It's fascinating how good he is at talking with children. His voice got a bit higher and softer and I suppose more pleasant and less intimidating for children and he explained everything in a very clear way without underestimating the kid's intelligence.
at that age, scratch that at any age besides I guess a baby even then, I would rather be spoken to as an adult/human, I find it belittling and undermining the intelligence, it's like drawing a line and putting children in their place, the whole respect your elders thing, which a lot of adults abuse
@@MilenaPetrovic-gc8ki I just find it to be a very fine line that bo is walking between being caring and compassionate to being belittling and undermining, he might have the right intentions but it comes off as a bit patronizing and condescending
@@MilenaPetrovic-gc8ki 100% totally and I guess when talking to younger individuals this is his way of trying to step out of that and bring himself down to what he views as their level
he says the exact same thing in every interview, i could probably do press for this movie. but i still keep watching every single one that i can find, genuinely could listen to him talk for the rest of my being
The eighth grader asks his question around 25:40 (time stamp for anyone who wants to jump to it). Such a sweet moment and honestly super brave to ask about such an intense scene!

the crazy thing is you filmed this whole thing and even got up close at the end, I didnt realize it, I thought this was a vid from somewhere else. Must have been something to be there. good audio too, my cam audio is horrible. Anyway, I just think its amazing that bo burham is just randomly trying to put his thoughts together about present day and somehow randomly makes a movie that is really genuine, according to ppl who saw it. I wonder if he even cared to, or was he just trying to get his point across about how chaotic life in the internet age has become.
Aw man the kid at the end looks terrified. I get the gesture was supposed to be nice, but a conversation on stage is not a personable experience. It’s horrifying to be the subject of an audience when you’re not expecting it.
forcing the kid to sit down on the floor is kind of demeaning even if meant in a endearing way, bo I find is a little creepy in his attachment to children
I don’t think he means it in that way please don’t make it seem like that… and he’s not forcing him to sit little homie just seems uncomfortable standing up… in my eyes I prefer sitting down to standing up so idk but don’t make is seem like he’s trying to be predatory at all

i love how bo talks about how kids speak in a staccato way then he does too. it's pretty cute though!
What's staccato? 🤔

im now at the part where he gets the kid on stage and sits down with him. ANGEL
This crowd REALLY likes Bo Burnham
The cheering when the kid is coming up to the mic makes my heart happy
he says "bo burman" in the beginning
i wish i could go back in time and unhear the question at 23:50

I literally almost threw up
Thank you for this, so glad you got Max in at the end
