Thanks, Moto Jawn! you just saved me $75 per motorcycle because that's what my local HD shop charges for grip installation. I usually do my own grip installs (sportbikes) and I'm a new Harley rider so I didn't want to mess anything up. But I can see that this is really very simple. I have a 2023 Breakout and a 2024 Low Rider S. I bough the Get a Grip grips for both of them. I'm still trying to get used to how Harley doesn't use bar ends. Haha. Ride safe and God Bless!
Recently put the same grips on my ‘22 Fat Bob, with gold end caps. Paired ‘em up with a set of Crossthread shorty levers. A very comfortable setting. Love the grips.
I recently swapped to the same grips but with the orange cap on the end. After a round trip back home I looked at my hand and the pattern of the grips caught me off guard 😂 they feel good 👍🏻
Good choice of grips I have the same ones on my Road Glide… and don’t worry I have the same problem with my hands “bear paws” big palm stubby fingers lol awesome video bro!
I had the same issues as you. Small hands lol. Changed the OEM grips to the Biltwell Alumacore and also installed the 1 Finger Signature Series brake and clutch levers. Problem solved.
Compare the grips on the SG to the Sportster grips. The OEM grips became sticky and began disintegrating after 15 years, but I stayed with the OEMs because I use a Crampbuster for the long rides.
Been loving your videos since I got my 21 Bob. Did you ever have rattling from the fairing/windshield at certain rpms? I can't seem to pin point this annoying rattle/vibration, didn't know if you experienced the same and managed to adjust it?
Your hands don't look small at all but I find the diameter of the stock street bob grips to be perfect. I switch to big name grips and went back to stock bc stock was thin imo. So I put leather tassels on them. Perfect.
PAUSE…. Jk good video. I also have small hands and waiting to get my bike back from dealer. Getting some new bars and grips. Can’t wait to see the difference
I appreciate all the Harley content, iron, my current bike and street bob, maybe a future bike of mine
Nice! 🤟
I just sold my 2020 iron and got a 2019 street bob love the bike but I have the same issue with the grips glad to see it ain’t just me

Good to hear. I'm thinking cross thread levers next

Yeah I like them so far 🤟
Thanks for the video. I went out and just changed my grips!!
Right on 🤟

Lol glad we got it figured out
Is there a certain glue to use or do the grips come with the glue?
I just used what came with it
About the fairing.....It would be nice to find a windshield that stops the buffering off the head.
I'll have more coming on that soon

Yeah my sportster grips have started to deteriorate after 18k miles

Since my street bob is orange, I thought of getting the whole set with the orange end caps.
Could be a good choice
Yup.. got same problem...Know the feeling!!
Moto "Baby Fingers" Jawn
I dont know what to do with my hands 👐
I feel the same way they make my right hand hurt like hell.
Especially with carpal tunnel
So much easier with TBW. Regular cable throttle can be a pita. And the clutch side was too easy. Nice job.
Yeah pretty easy this way
My opinion for the sporty is vans grips , ive had them on 7 bikes now , never a single issue , nothing.
I'll have to check those out
@@TheMotoJawn you'll really enjoy the price and feel if not they are cheap so it's not a huge loss.

Must be small hands bud. I have a 24 street Bob and I’m considering larger grips
I don’t have small dainty hands. But as the unofficial representative to the small dainty hand community, welcome!
You know what they say about guys with small hands?
Everything looks bigger in them! 😂😂😂
Dragn on alot. Get to it
that St fairing will look sick on
st bob , but then you would have to change the bars
