12:40 The decisions about kids. neurochemistry are NOT being made by programmers anymore. It's even more troubling. AI develops algorithms, and they are millions of lines long sometimes. They do it in an iterative process of selection, like artificial evolution with the goal of producing an algorithm that maximizes your number of clicks, or number of minutes on a website, or whatever goal is set by the company owning or using the AI. The AI is relentlessly, almost ruthlessly, using their neurochemistry to keep kids (and non-kids) engaged, and no programmer fully understands what they're doing anymore, only whether they are successful or not at keeping the engagement going.
