    Watch their video for Vortex, it's a thing of absolute beauty. Some of the best metal, and especially one riff in the middle of the track, that I've ever heard.

    • @ericpeterson7512
      @ericpeterson7512 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I love the structure of that song. That middle part is at the exact center of the song, and the rest of the song swirls around that pivot point. There's no verse, no chorus. No part repeats, the song just evolves from one part to the next. From soft and melodic with a super groovy drum part, to a brutal monstrous ending with one of the lowest, sickest, most gutteral growls you've ever heard! Truly great song, and video!

    Tati is such an absolute superstar. a 1:1,000,000,000 front person. Not just the obvious contrast of her beautiful clean vocals and absolutely brutal harsh vocals. But her stage presence, sass, and confidence are just a shooting star. And on top of it she's a fashion icon. She has so many unique looks. Just a goddess.

    Love it!! One take Judgement and Punishment would be a good one to do next. I sympathize with you missing their show. I was going to see them opening for Slipknot, and when the war started in Ukraine, they cancelled their tour (understandably). I'd love to get a chance to see them someday.

    Good stuff! It was Disturned and Breaking Benjamin that Jinjer opened for some of their 2023 North America tour dates. I saw them in September as the headliner with Monuments opening for them in a room with 400 people. Jinjer is always fantastic live. Go see them next time!!

      I went to the one in St.Louis and they were so good, too bad people werent that hyped, but I was. Also, Breaking Benjamin went insane and Disturbed wasn't bad. They only have a few songs I like from them, but Breaking Benjamin and Jinjer were all I needed

    • @ericpeterson7512
      @ericpeterson7512 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The best way to catch Jinjer is headlining. With their own sound and lights, and a full set of brain melting Jinjer metal. I’ve seen two of those small venue shows over the past year and a half, and they’re some of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. They were both general admission, and you can get right up against the rail and stand five feet from the Queen of Metal in all her glory. She is Bruce Dickinson level great, and you can get almost close enough to touch her for like $30. Best dollar value in heavy metal today. And really what makes it great is how fkn tight the whole band is live. They're a must see.

    • @ThePizzablogger
      @ThePizzablogger 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@ericpeterson7512 agreed 1000%. A smaller venue is always the best place to see any band because it's a more intimate setting and the energy between band and crowd is on fire. I'm so glad to have seen Jinjer in such a room.

  • @maureenwagg5305
    @maureenwagg5305 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Tatiana and, quite frankly, the entire band are so tight that you are always impressed. Vlad can make any drum kit sound like more than it is. The bassist and guitarist are just off the charts. One of the best live bands out there today. They should tour (and probably have) with Gojira. That would be an epic show.

    Oooh that sucks! I can imagine doing that myself. "Yeah let's get another drink and skip the support act. Never heard of Jinjer anyway." I'd be kicking myself too. They look great live. Often seem to be a support act which is ridiculous and a bad idea. Who would want to go on after something like that?

    I love how Vlad doesn't need a Neil Peart kit, like you said, lol. To fill so much of their songs. but he has a lot of cymbals, though. You just can't see it in this video. Checkout a drum playthrough sometime. He also has some piano playthroughs 🤨 like wtf. haha
    He's a classicaly trained pianist. I think that must be why his setup is so low.

    Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev is what Jinjer brings to the table wen they want to flex how hard they can go. It's so dirty musically and then Tatiana. Dis rapes your masculinity from you at the.end. her l9w growls are ridiculous for 5 foot 115 pound woman. Wtf . And then you add in the fact the rest of the band is stupid good.
    What's not like about them
