Thank you for sharing! At 37 my skin is so different than 27 especially after having a baby. I also have PCOS and have ingrown chin hairs and they leave dark scars and the hair and dark marks are so hard to get rid of. Should I laser the hair first then the scars ? Topicals are taking so long!!! My derm said to ask my obgyn to help but trust me nothing I’ve done has changed my pcos symptoms. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Exfoliating could help with ingrown hairs, both current ones and to prevent future ones! Salicylic acid or glycolic acid depending on skin type, 1-3 times a week depending on your skin. Unless the pro here has better advice, of course!
Same, I avoid all products that contains it no matter how low the percentage. I found even cleansers that have it sting my face and make me red and reactive to anything else I apply after.
Ugh, thank you. Dealing with my skin from age 28 to 31 (now) has been more frustrating than any other period for me. Acne and some hyperpigmentation did, indeed, hit me out of nowhere. 🙏🏽
I am 31 now, just 2years back my skin was so good instead of having extremely oily sensitive skin. I was not that much into skin care back then only basics. I turned 30 my skin drastically changed😢Now I have to do lot of skin care to maintain. I got horrible adult acne the moment I hit 30th birthday. Plus sun spots started getting visible. Thank god I have fewer spots bcz I have been using sunscreen since my school days but that time it was not that much awareness so I was not consistent everyday like while I was indoors, I never used it or reapplications or for 10-15 mins outside the sun. I am also noticing it takes lot of time to get rid of any pigmentation which I never seen in my 20’s. So this video perfectly aligns ❤
Hi Dr Idriss, i dont know if this is a topic or video thats even possible but I would love to see a video or pillowtalk derm that focuses on or goes in to the way that autoimmune conditions(not all of them 😂) have or can have an effect within the sphere of dermatology, i myself have ehlers danlos syndrome with some dermatological symptoms, (i also have Ankylosing Spondilitis) As someone who has a number of "invisible" illnesses, when those illnesses(or any) impact on your skin and the way you look the psychological toll that takes can be huge and often times unacknowledged. ❤
Im turning 29 in 6 months, so thirties are right around the corner, I still feel like I'm in my early twenties but I realized this past year, my skin has been so much more oilier, before it never was, so I wonder if that's due to skin changes that occur naturally or maybe I'm doing something that makes it produce more oils.
I just want to say that I' ve been using A313 for the last couple of months and my nose is completely different, before it was full of blackheads and now they are gone! I' m 42 years old and combination skin type and my skin never looked better with A 313 and glycolic acid....thanx girl!!!
Wonderful video! Is it possible to aid in skincare internally and externally? for example eating all of your vitamins, eating enough fats etc? I would LOVE to see a video about that. I notice a huge difference in my skin when I eat a lot of vegetables. So it's got me curious if it's a real thing. ❤
Redness is quickly becoming my biggest issue. By recommending green makeup are you saying that we can’t actually improve it?? I need more help understanding the causes of redness (other than the genetic which I obviously have as a redhead)!!
for redness and rosacea try find the highest concentration of azeliac acid.. in Europe we have skinoren cream which is great, that try invermectin cream - fungal can also cause rosacea and redness. Of course there are great lasers or ipl.. i really depends on how is your redness type etc. - best to go to dermalogical clinic. Other than that, I love Derma E gel cream for psoriaric skin.. it really calms my redness down.. So, it can be manageable for sure.. i just takes time and finding what is good for your skin😊 hope it helps.. ow, and for cleanser I use la roche posay syndet AP gel.. it is the best
The green tint in the product is just for instant help, there’s still ingredients that help long term. Niacinamide, chamomile, resveratrol, licorice, Sulfur, azelaic acid, bromelain, sodium sulfactamide. I don’t even know what the last two are, this list is from a dermatologist. Centella asiatica also helps, it wasn’t really a thing in the west back when this dermatologist made this list.
I have heavy-lidded eyes, and I'm only in my mid-twenties. I worry about my lids drooping even more and obscuring my vision as I get older, especially since you mentioned your eyebrows lowering with age. Does the LED mask help with the drooping? What can be done for hooded eyes? Edit: LOL, nevermind, found the "droopy eyelid" and "LED mask" vids. Thank you for all your videos!
Thank you doctor ❤🤓! Is glycolic acid in a cleanser worth it? I use the loreal 3.5% glycolic acid cleanser and my skin loves it, but if we wash it down is it still beneficial for collagen production? 🙏🏻 PS:I have been following your tutorial on using 0.5% retinol+ moisturizer on my neck+ and it’s perfect🎉
Hey Shereene, great video as always, don't know what my skin would look like If I hadn't discovered you! I'm curious if you could make a video on Adapalene which I just started using for my acne and scars and I can't find any deep dives on it. Have a great Saturday!
Thank you for the video! I would like to know if I have the Joovv panel is it the same as the led mask? Thank you. Also can you do a video about peptides cream?
I’d love to see a video solely about non chemical sunscreens. So many people can’t wear chemical sunscreens without some sort of skin reaction. Me personally I get a horrible allergic reaction each time I try to use them. So zinc sunscreens are my only option and they seem to be less talked about in general 😮
Saludos from Florida Dr I 🤗 , Love your flash mask 😍❤ 37 here and already experiencing those changes but thanks to you I’m learning to address them the right way . Thanks so mucho 🥰🫶🏼 , XOX ❤❤
Great info as always! My LED mask makes a huge difference, I started using it 3 or 4 years ago (35 now) and can tell such a difference in glowy and even skin, and I don’t know if I’m crazy but it seems like it makes my eyelashes grow longer? Also I LOVE Dr Idriss’ de-puffing gel.
I turned 28 in march this year and suddenly developed hormonal acne... and I've never had acne problems before! Not even as a teen! And now I'm like? What the heck? How can I fix this? I already thought I do everything in the book! (Been into skincare since my late teens actually! So around 12 years). Now I'm wondering since you didn't really adress this.. what do I do? My skin isn't oily or anything, my skin is dry :/
Mine was the same, very dry with acne at 28. Consider getting your hormones tested? It's a simply blood test your doctor can send you for. For females though, results are based on where you are in your cycle though so it's essential you know that - a period tracking app is great for this. I simple levelled out my progesterone and the acne is gone.
Honestly, you’re doing great. You have the foundational habits down. Now maybe add a retinol at night, and consider a vitamin c sunscreen in the morning. Keep it simple - you’re more likely to stick with it. ETA: actually, definitely add sunscreen if you aren’t already. 😊 ETA2 (sorry): if you really want to keep it simple, replace your moisturizer with something like L’Oréal revitalift night moisturizer with retinol and most sunscreens are basically moisturizer anyway, so unless you’re really dry or have very specific issues, you should be able to keep the product count very low still.
I’m 39 now so this video isn’t really for me, but I remember that around 30 my skin was super oily. I thought it was because of my twin pregnancy& postpartum, but this makes sense too.
Thank you so much for this video! It's giving me hope as an almost 34 year old starting to deal with hormonal acne which I didn't have before. I do have a question though. Is vegan/clean skincare as effective as non vegan skincare? I had a little bit of a skincare routine in my early 20s, but didn't really keep up with it too much in my late 20s because I got in my head about chemicals and worried that it may not be good health wise. What are your thoughts on vegan skincare? Or is there even such a thing as non chemical "clean" skincare?
Dearest Shereene, I am so sorry for what your beautiful country (Lebanon) is going through because of the Hezbollah and of the US for supporting Israel. May your family be safe. xx
i just have to say the flash mask has TRANSFORMED my skin in ways that being on tret for 1 yr has never been able to to do. my HP has improved TREMENDOUSLY and this year ive gotten more compliments on my skin than ever❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ITS A HOLY GRAIL. THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT💕💕💕
I have been using The ordinary 0.5% Retinol with Squalane since July, it doesn’t bother me at all and I use it everywhere on my sensitive face even my eyes. I use this about 4 or 5 times a week to alternate with the ordinary Lactic Acid and recently Aveeno Exfoliate. I’m using- The ordinary Lactic acid cream The ordinary retinol and squalane serum Aveeno moisturizer gel Vanivream cleanser Aveeno exfoliate Byoma Hydration serum Cerave renewing eye cream Vaseline Eucerin tintan sunscreen Cerave body sunscreen (white cast 🙄) My old ones I rarely use now (almost empty) Differin gel Cetaphil body lotion (Rarely/used to but still have some left of) Cerave Salicylic acid Estee lauder advanced eye Estée Lauder serum I plan on buying Dr Shereene idriss cleanser, moisturizer, serum and I think the roller flash mask or the other one.

I need this! Thank you! ❤ I started my skincare journey in junior high with a very simple and basic routine considering I had no acne and slightly dry skin, especially in winter. I’ve evolved over the years using what was necessary and it worked out pretty well. When I turned 30 I had a period of about 6 months where my skin was just a wreck and since have worked it out. Now at 33 I’ve been wanting to have a better understanding of the products to tailor my routine to the things I need to reverse.
Hello, Dr. Idriss.. What I would like to see in a video is how a woman can address issues that come at 50 + as pre menopause -menopause ,the fact that pimples come everywhere from hormones, from sweating like every 5 min ,what affordable products can be used especially if one has oily skin and live in a humid environment. Of course, other skin types / climate circumstances as well, just those are my worries since I am full of acne and what I used to use don't work anymore !!

Thanks for making this video, I just broke into my 30s and have noticed differences in the skin tone and texture. I've also noticed the beginning of sagging jowls!
Hey I have dry dehydrate and damage barrier skin I use aveeno baby calm and soothing relief cleanser by yiur recommendation But in winter I face lot of problem my skin got itchy, sensitive, bumpy I want to prevent it? Which product is suitable for my skib type
I already have an Omnilux mask so I don’t need a new one yet, but if I did I would probably try this one. I like that it extends under the chin. That seems like an important place to stimulate collagen. Mine doesn’t have that.
Please please please make a video on face with stored sun damage and actinic keratosis and what's the best way to treat such a face, to reverse if possible in a degree the damage, for better aging . 🙏🏼❤️🌞
Thank you for the info and content you provide, i have a number of chronic illnesses and for me skincare is an escape from constant pain I am in, thank you 🙌
Just turned 33, honestly not minding the oily skin at all! Had dry skin in my 20s. Oily seems easier to deal with and has a nice healthy shine as opposed to dry and dull
This came just at the right time. I just turned 29, & the past year or so, I've developed all kinds of eczema & sensitivities & dermatitis I've never had. I've never used retinoids (just watched your vid), & I do feel so empowered watching your videos. I have your moisturizer, but is that something to avoid if my barrier needs rest? Thanks, Dr. Idriss!!
Can you please do this for your 40s? I turn 40 in November.
She has one
She has made a video on 40s, look her up and use 40s and you will find it 😊
If aging means becoming prettier by the day like you are doing, I'm all up for it.
Please put more french and European Brands, because we don't have American brands in Tunisia , thank you ❤
Can you talk about home hair removal IPL devices and their effects on other skin changes besides the hair (freckles, sun spots, moles)
Thank you for sharing! At 37 my skin is so different than 27 especially after having a baby. Hey as a fellow pcos girlie I can say that cutting carbs and sugar can ease all those symptoms 😊😊
Get your hormones tested!
Am I the only one who is super irritated by niacinamide? And it's in EVERYTHING now.
Niacinamide over 5% can be irritating!
Yeeesss, I hate it!!! It's in everything and I'm super sensitive to it so it's really annoying for me
Me !!! It itches so horribly and causes hives for me 😭
Same, I avoid all products that contains it no matter how low the percentage. I found even cleansers that have it sting my face and make me red and reactive to anything else I apply after.

Taking notes!
Hi Dr. Idriss! I hope your family in Lebanon is safe
They are safe, because Israel does actions against terrorists only. Not against civilians. I wish everyone would understand that.
I just want to say that I' ve been using A313 for the last couple of months and my nose is completely different, before it was full of blackheads and now they are gone! I' m 42 years old and combination skin type and my skin never looked better with A 313 and glycolic acid....thanx girl!!!
Can you do a video on how to incorporate retinol, aha and bha with LED light therapy? Thank you Dr. Idriss ❤
Can you please make the 40s version im literally lost ! There is aloooooot of options! I font know what is the necessity and whats not ! Thank you x

Lasers with a good dermatologist
Question, do you wash off the Glycolic acid after application? Or do we go straight to moisturizing
U keep the glycolic acid on as treatment! 😁

After a313 can you use the led mask (30minutes - 1 hour later?
Or if that night u used exfoliants

What about the dieux eye cream? It's in the thumbnail and listed in the description but not mentioned in the video, what does it help with and how?
Another peptide eye cream option!
جميلتي❤
Thank you ❤
Can you use the cosrx serum WITH vitamin c serum or do those two serums not go well?
Sorry to bother you, I just struggle with figuring out how many and what serums can and can’t be used together!
I'm 41. Let's see what I should've done lol.
Lolll can still be helpful !
😂😂 love this comment
😂😂
MY mind is blown!!!!! I have been complaining that my temples deflated overnight!! Im 32! NOOOOOOOOOO
I’m 39 now so this video isn’t really for me, but I remember that around 30 my skin was super oily. I thought it was because of my twin pregnancy& postpartum, but this makes sense too.

I’m using-
The ordinary Lactic acid cream
The ordinary retinol and squalane serum
Aveeno moisturizer gel
Vanivream cleanser
Aveeno exfoliate
Byoma Hydration serum
Cerave renewing eye cream
Vaseline
Eucerin tintan sunscreen
Cerave body sunscreen (white cast 🙄)
My old ones I rarely use now (almost empty)
Differin gel
Cetaphil body lotion
(Rarely/used to but still have some left of) Cerave Salicylic acid
Estee lauder advanced eye
Estée Lauder serum
I plan on buying Dr Shereene idriss cleanser, moisturizer, serum and I think the roller flash mask or the other one.
Who at 30 can afford such expensive products. It's ridiculous to spend so much. Do your research, you can find great products at a better price point.
Sorry but we need drugstore products .all the products you mentioned not available in 🇩🇿🇩🇿
Perfect, as I'm turning 29 this November 😅🤗 definitely see changes already in my skin!
It’s so refreshing seeing an American skinfluencer talk and rave about Clarins. There is a REASON why Clarins is one of the top selling global brands, its formulas are top-tier. Take notes, America!
I use a cream from a compounding pharmacy that has tranexamic, azelaic and kojic acids and niacinamide, which I use for the daytime and the same cream but with tretinoin 0,05% at night. I also use ascorbic acid twice a day as a serum and another serum with licorice root and alpha-arbutin. That and basic cleansers, moisturizers and sunscream (I try twice a day, I work in a lab so it's a bit complicated). Oh and I'm thinking of getting a glycolic, lactic and salicylic acid gel 2-3 times a week. I really threw the kitchen sink at it but I don't wanna look older :p Oh and it's all either compounded or korean.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Can you make a video about skincare during periods? Does it differ from daily skincare.
I have the Currentbody 4 in 1, but ended up getting the Jovs lazer mask because the red seemed to turn more amber for whatever reason. I can definitely feel it doing something. Plus, creeping my guy out walking around like Hannibal Lector is fun
The idea of a 'peak of ageing' is so unhelpful and anxiety inducing for anyone who cares about it. Another tactic using insecurity to sell products.
I love your videos really helpful! 🙂 I just ended my 20s in March, entering my 30s!
Great video!!! Could you do a video of different routines for different skin concerns, for example skin care routine for your 30’s for brown and red discoloration. Another one could be skin care routine for your 30’s for acne. You would outline the perfect step by step routine for these concerns for people in their 30s. Thank you!!! Love all your products specially the serum and the depuffer
I need this! Thank you! ❤
I started my skincare journey in junior high with a very simple and basic routine considering I had no acne and slightly dry skin, especially in winter.
Thank you for this. Would love to hear your thoughts on Pavise sunscreen. Apparently it doesn't need reapplication. I am intrigued
Hello, Dr.
Curious: Have you noticed any differences between how your male patients age in their 30s versus your female patients?
It’s difficult listening to you talk about skincare and not mention a single thing about what’s happening in Beirut. It’s ok to show you’re a human being on your own channel, you know?
so grateful to have found your page. at 37 i feel like i aged so much overnight and my eyes are so wrinkled and i am following your suggestions now
Thanks for making this video, I just broke into my 30s and have noticed differences in the skin tone and texture.
Ilove you Sherine ❤
❤❤❤
Please could you discuss growth factors and DNA repair enzymes 🙏💜
I do love watching your videos! Thanks for making the investment!
I already have an Omnilux mask so I don’t need a new one yet, but if I did I would probably try this one. I like that it extends under the chin. That seems like an important place to stimulate collagen. Mine doesn’t have that.
Please do European drugstore brands ❤ I'd love to get the products mentioned but they are not available in Germany.
What about adapalene? If I use a product like Differin does that mean I just have to miss out on the benefits of retinol?
I'm a man in my early 30s , I hope you clarify if these product ok for men to use 🤭 Also , I hope you make more content on men's skin care advices
Please please please make a video on face with stored sun damage and actinic keratosis and what's the best way to treat such a face, to reverse if possible in a degree the damage, for better aging . 🙏🏼❤️🌞
Love your videos! Where can we purchase your sun visor that makes you look like a member of daft punk😂 I would love to have one!
Hello! I want to know if the Theragun Face Pro is a good device for skin care. Thank you for all your work.
What are the good ecfoliants products / brands for 50's?
Thank you for the info and content you provide, i have a number of chronic illnesses and for me skincare is an escape from constant pain I am in, thank you 🙌
Just turned 33, honestly not minding the oily skin at all! Had dry skin in my 20s. Oily seems easier to deal with and has a nice healthy shine as opposed to dry and dull
Have you ever used a dedicated hialuronic acid serum, just curious 😅. I really love your content

Thanks, Dr. Idriss!!
Did I mention my under eyes, are under eye-ing 😹🙈
