oh wow! That retinol in the beginning sounds awesome. Love that it has the Argireline in it too.
I love that you mentioned so many gems of Korean beauty especially the Round Lab cushion sunscreen pact ❤
Love all your videos and would love a new sunscreen update! Thanks!
Wow. You are really doing a good job for all of us. 🙏
Thank you for your videos - I have learned so much ❤️
Would like to see you to try out Dr. Sam Ellis’ skincare brand Prequel, all her products seem pretty promising!
I’d love a video on more recommendations for eye creams for anti-aging pls pls ❤it’s so hard to find most products in Europe , even Amazon doesn’t have it …
Yes
We would love Sunscreen roundup
And please do a Video for Indian skin tones ( I am most likely similar to Tiffany❤ skin tone ) and trying to Find best Physical and chemical sunscreen to add to collection
Sunscreen round up pls! And reapplication spray sunscreens would be amazing!
Yes new sunscreen round up!!
Yes please do a video on Asian sunscreens and products !!! 😎☀️
Would love a sunscreen video! Looking for fragrance free options/sensitive skin friendly 😊
I need a video on the best products for dark spots, freckles and sunspots
Would love to see more videos on "body" sunscreen, ones that come in larger bottles more suited towards applying the whole body. I've been doing my own research and theres so much content on "face sunscreens" but very little on affordable body sunscreens. I've been intrigued by the sum bum daily lotion with SPF since I'd like something i could apply daily without feeling like I'm covered in grease.
