@@thechosenone6333 I've been very disciplined throughout my life even at doing things, projects, tasks that haven't been fulfilling to me. I just thought I've got to keep doing them until I finish not considering resistance to them, my energy levels and health. I got a burnout. I regret not being spontaneous in a sense connecting to my feelings about what I really like doing and start doing them until I like to do them and then reassess what to do next.

Absolutely spot on! It's not about flashy success or what you’ve achieved. It's about sharing your passion and values. When people understand your 'why,' that’s when real trust and connection happen. This is the foundation for long-term success, both in sales and in life.

I remember reading this in Start With Why! It’s so true, most business try to sell their what right away. Boosting about their company when actuality, being humble about ones achievements, explaining ones purpose, is so much more heart felt and effective.

The biggest mistake when it comes to this is thinking it's all about you, but the truth is you have to make your date or customer feel special...you have to learn to put the spotlight on them and show them you are here to help and provide for them....warm them up and make them feel special...
AND THEN...they will respect you more and feel more comfortable as they will return the favor by being obligated and then it goes from there
Never think it's all about you....let them know that you're here for them

Not enough reference experience in real life.
You want to see it as a game you play on pc.
If you get the same outlook in dating or business you will almost become addicted to being always out there as opposed to being part of "Thank god it's friday" club in the words of late Jim Rohn
When you remind yourself always that the chance of death is around the corner (it's possible even if it's probably not going to happen) and maybe today or tomorrow it's the last day you live you will suddenly and hopefully get that urgency feeling inside to do the best you can as fast as you can either/or both in business and dating.
There is no rejection only feedback
Failure is only defined by time limits. Learned that from Richard Bandler watching one of his older video seminars on youtube he is the co founder of NLP along side John Grinder (neurolinguistic programming) which is almost like a secret ace you have up your sleeve if you learn it well and apply in real life situations.

One thing you notice in this snippet is the presence Simon has. Absolutely owns the space, which is a beautiful setting (props to the person who designed it). Totally engaging and it's because of his passion for the subject. For all the insights Simon offers in business and relationships, I think it's his understanding of social mastery that is the biggest takeaway.

Funny :) And so true! Yes, this approach won't close the deal and if it does, it won't last for long. Bcz in relationships, looks, money, property can attract, but they're not rooted in the heart so they don't strengthen connection.
And in business, comp, benefits, title can attract but they're not the reason why people stay bcz they're not seeded in the heart so they don't enable connection.
Sharing one's beliefs and cause are key because "the mind can be convinced but the heart must be won." Hmmm... You said that :)

Well, it's not far down to paradise

    And find tranquility
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see, believe me
It's not far to never never land
    No reason to pretend
And if the wind is right you can find the joy
    Of innocence again
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see, believe me
    Sailing
Takes me away to where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
    Soon I will be free
    Fantasy
It gets the best of me
    When I'm sailing
All caught up in the reverie
    Every word is a symphony
    Won't you believe me?
    Sailing
Takes me away to where I've always heard it could be
Just a dream and the wind to carry me
And soon I will be free
Well, it's not far back to sanity
At least it's not for me
And if the wind is right you can sail away
    And find serenity
Oh, the canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see, really, believe me

If starting a business didn't seem unreachable enough, this is what it needed to be 100% unreachable.
Sales is like dating. Absurdly difficult to the point where it's practically impossible
And just like dating there are people out there who somehow were born capable of doing it, but not us, not the failures of nature.
    Life is shit

@@user-yg3fo2od4p I don't know. I've seen a lot of guys through my life that could simply go and talk with women, never needed to practice anything. Or talk to strangers in general. Whereas I struggle to keep conversations going even with my friends, for all of my life. I can't even comprehend how people flirt. But people who do never had to learn, they simply can. because is a skill necessary for the species to continue existing through time. It's logical to think that this skill is something you should have already when you are born. Animals don't need to learn to interact with those of their own species, then how come humans have to? What sense does it make?
Nature does produce failures, evolution is trial and error after all. When successful you have an adaptation, when not, an evolutionary dead end.
It happens in nature all the time. That smaller animals who eat last in the pack, the weaker, the one less likely to survive, the one that doesn't reproduce. But in human society we do not die. We keep living a terrible existence.

@@franacha it is very much possible that some people learn things faster than others. I'm /have been terrible at communication all my life. Only now am I realising how growing up I was conditioned to think or behave in a certain way that impacted my communication skills. What happened wasn't my fault. But it is my responsibility now. We all have a different set of skills and we all can leverage it. You may be thinking that you need to learn to talk to or impress a girl. You are missing then that communication is not just talking. It is also writing, drawing, singing, dancing, or just a random helpful gesture.
I write this as a female- I'm more impressed by a kind gesture than grandiose verbal vocabulary from any man. Perhaps your kind of partner is not the one who might be impressed by fancy speech but who is impressed by your other kindness, or generosity or the work you do. Sure you have something good about you, leverage that. It's about finding the people who believe what you believe. Hope you do so. Life becomes easier when you believe in what you are doing. Then it becomes easier to meet the same kinds of people.
      All the best! Cheers!!

@@user-yg3fo2od4p I agree with the conditioning. But what I am now is just an empty human being. I never have anything to express, to communicate. Not only I can't hold conversations, I can't dance, and I can't sing either. I could technically write or draw but again I would have what to express.
How do I not need to learn to talk to impress a girl? I've seen that it is the most important skill necessary to even begin to flirt. How can you even meet people when you never have anything to talk about?
Kindness, or generosity are no useful. You need to already be in some level of confidence for those to be noticeable.
There's also no work to do. As someone empty I don't have dreams, goals, or even desires for my life. I don't even have reasons to get out of bed every day. I don't have anything good to leverage. I don't have anything to believe in.
How could I find the same kind of people if I am no kind of people? The idea of a woman finding me even remotely attractive is simply science fiction. I can't even make friends. There's no chance of finding love.
Life is boring and tedious and the only thing it brings consistently is anxiety. This life we live in is the true hell.
And I wish I could get out of it. I can't wait to be dead.
